    Hi tck,

    Looking at the information you gave, I could say it should work properly.
    It should be one of the two things, first one is caching (try to flush out cache from your caching plugin or if your server has an internal caching, clearing browser cache might help as well), the second one is plugin (try to temporarily disable all plugins and check and try enabling one by one to know which one is causing the issue).
    If both are not helpful then please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.

    1. Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
    2. Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
    3. Click ” Create New “.
    4. Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
      ( to be sure that we have enough time to debug ).
    5. Click ” Submit “.
    6. You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.

    When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
    If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create an admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.

    Best regards,
    Nikko

    Hi tck,

    Thanks for giving us admin access.
    I have deactivated and removed Enable jQuery Migrate Helper plugin since it’s not used anymore and jQuery Migrate file isn’t needed for the site to work properly.
    The issue on your site however is security, when I inspect on the web console I see admin-ajax returning a 403 Forbidden Error.
    I also tried to add this code in Appearance > Theme Editor > (Enfold Child) > functions.php:

    function builder_set_debug() {
    	return 'debug';
    }

    add_action( 'avia_builder_mode', 'builder_set_debug' );

    It returns this error:

    Something went wrong. Your change may not have been saved. Please try again. There is also a chance that you may need to manually fix and upload the file over FTP.

    If I check further on the web console, I get the same 403 Forbidden error.
    And finally, I tried using a File Manager plugin, to add the same code and it returns 403 Forbidden error as well.
    The only thing I could conclude here is that there might be a modsec rule in firewall settings causing this issue.
    Can you try to disable mod_security? here’s a thread that our confirms that this issue is caused by mod_security on their site: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/site-is-not-editable/
    For further information regarding this, please check our documentation: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/intro-to-layout-builder/#troubleshoot

    Hi Nikko,
    after your post #1253981 I spoke with my server assistance, they didn’t find problems but I have to say that the backoffice page started to work: bottons were right I I was able to save an update to the page. The only thing that stopped to work was the layerslider. I changed it with a static image.

    So I tried to adjust the other web site with problems but I wasn’t able to do that. the errore displayed is always: Failed to load plugin url: https://scuoladellinfanziasantantonio.it/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-layerslider/LayerSlider/assets/static/admin/js/ls-admin-tinymce.js
    i have:
    WordPress 5.5.1
    enfold (4.7.6.4)
    PHP: 7.3.21
    Enable jQuery Migrate Helper
    Classic Editor (nothing change if I disable it)
    no other plugin actives.
    Varnish server cache disabled

    I don’t know what to do. I have others 10 website with enfold and I fear to breack them because I can’t understand where is the problem. In 4 years I’ve never had such a kind of problems.
    thanks for your help. please.

    Hi StudioArteimmagine,

    I have checked the other site https://teatronuovosalsomaggiore.com/ and I have deactivate Enable jQuery Migrate Helper plugin in there and it works properly now.
    The problems I pointed there seems to be fixed.
    As for this current site you posted, it seems to have the same issue, I did the same stuff I made on the other site, please try to ask assistance on this site as well as it’s fixed on the other one.
    In private content, I posted an example of a css file that’s not loading in the browser but when checking via cPanel, the css file is good.

    Best regards,
    Nikko

    Hi Silvia,

    I see, I apologize I thought you were the thread creator.
    Can you please create a new thread? then we’ll continue the discussion there, as not to confuse with the thread creator and so you can see the things I put in private content.
    If I can’t reply on your thread within several hours then please put the link here so I can easily go to it.
    As for Enable jQuery Migrate Helper plugin it is helpful but if you’re using the latest version of Enfold then most likely you won’t need it unless there are some plugins that still uses it.
    Also, you will know if it’s safe to disable it since it will show a warning of codes/files that uses it, if there’s no warning then you can disable it.

    Best regards,
    Nikko

    Hi Nikko
    thanks – the activation of jQuery Migrate Helper fixed the ALB, which now loads and am able to use it!

    However, I am still not able to update enfold theme, when I click on THEME UPDATE or IMPORT/EXPORT in ENFOLD tab within Admin menu, nothing happens..

    Thanks a lot
    Martin
