    hi there,
    I haven’t upgraded to WP5.0 yet but the Avia Builder has stopped working. I was on Enfold 4.4 and I updated it in case it was the problem, no fix. I also disabled all the plugins on the site to see if there was a conflict and no fix. The Avia Builder is still not working so I can’t edit any pages or posts. And I have four versions of this theme on the go.

    Could somebody please take a look – I’d be very grateful. Private details below. Thanks so much

    Can you give us ftp access? so we can check further and try to enable error logging.

    Classic editor installed. Avia Builder is not working and keeps spinning around without loading the content.

    Hi dcashion,

    You are getting a 404 error on the admin-ajax.php WordPress file though I’m not sure why the server is throwing that error. Do you know which version of PHP you are running on the server? Are we allowed to disable plugins for testing purposes?

    Hi Rickard,

    The server is running 7.2.7. I already tried disabling the plugins – in fact I disabled all of them and it made no difference. The Avia Builder still did not work but feel free to disable them again if you wish.

    Should I talk to our hosting provider to see if there’s something their end that causing the 404 error?

    Hi Rickard

    I got onto our hosting provider again (spoke to them initially when this problem arose) and they’ve got to the bottom of it. They put some security scripts in place which was causing the 404 error. I’m sorry for wasting your time and but at least we have it resolved and it might prove useful for other users of the theme. YOu can close out the call.
