Hi Enfold-Support-Team,
sorrowfully I can’t update the Enfold-Theme automatically by my created website http://www.kanzlei-efinger.de. And it doesn’t work via FTP, too.

Best regards, RikardHey Rikard, yes I registered the licens with an api-key. But there works only the theme version 4.2.3. So I can’t update the token etc.
Do you need more details (login credentials etc)?

I would suggest using the plugin mentioned by Rikard (which is made by Envato) https://www.envato.com/lp/market-plugin/ and using the token you have generated in ThemeForest and that should update your Enfold theme.
Make sure it has sufficient permissions:
Once you have updated the theme to the latest version, use the same token and add it to Enfold > Theme Updates and that should allow you to update the theme in the future via Theme Options and you should be able to remove the plugin.

I created an API-key and an API-token already (long time ago). But I can’t register this codes in the theme version 4.2.3, there is no space for it. Can you give me a tip for register the token in this old version?Best regards,

The update to 5.x has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541
You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/
If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.
