Hey there,
I have a website that I’m developing, and I have archive page templates created.
On the archive pages, the individual post will show the date of the first post but if there are posts that were published on the same date then it will not show the date for those remaining posts.
Example:
Post #1 – Published March 14th, Date SHOWN
Post #2 – Published March 14th, Date NOT SHOWN
Post #3 – Published March 14th, Date NOT SHOWNSee below screenshot for live example:
http://cmyers-current.staging.kinetik-it.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/screenshot.jpgNow, I’m looking to see where in the enfold settings / files that says or there’s a script that performs show first date while exclude remaining.
If there is a script that handles this function, or one that overrides it, please let me know ASAP!
Help is greatly appreciated :)

Thanks for that. I’m not sure if it’s the reason or not, but you are running an old version of the theme. First off please try to update to the latest version of the theme (4.4.1) to see if that helps: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update. Please note that you might have to remove the old installation first before you upload the new version.

I went and updated enfold to version 4.4.1, but yet I’m still seeing the same issue of the first post showing the date while the following posts that share the same publish date are not showing the date.
Thoughts?

You have the archive.php and includes/loop-index.php in your child theme. Did you update them too?
You should be running at least php5.6.3 for the code to work properly. Please consider upgrading your php version.

August 20, 2018 at 5:23 pm #999507Hello Victoria,
Within the child theme, the archive.php and includes/loop-index.php were not updated as those have been modified to meet some requirements specified for this project / website.
However, I did test removing these files from the child theme so the archive.php and loop-index.php would fall back onto the latest upgraded version of enfold. And, when I did this I still experienced the same issue of the date listings for the first article and not the remaining articles with the same published date.
This then leads me to believe the issue does not reside within the archive.php or loop-index.php
Thoughts???

Did you have your php version changed?
