    Hi,
    I have created another new API key to finally get Google Maps running on our website – but the theme cannot verify the API key for some reason.
    Any solution to that issue?

    HI Nikko,

    I did create another new one and have the same issue.
    I always receive this message: Could not connect to Google Maps with this API Key.

    Any idea how to fix it?

    Hi Marieke,

    Thanks for that, I added the API key to the backend of theme since we can’t see the error messages you are getting from Google Maps otherwise. This is the error message I’m seeing: https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#api-not-activated-map-error. Please try following the instructions there.

    No, that cannot be the issue, I looked into the Google Console and the API is enabled – where did you get the error message?
    Apparently you do not have any other solution in this case…
