    Hello,
I am experiencing some unusual behavior if I try to implement an anchor link that directs to another page with a color section that has a specific id. Some links are working correctly, but other links are going to the desired section, jumps up a little bit, and ends on almost the bottom of the element. I cannot find out why this is happening. There seems to be no pattern in when it happens, only that if it happens for a specific section it always happens to that section. Even if the other sections have exactly the same structure, styling, and elements but different id’s.

I provided the link to an example page in the private content block for this topic.

E.g. In the page (link provided in private content for moderators) at the section “Capacity Chart”, if I click on “Barbou” then it opens the page in the second half of the section of “Barbou” (the section has also id “barbou”).

I cannot figure out why it happens, could someone help me with this problem? It seems to me it should work.

    Thank you for your time!

    Stan

    Hey Hotelsolutions,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

We were able to reproduce the issue on initial load, but then it started to work correctly on our next attempts. It’s possible that the elements above are not fully loaded yet causing miscalculations to the anchor position. Please try to install cache plugins, minify the scripts and stylesheets or try to optimize the site in general specially the images so that the site will load faster. The following article should help.
