    Hi

    I am fairly new to website design so my apologies if I am asking a simple question. I am currently building a new site using Enfold Child and am using an existing site I have access to (using same theme) to understand ALB and build content.

    The main issue I have is that when adding an element in the new site, the options for that element are different to the options in the reference site I am using which is confusing me.

    For example, when adding a separator/white space, I get Styling (Horizontal Ruler Styling and Position), and Advanced (Element Visibility). On my reference site for the same element I get, Content and Screen Options? Within Content there are a lot of options to change the separator I am not getting in my new site.

    I would be grateful if someone is able to help.

    Hey Kevin,

    Are you sure that you are running the same version of the theme on the two sites? You can check that under Appearance->Themes, then click on Enfold on that page. If you are not running the latest version on one of the instances then please update that site to the latest version: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update

    Thank you for your reply.
    New site is Enfold v4.7.3.
    Reference site is Enfold v4.5.7 and there is no prompt for an update.
    Both sites are using Enfold Child v1.0

    Thanks for the update. Did you register the themes and did you add tokens to the backend to receive updates? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/

    Hi,

    Thanks for the info, that is your receipt and purchase code. You need to go through the process I linked to above as well, in order to register your theme and create a token. After you have generated a token, given it the correct permissions and added it to the backend of the theme, then you should start to get the automatic updates.
