Hi, I just updated Enfold and now all negative spacings with the “Trennlinie/Leerraum” element create more space. This leads to a messed up layout of hundreds of pages. Could you please have a look at this? Example page link is in private. Thank you!

    Hey aph80,

Sorry for the problem. We released a new version (4.8.5) of the theme yesterday, could you try updating to that please? If that doesn’t help, then please include admin WordPress and FTP login details in private so that we can have a closer look. Also please verify that you have backups of the site.

    Best regards,

    Hey Rikard,

thank you for your support. I updated to version 4.8.5 but unfortunately the issue persists.

I also found another small issue. On the homepage the background color of the accordion element is not being applied. Maybe that helps to find the cause.

If you work on the site, you might need to deactivate WP Rocket for that time. Please reactivate when you are done.

    Thank you

    Hi Arkadi,

Thanks for that. I’ve reached out to our developers so that they can check this out. Please reply to this thread once you have read it, so that it gets added back to our support queue.

    Hi Rikard,

thank you for taking care of this. How long do you think it will take on the developer side? I can´t leave the site like this for much longer as the layout flaws are bad for ux.

    Hi Arkadi,

I tried applying a fix on your site, but it doesn’t seem to be changing anything. Could you try enabling your parent theme to see if that changes anything? Also make sure to clear all caches and/or disable the caching plugin. If that doesn’t help either, then we can roll back your site to 4.8.3 if you like.

    Hi Rikard,

thanks a lot! The spacing is fine now on my end. I can also switch it up via “Trennlinie/Leerraum” element . I just have to clear browser cache every time before changes take effect which is new. However, the custom accordion color still doesn´t get applied. Any idea how to fix this?

What fix did you apply for the spacing?

    Best regards

    Arkadi

    Hi Arkadi,

Thanks for the update, I’m glad to hear that the spacing is working again. I uploaded a fix which will included in the next release of the theme.

About the Accordion; I’ve checked the element on a local installation, but I can’t see any problems there. Which setting exactly is not working for you? I can upload our current dev version of the theme for you, if you want to try it out? We are planning to release a new version tomorrow, if you would rather wait for that.

    Hi Rikard,

that´s great, thank you. In the Accordion element custom background color is not working for me. You find examples on the homepage of my website if you like to have a look. This issue is not that pressing so I just wait for the new version tomorrow and hope it fixes this.

    Hi Rikard,

thank you for the notice. I updated the theme. Now the accordion background color works for the expanded text. However, it is still not applied to the toggle titles.

    Hi,

Thanks for the update. I can’t reproduce those results on a test installation, and the Accordion element on your product page is using the default settings. Where can we see this problem on your actual site?

    Hi Rikard,

you can see the problem for example on the homepage in the FAQ section at the bottom of the page.

    Thank you and best regards

    Hi,

Thanks for the update. I see that you had not selected a custom colour in the FAQ section, so I tried it out. Here are the results: https://imgur.com/a/fS33qJ2. It’s working fine when I try it, but you might need to clear the cache from your caching plugin, before you can see the results reflecting on the front end.

    Hi Rikard,

thank you for looking into this issue again. So you selected blue text color right? My issue is with the background color.

I have selected #fffaf2 as custom background color of the accordion element, also on other accordions on different pages (more examples in private). Everywhere there is the same result: toggle background is still white, only the expanded text has #fffaf2 background.

On the website all the white color sections should have toggles with #fffaf2 background as a contrast. Before the update it was like that. After the update the background color only is applied to expanded text. Is it supposed to be like that?

    Hi,

Thanks for the update. I see the same problem on your site, but I can’t reproduce it on a test installation using the current version of the theme (4.8.6.1), could you try updating to that please? The styling is there on your site, but it’s being overridden by what looks to be old CSS for some reason.

Yes, the new update did it. I think everything is fine now. Thank you for your help!
