I have a Gravity Form that after submission performs a validation, stores a couple of variables in $_SESSION and then redirects to a landing page. After updating to Enfold 4.4 this no longer works. The $_SESSION variables are there right before the redirect but trying to read those variables on the landing page shows an undefined index and the whole $_SESSION is blank. Without changing any code or plugins I downgraded back down to a previous version of Enfold and everything worked just fine. Not sure what I need to look at or update but need to get this fixed so I can upgrade to the latest version.

    Hey Sobe74,

I’m not sure why that would be, but it could be happening because of the new performance features of the theme. Could you try to deactivate everything under Enfold->Performance to see if that helps?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

I had that thought too so I tried disabling everything and it is still happening. Is there anything else I can try or provide you to help get this resolved?

    Hi,

Thanks for the feedback. I don’t think a theme update should affect server variables, but I’m not sure if something from the theme could be the cause. I’ll tag our developers for the topic so that they can chime in.

Please send us a temporary admin login and login URL so that we can have a closer look. You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply. Also please post FTP login details in case we should need that as well.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

Just wanted to see if you got my Private Content reply? I didn’t get a confirmation so just wanted to check. If not I will reply again. Thanks!

    One more thing…

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update.

You need to start a session on the page where the form will redirect — the page-test.php or the loop-page-test.php file.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
