Hi, the text box editor is not showing any of the editing icons or content although there is content in place.
I have updated the theme to the latest 4.4.1 and have tried turning off all the plugins with no luck, the editor is still blank.
Any suggestions?

October 12, 2018 at 6:29 am #1020611Hi,
Thanks for that, your server is responding with a 404 error on the file in private which load TinyMCE. Could you try contacting your hosting provider to see why that is please?

RikardOctober 14, 2018 at 9:49 pm #1021289I got my hosting provider to look into the issue, below is their reply. Although they fixed the error, the issue of no editing tools appearing in the text box still persists. If there is anybody else who can add a possible solution, it would be greatly appreciated as I’m not able to do anything on the site.
As your theme developer stated earlier in this ticket that the page https://www.stateofmindfilms.ca/wp-includes/js/tinymce/wp-tinymce.php is showing 404 error, that has been corrected now. The folder wp-includes had full permission which caused the error. I have given this folder the permission 755. The link https://www.stateofmindfilms.ca/wp-includes/js/tinymce/wp-tinymce.php is loading fine.
Please contact the theme developer and inform that the 404 error has been corrected.

VictoriaOctober 16, 2018 at 6:01 pm #1022296Gee thanks for the help, really answered my question on how to fix.
October 17, 2018 at 5:39 am #1022559Hi,
Thanks for the update, though I’m still seeing that 404 error when editing a page. Like your other thread, this is very likely a local issue so we’ll have to go through general debugging to find the problem.
First off, could you try updating the theme to the latest version (4.5) to see if that helps please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update. Please note that you might have to delete the old version before you upload the new one in order for it to install properly.
Some documentation on general debugging: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/intro-to-advanced-layout-builder/#layout-builder-is-not-loading-properly, what to do when something goes wrong on your WordPress site.
Best regards,
Rikard -
