    Hi,

    we are on the latest version of WP and Enfold.

    we have some pages, where we don’t know but, they are not displaying the latest version of the Page after hitting the update button.
    When we head over to the Classic editor view (order preview button we can see the changes).

    But not in the advanced editor nor in the fronend of the page.

    Our local environment hast other PHP Version and server settings it still doesn’t work.

    Disabling other plugins its still not working.

    Whats wrong?

    Hey Innovie,

    Thanks for the login token. First off, could you try updating the theme to the latest version (4.7.6.1) to see if that helps please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update. Also please try to clear the cache from your caching plugin, or disable it to see if that changes anything.

    thanks!

    I found it. in that page we used an emoji (“😊”) this was blocking the page from updating.

    Why? i don’t know, but maybe you can tell me..? does it work on your end?

    Although my the issue seems to be specific. It isnt!
    This seems to be the same bug as https://kriesi.at/support/topic/avia-editor-bug-with-footer/

    As you can see in the description we have the same result there. And I think that we are not alone.

    Clients override their changes…over and over again by this bug. which is pretty urgent now. We get lots of complaints

    Thanks for the update. So how exactly can we reproduce this problem, simply add a smiley to your content on the page in question?

    Please test it locally on your testing enviroment and also you can test it on the site you already know see below. it doesnt matter.
    in any enviroment it doenst save the page.

    Apart from that, we have another bug since friday on the same site si***.com where we lost the second half of the page. after updating some content.
    Why could that happen?

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update. I tried adding a few emojis on the page in private, but its not making them into emojis for some reason. I’ve never had to add any before to be honest with you, how exactly are you adding them?

    The page where you lost content has open markup in the content, it’s breaking the layout builder and that is why the content is disappearing:

    <strong>Testing Features for 5G Services & Networks<strong>

    If you close the open markup then it should work as expected after that.
