I would like to add in a small fixed bar either directly below the menu header or between top header and main menu header that is visible on all pages and is static like the header. I want to add 3 content boxes with quality assurance statements e.g. 60 Day Returns | Free Shipping | Quality Products.

I’ve looked at adding in a custom widget but not getting anywhere very fast. Would very much appreciate any support on how to go about doing this.

    Cheers

    Hey kesdeg,

A widget in the header would likely be the easiest solution: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/header/#adding-a-header-widget-area, if that is not an option for you then I think you would have to copy header.php to your child theme and add your extra markup there.

Thanks for the info. From the documentation on the link, I’ve added in the widget and text but I can’t seem to find the code to insert the widget header below the menu bar. and push content down. It justs overlays the content below. I would really appreciate any guidance on what I can add in to do this.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update.

Looks like you managed to add the “extra-header-bar” section below the header. Is that all you wanted?

    Hi Ismael,

I spent a couple of days trying to sort this one but couldn’t get the styling right so I’ve had to pay for someone else to write the code for me.

Any chance of you guys looking at my thread on the CSS and Javascript merging issue on my site. I’m using Site Ground as hosting service and cannot figure out the problem, the site is really slow without it. I’ve linked the thread below.

    Cheers,

    Hi,

Thanks for the update. I’ll take a look at the other issue. We’ll close this one now.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
