    Adding child theme crashes the upload and I get an error:

    Incompatible Archive.

    Hey whdsolutions,

    Please try to download the child theme on your local computer, then drag all the files to a new folder. Delete the old folder, then name the new folder enfold-child and compress it to a zip file and upload it to WordPress.

    I am having the same problem. I have tried your proposed solution twice but there was no change. It still does not work to install the child theme.

    Here is how I now solved the problem. The issue for me was using Mac and zipping the files using a right click on the folder and choosing compress. Uploading this file results in an error. If you zip the folder on the command line with “zip -r enfold-child.zip enfold-child/” it works.

    I did the “rezip” of the enfold-child folder only with 7Zip and it worked.
