    Hi there,

I’ve read the instructions a couple times on how to add a widget area to the header and it makes sense for a single site install. The instructions mention “if the menu is below…”. We have sites within our multisite network where the menu is above, below, to the right, etc.

What is the best way to accomplish this look (where the phone numbers are to the right of the logo) in a multisite install? -> https://web.archive.org/web/20170710001451/http://www.tricountyhomeinspectionllc.com/

Our version of the site is: http://www.tricountyhomeinspectionllc.com/

    Thank you!

    Hey kjwaggz,

Thank you for contacting us. To add widgets on either side of the logo please follow the below steps:

    1. Create a Header widget area and add 2 text widgets here.

    2. For testing, purpose add placeholder text “right widget area” and “left widget area” to both the text widgets.
    3. Copy the code in this link to your child theme styles

This should work on your website :)

    Best regards,
    Vinay

    Thank you for the reply.

I don’t have child themes for each sub-site (mistake, I know). Is there a way to implement this in the absence of a child theme?

    Hi,

You can download a child theme. Or try the CSS in Enfold > General Styling > Quick CSS

    Best regards,
    Vinay
