    Hi,
I’m using child theme “Photography Portfolio” and I have some doubts about the store…

    1) I need to display the “Add to cart” button directly in my shop-page, so that the user is not obliged each time to enter at product-page to buy. How I can get this?

    2) My store will soon need many categories and subcategories for new products. Then I need to display a drop-down menu at the top of the shop-page with all categories and subcategories to easily find products. Can I have this with the current theme options? Or do I need some kind of plugin like Megamenu?

    Thanks in advance!
    David

    Hey David,

You can build a megamenu with Enfold menu.

    Hi,
According to all I need I think two options:
OPTION A: shop-2 (see link below)
    – I add a menu with dropdowns that is fine, but when I click on the menu I have the problem that a new page opens with the product category. I prefer the menu with drop downs act as filter as in the menu of masonry products below.
    – I need the products on this page to be displayed with the “Add to cart” button.
OPTION B: shop-3 (see link below)
    – This design of woocommerce I do not like much, but it displayed the “Add to cart” button directly which is what I need.
    – If I choose this option as I add a menu with dropdowns on the top?

    * I do not understand the problem to access the wp-admin, I have verified that the data is correct and I can enter with the user kiesi without problems, with simply copy and paste user and password.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi David,

Maybe the access issues are due to moderators being from different countries and some IP can be blocked by some plugin or the hosting provider.

You’re using masonry on the shop page. It does not have the option to have the “add to cart” functionality. To have that functionality you can either use product grid, or product slider, or hire a freelancer to do it for you.
Unfortunately, it would require quite some time and customization of the theme to achieve this, so I am sorry to tell you that this is not covered by our support.

    Best regards,
    Victoria

    Hi, Vitoria.
Solved the option for button “Add to cart” in shop page. Thanks.

    In this link https://www.merlinita27.com/tienda-2/ (provisional)
I have shop with a menu of product categories. When the user clicks on a category of the menu a new page opens with the products that correspond to this category, but the menu above has disappeared. I need this not to happen. Can you tell me how?

    Thanks,
    David

    Hi David,

Nicely done, though I agree masonry might look better, but you need the products to be sold :)

That menu is added by the Advanced Layout Builder on the page, but the category pages are using a different logic and so you cannot add the submenu there like that.

You could try to add the widget and paste the shortcode in there.

    Best regards,
    Victoria

    Hi Victoria!
Ok, following this thread https://kriesi.at/support/topic/change-a-product-category-page-layout/#post-526743 I copied this files:
    content-product.php
    content-product_cat.php
    to wp-content/themes/enfold-child/woocommerce

But now I don’t know how to modify this visualization errors:
The space between the top menu and articles for category
The articles are covered by the left sidebar

    Thanks in advance,
    David

    Hi David,

The thing is product-sorting, products and container_wrap footer_color have to be inside the wrap_all element and they are not. So the template renders as a mess. Can you show us the code? I still cannot log in, still get the page as on the screenshot below.

    Best regards,
    Victoria

    Hi Victoria,
Sorry for the inconvenience caused by not being able to access wp-admin. After speaking with my hosting they tell me that you have to add the Spanish language to your browser for access.

    Attached complete answer translated:
The reason why they are not letting you access is due to the fact that in the browser they are using, they do not have Spanish, Galician, Catalan, Basque, etc. added. It is not necessary to add it as main, to make it as secondary and the problem of access would be solved.

    To add them in Chrome:
In the upper right, click More More then Settings.
At the bottom, click Show advanced settings.
In the “Languages” section, click Language and text input settings.
Select the language you want to use from the list. If the language is not listed, first add it as one of your preferred languages for web pages. To do this, click Add.
In the right pane, click Show Google Chrome in this language.
Close the browser completely and reopen it to apply the changes.

To add them in Mozilla Firefox:
    https://addons.mozilla.org/en/firefox/language-tools/

I hope that once the access has been solved, you can access the code and make the template can be seen correctly.
    Thanks!

Hi i am using Enfold theme and in my shop I have the option “Add to cart” in every product. When I add a product to the cart a pop up window come in the right corner and show the product, but then disappear. I would like to have an Icon with the number of products that my costumer have choose, where you can decide also to delete a product or modify it, and make this icon apear permanently in the main menu. Is it possible? Otherwise I think people can get lost when they cannot find their own shopping car in the website.

    Thank you very much!

    Hi,
I was able to add Spanish language to my browser for access and was able to login, thanks for the advice.
For your issue, I believe that since the page is using the archives template, you may find that adding the sub-menu code to the template-archives.php and adding that to your child theme may solve the issue. Please try this.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hi Mike,
Sorry for my ignorance, but I need you to clarify:
    1) Where the template-archives.php are located?
    2) What is the sub-menu code that I have to add? and where do I add it exactly?
    3) How do I add to my child theme?

    Thanks for your understanding!
    David

    HI,
I have more than 3 weeks to solve this problem …
    Can we solve it definitively?
    Thanks,

    David

    #872554

    Hi,
Sorry for the late reply, the template-archives.php is in your enfold folder, and you can add a copy of it to your child theme to make it work. But customizing the template-archives.php would be some intensive code that is beyond what we can offer here, but you could hire a freelancer.

    Best regards,
    Mike
