    as the title states, I have been just bombarded with 500’s on my site I am building.
    my hosting company has stated that they have changed the php files values and such, but even now,
    I am still getting 500s when I upload a few files aroung 2–3MB.

    I am pretty confident that it is caused by my webhosting, but I am wondering if anyone is having this issue
    even after updating php mem limit and hta access.

    I am really sorry but we can not know what it can be.
    You see, as you said, 500 error is on your web hosting provider.
    If you provide a link of the phpinfo file, we might be able to look at it.

    Hi,

    Your problems are most likely not theme related so our support is limited for matters like this unfortunately, I think the best way forward would be to reach out to your hosting provider again as they can see what is going wrong on the server.
