    I updated my website to 4.4 and got the white screen of death with the following error below in Private Content.

    Hi Denis!

    It seems like folders were merged instead of replaced. Please go to /wp-content/themes/enfold via FTP, delete it and upload once again – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#ftp-install

    Same here! After updating theme and plugins i got only a white screen. No access to the backend. Uploaded the theme files via ftp but still the same problem.

    You need to delete the Enfold theme first via ftp and then upload the new version, not overwrite in case that is what you did.

    @jopradev     please delete the theme first and then re-install as @gowd said above. If you would like us to look into it, please start a new thread under Enfold sub forum and attach FTP and WP admin logins in private content field. Since issue was resolved for @gowd, we are closing this thread.
