    Hello, my site is in development mode. I built a new homepage slider, but cannot get the 2D and 3D transitions to work like they do in the demo. I do not see any difference between my settings and the demo settings. They just slide. Any thoughts? I am on Enfold version 3.7.1 with WP 4.4.4 (Serverpress).

    By “demo,” I meant the Layer Slider demos that came with the Enfold theme. All those transitions were working.

    Also, do you automatically update Enfold when Layer Slider updates? I purchased Layer Slider hoping to get direct support and it told me updates would not work if the slider was integrated with a theme. If I install the latest version of Layer Slider separate from an Enfold update, does that screw up anything?

    Hi,

    Thanks for the login details. We use the latest version which was released at the time of the developing the latest release of our theme, so it might be a few versions old, but that is nothing to worry about as long as you keep the theme itself updated. You should be able to use the standalone version but it’s a bit complicated and you won’t be able to use the Layer Slider element from the theme builder anymore. Not sure if that is something you want to attempt?

    About your initial problem: could you try duplicating the demo slider you like and then edit it with your own text and images maybe?

    Even when I created my own slide within the demo slider, the transitions did not work on my slide. Could you please log in to my site and take a look at the homepage slider I created and its settings? Thanks very much.

    Hi,

    transitions are working fine for me. Could you fix it? if you don’t see it then please clear browser cache and hard refresh a few times.

    I cleared out my cache. Still do not see the #20 transition I had applied to the homepage slider. Thanks.

    Hi,

    not sure about which transitions you’re talking about. Would be best to show us which transitions do not work for you, cause I can see that your slider seems to work fine for me.

    However, please update the theme to the latest version. That should fix any issues you are currently experiencing :)

    To update to the latest version follow the simple instructions here. (Or if you want the super detailed explanation you can read this blog post)

    If that does not help, feel free to reply here and we will take a closer look at the issue.
