Hello
First off loving the theme in general, great job.
I’m working on a new site at: http://www.jelfon.com/nr1/
We are only in the very early stages at the moment, but we’d like to make the whole site narrower as there is not a huge amount of text content in general, so the less space to fill the better.
Ideally I’d like to try the site width at 960px wide by default, and we want to keep it responsive.
We are using the default width in “Responsive Layout” so the 1030px option and as you can see we are using the boxed mode and the last Header option with the bottom menu.
Ideally I’d like to make the overall site approx 960px wide and reduce the default spacing from the current 50px to 25px.
I started the process by following a few forum posts and did manage to achieve some of the changes, but not all of them properly, so have just gone back to closer to the default settings and removed some of the extra CSS I’d applied in my tests.
This is another small issue and not related to above, but if you look at my progress at the narrow size:
http://responsivedesignsimulator.com/?http://www.jelfon.com/nr1/TOP PHONE / EMAIL – How to move it down on the smallest view.
The top phone number and email is too close to the top of the browser, so can you help me move it down a little bit in the narrow view so on an iPhone for example, I’d like to move it down just so there’s a bit of room above, even 10px would make it look a lot better. If you can help I’d be very grateful.
Thanks
JoeHi,
I’m hoping someone can take a quick look at this issue I am having with a small snippet of custom CSS. So, in the footer area I have a newsletter signup, and the input text is a dark grey on a black background. It is very difficult to see, so I added this in the quick CSS:
#top .footer_color input[type='text'],input[type='email'] {border-color: #444444; background-color: #333333; color: #aaaaaa;}You can see what I mean here on the bottom of the home page: http://www.mosfoundation.org.
The CSS code is not changing it, I’m pretty sure it’s the CSS I added, but who knows.
Thanks for your help!
Dave
I set up the Simplify CC payment gateway extension with Woocommerce within my Enfold Theme. I can’t get the checkout page to perform as expected. No responses, no error messages. Just looks like it’s processing then it stops right where it started. I tried to verify that it’s an Enfold thing by setting up a test area and minimal shop using the WP2013 theme and the same plug-ins. It seems to work OK that way.
Thanks for having a look.
I have a page I need password protected so I set that up through the WP visibility options. I have deactivated all plugins and when I switch to Twenty Thirteen theme, the password prompt stops me prior to getting to the page and when Enfold is activated, it doesn’t (with nothing else being changed).
Any ideas?
