    HI,
    on my page below I use Lato; for H1 in “light”. Looks nice with most browsers, but not on Safari (H1 text within green bars barely visible).

    I did find this topic: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/safari-font-rendering-too-light/

    But what is in my case the easiest way to solve it?

    Thx a lot and best regards, Tilman

    I have a page that has a recurring–and so far unpredictable–problem with element spacing Avia builder–or so it seems.

    I have a page with the following elements
    -Full width slider enclosed within color section layout element to put graphic behind the slider. This has been working fine.
    -Special heading (Putting THIS in there creates the problem, either within a full width layout element or on its own.)
    -Full width submenu below the color section
    -color section with the rest of the page elements within it.

    The problem arose when I inserted the special heading. It seems to work at first with proper close spacing between the top color section, and the elements below. But then when I reload preview after making some other change there is a huge space between the color section, heading, and submenu. This space stays even if I delete the heading and/or the full width layout element box!
    It’s as if putting in the heading and/or full width layout element inserts something in the code that stays and messes things up even if I delete those elements. But I know VERY little about code so I’m not going to mess with it.

    I have tried emptying my browser cache, signing off and logging in again to WordPress–even restarting my machine. I’ve checked the padding and spacing options for various layout elements where they are adjustable. I’ve tried adding a whitespace separator with negative value, but it has no effect. The page retains this yawning space where it wasn’t before. I’ve also had this problem with several other pages on this site, but not to this degree.
    Has anyone else had this problem?

    Please add following code to Quick CSS

    #top .avia_ajax_form input.button:hover {
        border-width: 2px;
        padding-bottom: 19px;

    Hi there.

    We created a portfolio page on our website and are using the grid element to show the items.

    When you click on another category it does sort the items correctly but the animation is really weird? First it sorts the items and then they sort of fly in there from the top. I’m using a Mac computer and Chrome browser.

    Did anyone have this problem before, is it fixable?

    Hope you can help

    Kind regards

    Hi Yigit,

    yes, Safari only.

    I´ve entered the quick code and deleted all caches.
    The funny thing: using the top menu the logo still is wrong, after reloading the page it is fine.

    Can you have a look at it again?

    Thanks and sorry

    Hi,

    I’m using a fullwidth layout with a 1030px content and added 58px of padding to the top of the full width slider to move it down from the header menu.

    I added the following to the CSS:

    .avia-fullwidth-slider {padding-top:58px}

    But when I did this, a faint grey line became visible on either side of the area above the slider.

    I then tried adding

    * {border:none!important;} and while this removed every other border on the page, the line was still there.

    See: http://screencast.com/t/G3jJZyvuKqf

    I’ve got round it by adding margin-top:

    .avia-fullwidth-slider {margin-top:58px}

    But thought I’d give you guys a shout in case anyone else came across this issue.

    Andy, it is simple!
    You have just to click on a link provided!
    The Enfold site (in stage) is http://www.alessandracolucci.it/enfold/, a subdirectory, you’ve checked the wrong path without /enfold/, I don’t know why.

    Anyway I found this topic: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/problem-with-portfolio-filtering-paging/
    So since 2013 there is that bug and no one at Kriesi support knows about it, and it is not written anything in the guide: it is ridicolous!
    You have to disable the pagination in portfolio if it cannot work!
    But I think the worst thing it is that Kriesi knows about that bug and they said: “That said there’s no “fix” – maybe we’ll add an ajax filter to the theme but we have no concrete plans yet.”.
    To me it’s like buying a car with a car door that does not open and say, ” we could change the zipper, but we are not going to do it, there are other car doors you can use”.

    So you are selling a product that does not work properly and you do not provide any advice about it!
    However the only conclusion I have reached is that I have to write the code by myself and I am sure it will likely work better.

    Regards

    Hi,

    I have a site here: http://superiorfarms.com/ where the top element is a LayerSlider. Slide #2 and #4 show videos. The videos play great until you try and view them on mobile. On mobile the video loads and plays for a couple of seconds before the screen goes black. The sound continues but with no visual.

    Any ideas as to what I did wrong or how to fix?

    Thanks

    Hey!

    Try adding this code to the Quick CSS:

    #top .input-text, #top input[type="text"], #top input[type="input"], #top input[type="password"], #top input[type="email"], #top input[type="number"], #top input[type="url"], #top input[type="tel"], #top input[type="search"], #top input[type="submit"], #top textarea, #top select{
        font-family: "Lora", serif;
    }

    Cheers!

    Hey!

    you can activate mobile menu sooner. Refer to this https://kriesi.at/support/topic/change-width-to-activate-mobile-menu-insteas-of-regular-menu/#post-405849 and adjust max-width value as needed.

    Thanks for the reply Josue,

    I added this code to my css and it fixed the issue:

    .fpmx-button{
    background-color:#37782E;
    color:#fff;
    font-size:19px;
    padding:15px 20px;
     text-align:center;
    position:absolute;
    right:15%;
    top:15px;
    z-index:10000;}

    Hey horse :D,

    I checked again your backend and it looks like this for me:

    View post on imgur.com

    No Enfold Theme appears for me. Also when checking your source code I could not find any Enfold. I used credentials you have provided here. Let me know if I missed anything and then call me a horse as well :D.

    I have with great success implemented the code in functions.php and got a second image in the header.
    Using this guide: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/adding-468-x-60-banner-to-header/
    However I am trying to make the image link, but this causes the site to crash.

    I used this code:

    function after_head_image_func(){
    echo “<div class=’custom_content’></div>”;

    add_action(‘ava_after_main_menu’, ‘after_head_image_func’);

    It is not a http link but a tel: link if that makes any difference.

    Thanks

    Hi!

    I have created a onepage site, but need to have a different mobile version. The problem is that if i redirect my onepage to another site optimized to mobile, the menu is still the same, and will throw the user back to the desktop versjon. Is there a way to make custom menu links for mobile only?
    I have searched for plugins etc, but cant find a way to do this.

    Hey!

    in the post you have mentioned you will find the time delay: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/opt-in-pop-up/#post-530478
    3000 stands for 3 seconds. Adjust it as needed.

    Best regards,
    Andy

    Hey!

    try this code in Quick CSS field to get rid of pace inside your pop-up:

    .html_header_transparency #top .avia-builder-el-0 .container, .html_header_transparency #top .avia-builder-el-0 .slideshow_inner_caption {
    padding-top: 0px;
    }

    Cheers!

    Hi Rikard,

    I mean that

    1) I want to hide the pull-down sub menu.
    2) Also I want to hide the red line under the main navigation.

    To achieve this I was given the following code for another website:

    .sub-menu {
    display: none !important;
    }

    #top .main_menu .menu li.active-parent-item .avia-menu-fx{
    opacity: 1;
    visibility: visible
    }

    However, in that case I was using an Enfold menu. As I explained I am now not a menu creted in Enfold but default menu generated by the hierarchy of the pages.

    So can you please help me hide the pull-down menu and hide the red hightlight/hover line under the main navigation?

    Also please look at my new question
    4) When I choose ‘small separator’ in ‘Separator between menu items’ the small separator doesn’t show.

    Thanx!
    Janneke

    Hello Rikard,

    Actually, I used css code to not show it. Is it possible with another way?

    And how can I display it in the right top of the page ?

    Thank you very much!

    #564462

    Hi!

    1.) are you sure that you did not modify any theme files? cause your social icons in header are behaving weird. There might be some corrupted files, so please delete all theme files completely via FTP, before installing a fresh copy from your themeforest account: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/install-enfold-over-ftp/

    2.) Use this code in Quick CSS field:

    #header_main .noLightbox.social_bookmarks.icon_count_5 {
    top: 15px;
    }

    and adjust as needed.

    3.) Unfortunately Kriesi is very busy, but we will take care to support you. If you are working on a time sensitive project we recommend to hire a freelance developer for this job.

    Cheers!

    In reply to: menu mobile horizontal

    Oh, I know where’s the problem. You must work with a higher resolution so what you are seeing is the desktop version. I want to use the mobile menu even in desktop.
    In lower resolutions the menu is showing like this:

    What I want is when you push the hamburguer button unfold like it does but reduce the menu height and the menu li displayed in horizontal, only for desktop. For mobile it would be the same as usual.
    Sorry for the misunderstanding and thank you very much for all.

    Hi Andy,
    sorry, aber das kanns gar nicht sein.
    – Die Breadcrumbs funktionieren ja – aber in Enfold eben nicht ganz korrekt
    – Die Lösung von Joshue funktioniert – aber eben nicht ganz.

    Hab mich jetzt nochmal selbst nochmal auf die Suche gemacht und bin auch fündig geworden

    in der Datei …enfold/config-events-calendar/config.php
    gibt es die Funktion

    function avia_events_breadcrumb($trail)
    {
    global $avia_config, $wp_query;

    if(is_404() && isset($wp_query) && !empty($wp_query->tribe_is_event))
    {
    $events = __(‘Events’,’avia_framework’); ………………………

    Das Wörtchen Events ist in eurer Sprachdatei nicht übersetzt.

    Also:
    – Notlösung von Joshue und
    – Sprachdatei ergänzen

    dann gehts.

    Vielleicht könnt ihr das Ganze ja in einer kommenden Version von Enfold beheben.

    Gruß
    AL

    Thank you

    These styles work well on desktop, but on mobile, the post column now has lots of padding around it and it’s now roughly half the width of what it used to be. I’m attaching a screenshot (Android, Galaxy S5).

    I see this topic became alive…
    Here is my opinion: yes Yoast Seo Plugin cannot read content of avia layout, but this should resolve the Author of the Yoast plugin. Yoast should be compatible with themes – so let’s contact Yoast to improve their product ;)
