Thanks for your response, Vinay . . . I’m not using any custom styles for these elements. They are totally stock layout and content elements dragged from the builder menu. Also no changes to the heading styles. The only vaguely unusual items are using some spacers with negative values to close up horizontal open spaces between the slider/color section, the heading, and the full width submenu. But the popup options menu for the separator seems to say it’s OK to do that, as it refers to being able to use negative values. But that seems to be the problem area. I insert a separator, program the values, then hit preview and it looks good. But after I actually update the page and look at it again, the whitespace has come back–or even gotten larger. I’ve checked the other adjustable custom margin elements to see if there might be a conflict there, but everything seems OK.

I went back in this morning and managed to get it to look the way I want–but I’m not sure exactly how. The spacer at the very top that I had deleted yesterday, had now re-appeared! So I deleted it again, the preview looked correct and consistent, so I updated the page and called it a day for any more experimentation on this page.

Everything else in the theme has worked flawlessly, as I expected it to when I chose Enfold for it’s large user base and thorough support. I’m wondering now if this might be more a problem with my Firefox browser than it is with the theme or WordPress. I don’t have any screen shots but if it does this again I will make sure to get plenty of them and send to you.

Thanks for your response.
Now I activated the secondary menue, so that the language selector is shown there.
As you can see it pushes the whole content down. This is what we dont want.
Otherwise we have to change all the pictures on top of the page.
Is there a way to display the language-selector (the two flags) in the main header together with the social media-icons? So that we can close the secondary menue again?

One more issue I noticed…the buttons at the bottom of each section are no longer working. They used to hover and be links to other pages and now they do not work at all. They are supposed to work like they do on the current homepage with a hover effect and a link to other pages. Can you please help me fix these and then everything will be working perfectly. These are the buttons that read “Find Out More”

This appears to be just happening on my desktop computer. It appears that the buttons are clickable and hoverable on my iPhone and iPad. It seems to be caused by the code below because if I remove the bottom 2 lines the buttons work fine. Is there any reason why I need these 2 lines as part of the code for this section or can I remove them? Everything seems to be working fine when I remove them but just wanted to check. Thanks in advance!

Hi Andy – I used Google translation for your German :-) Nice to be talented in more than 1 language.

That’s the same computer I have. Glad it’s working on some computers, but that doesn’t fix the issue on others. In that other thread, the fix had been a minimum line depth that would ensure that the double-lined title wouldn’t cause that to happen. https://kriesi.at/support/topic/formatting-irregularity-can-you-see-whats-wrong/

Is there a way of checking if that fix stayed with the Enfold update? I’m not very techy. See private info.

P.S. The concern I have is that when the shortcodes are used in the advanced layout editor, the phone number gets pushed to a second line in the Mayor and City Council sections on the lower part of the page (when on a desktop/laptop screen). When the shortcodes are just in the default editor then it the phone number is on the same line.

Hey Vinay, I can’t thank you enough for all of the help! Everything looks amazing and is working great and almost ready to be put live on my site. Just one small question:

2. I turned the animation off. So for the animation, there is no way to have the special heading, separator, text, and button fade bottom to top but have the overlay not animate? So the special that entire section animates bottom to top like my current homepage without effecting the overlay?

as I have written above , we are standing with all versions up to date !

Please do not be angry , but all the information I have received from you have been already clarified in advance .
I wish that my problem would be taken a little more seriously . After all, I bought a top product and expect better support .
The probelematik there for several days and now cost not only time but also money .
Apparently I’m not alone with this problem . Can someone please once again take care of the issue.
