I set up a website with enfold and first put in only placeholder stock images, which I want to replace now with the purchased ones.
Unfortunately I don’t know in which resolution I should upload these pictures. I use pretty much all of them either as a parallax scrolling background image or in a 2 column layout (so they take a bit less than half of the content width space).Initially I thought I can just throw the pictures in with high resolution and Enfold would create several different image sizes to fit different column sizes or different screen sizes, but I have the impression I’m wrong.
But when I want to insert a picture I cannot select anything like “2 column width”.
To make my confusion even bigger, there is the question of image optimization with plugins like smush or tinypng, and on the other hand deliver retina ready image sizes for retina screens.
Who has an overview on how to deal with this topic best? I would really appreciate any help.

I got a response about this in Themeforest support but the code supplied did not solve the problem.Here is the code supplied:

I’ve supplied a private link to the page in question. I’ve tested in on desktop (chrome) and iphone. Any help or suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks Elliott, I was putting the custom CSS in the wrong area.
Would you mind helping me with the other issue as well? Essentially, I want to be able to center the text in each text box on the slider. It looks centered in the preview mode prior to publishing, but once published, the text starts that the top of the text box, rather than remaining centered.
Can you please help me resolve this? I’ve been at it for a while. Thank you.

Good day. On an iPad Mini, the layout stays the same as it is on a desktop. I want it to change to the way a mobile phone displays the information. I’m not sure how to attach a screenshot to the ticket, so I uploaded screen shots from the iPad Mini to the website and posted the links to them in the private content area below. I am assuming there is some kind of specific width specified somewhere that triggers the layout to change from desktop view to mobile view? Or something else?

I have noticed that once I took the website from local development and placed on server my background image no longer went to the top of the browser behind the main menu. Hi guys,
Thanks as always for being so quick with my previous queries. Hoping there is a solution to this one. I have been working on a “publications library” for our website. I created a page, made a simple image for each topic, and then changed the link settings of the image to pull up a search for a particular tag. For example, if I click on the picture saying Constitutions, it takes me to a page of search results tagged with Constitutions.
The problem is that the page showing the search results has the title of POSTS above it, and I was hoping to be able to get rid of it. Does anybody know how? I am happy to get rid of that title on every page if that’s necessary.
Hope this is clear, and I am happy to provide more details if necessary.

autoplays a video on my iPhone. In fact all the websites they design autoplay a video on the iPhone. So, I thought maybe there was a setting or something that would work with Enfold. We have a problem regarding the 5. grid portfolio layout on our webpage. The problem only occurs in Internet Explorer however. The thing is, when you click on one of the sorting options, instead of showing the right portfolio items, the screen jumps to the top of the page. Then, if you scroll to the portfolio the correct portfolio items is shown, however, the section in which the portfolio sits will not re-scale to the new amount of portfolio items.
Does this make sense?We use Internet Explore version 9.0.8112… , as the only option, for some very specific reason.
I really hope you can help us solve this issue.Our site URL and log-in is in the private section.

I want to be able to build a 1/3 – 2/3 element that has no margins that is not full width, but the width of the main container. The grid row takes the full width and has no margins. The columns allow me to control the top and bottom margins, so I can set that to 0. it doesn’t allow me to control the left margin, which has a default of 6%, causing the space between the 2 columns next to each other.
I simply need some guidance on how to set things using the columns, but removing the left margin on the second column, so I can get the content right next to each other without the spacer of the margin. Please look at the screen shots I included to see exactly what I mean.

Did you put it inside a css media query? Is that a desktop or mobile screenshot? Please adjust the value as needed. The images’ height on desktop view is 72px.
