In reply to: RTL bug with color selection elements
hey andy,
thank you. i admit we had a rather long list of topics with the rtl-mode of the theme.
most seems much more civilized than at the beginning, thanks to you and your wonderful team.
however, things are not completely finished yet.
if you look at the two screenshots, you can see that the vertical centering of the elements got lost in the way.
some of the elements are not following the borders on the right and left, for example at the first picture you see the element in yellow/orange tending towards the left.
could you check this?

I’m seeing a grey shrinking circle on top of the spinning preloader. It only appears if I move between pages but not if I refresh a page.

And I’ve added this custom code to change the preloader but the circle was present before.

Hello,
I have the same issue but with Accordion Slider. If I add “only-desktop” in the color section it works. But the “only-desktop” on the accordion custom CSS dont work. Please help me but i dont want to modify the main theme.

When a user clicks page 2 of the Upcoming Events widget, the whole page is reloaded and the user is returned to the top of the page. Is it possible to just reload the section and remain at that point on the page?

Hi,
The main nav and the logo are overlapping when you decrease the browser size, on desktop when decreasing the browser size and on ipad. My logo is larger then the recommended size. Website in private content area. :)

Recently if faced the same problem like in this thread , that the Content Analyser of YOAST SEO Plugin is incompatible with the Contents build with the Enfold Avia Layout Builder.
In YOAST 3.0 they said, it will fetch all shortcode provided data, but it doesn’t – images or special headings are still not fetched. So i wrote a plugin, which is free to use and might help others facing the same problem like we did.
The Plugin fetches all output content and adds it to the YOAST Content Analysis. Its open source, so feel free to download and try yourself https://github.com/Basbee/wordpress-extended-content-analysis-yoast

I’m using the grid row element to present some charts. The charts have a defined height and as I understand the grid row automatically adapts to that height. That’s fine.
Now I’ve decided to manually change the height of the grid row as it looks nicer when there is more space above and underneath the chart.
I defined this under “Minimum height” within the grid row element.And here comes the problem:
The desktop view is just like expected, but the mobile view shows far too much space around the chart. You have to scroll too much to get to the next content.
How can I solve the problem and have a) more space on the desktop view and b) less space on the mobile version?Thank you very much!

Ich habe versucht beim Grid row Element die Höhe manuell zu verändern. Dazu habe ich die Einstellung “Minimum Height” genutzt. Mein Ziel war es, einer Grafik, die in das Grid reingeladen wurde, mehr Platz oben und unten zu geben. Das hat für die Desktopansicht auch wunderbar funktioniert.
Leider ergab sich dadurch aber in der mobilen Ansicht eine enorme Menge an leerem Raum.
Wie kann ich nun die Desktopansicht mit mehr Platz behalten und trotzdem in der mobilen Ansicht das Ganze straffen?

i just activated the glassy header in Enfold. It looks fine but the background for the top header (where the social icons are) is also transparent.
Is there a way that this header get the normal color from the theme and has no transparency?thanks

This is an interesting topic. Here are my thoughts.
Customer Thoughts: I’m in the same boat as you. However, even as a IT consultant and Microsoft Partner, I have never seen a Windows Phone being used in day-to-day scenarios. To me, you take a risk when you purchase items that make up only 25% of only of a specific market. Hell, even if Windows Phone had 25% of the World Market, that is still a risk. Everyone knows that it’s iPhone or Android these days. I’ve hitched my wagon to Microsoft my entire career…but would not use a Windows Phone if it was given to me as a gift. Regardless, I agree that the Enfold theme should clearly disclose issues of this caliber on Sales materials. All theme vendors should. It would go a long way if Enfold would just be transparent. Enfold support is amazing, but falls short on this particular topic. The evidence of that has been shown in the various threads related to this topic over the years. 1.) On Sales materials, state that Windows Phone (default browser) is not supported with Enfold 2.) In support forum, state something to similar to “Enfold does not support fully-support (list what items are not supported) for the Windows Phone (default browser) at this time. There are/are no/ plans to support this in the future.”
Vendor Thoughts: Disclaimer: I’m not a theme dev, just an IT professional that uses Enfold heavily. Windows Phone is in a big flux right now. Meaning, the platform is trying to phase out IE and bring in Edge. I would think this would cause theme vendors to press pause on any development/support for the current state of the Windows Phones. However, if theme developers could get their hands on a Microsoft Edge/Windows Phone environment, they could be coding and testing to stay ahead of the curve. I don’t even know if this is possible, but it’s a thought. Maybe there is an online sandbox where DEVS can test their code against Microsoft Edge.? If, as a DEV, you need to get your hands on the physical device…that’s a downfall in this day in age.
As a side note, it looks like there is still a fight to get Chrome available on Windows Phones.

AndyHello, i have installed buddypress in my site, and i have located the log in at the top bar menu, but i would like to show it as a button, and if possible, with an icon of a padlock (open/closed depending of the status?). This second petition is not as important as the first one. The main thing is showing it as a button, to atract visitors attention.

Not sure what you mean, because menu items do have unique IDs, as shown in the very first part of the code you have posted:id=”menu-item-5123″As Elliott already explained you can add ID’s via HTML.

I had another look myself at how the sticky fullwidth submenu script works, but as a non-programmer I couldn’t figure it out how to change the top-margin the script gives the container when scrolled up :-(
So any input is more then welcome :)

i also added fallback images for all the videos but when i visit the site on for example an iPhone i can’t click the image and nothing happens.Is this a bug? I am aware of the autoplay restriction on mobiel devices but that isn’t the case here i believe.

you did not follow the instructions from Ismael . Custom CSS class field is still empty. Please put “rtl-section” in it, as he already suggested.
