    Hi!

    no, I don’t think it could be possible easily, as you are already using a background image in this code.

    Best regards,
    Andy

    Hey Oliver!

    Hello there, (1st time post)

    i found several topics on this, but nothing worked for me yet…

    I want to add 2 links in the socket area, see attached picture.

    Site is not public yet, therefore blurred out content:
    The picture is a psd mockup ;-)

    Thanks in advance.

    I am seeing a lot of screen flicker when I hover over an unlinked image on one of the pages on my site. Link to the page with the image is included below. This happens on Windows 10 desktop on the latest version of IE, Chrome and Firefox. Images settings are no link, no caption, no animation. On the iphone 6 with Safari browser, if I click on the image, it disappears. Can you please help?

    I currently have a background image on a ‘color section’. The guy I’m building the site for wants this background to crossfade from one image (black and white), to another (exact same, but in colour), with the content over the top remaining static – so not a slider. Any ideas? This one’s got me stumped.

    Hi!

    Sorry for the late reply!

    Please add following code to Quick CSS as well

    @media only screen and (min-width: 768px) {
    #header_meta {
        margin-top: -30px;
    }
    html_header_top.html_header_topbar_active.html_header_sticky.html_large.html_bottom_nav_header #top #main {
        padding-top: 168px;
    }}

    Hey!

    Please add following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under General Styling tab

    #top #header .av-main-nav > li > a {
        background-color: transparent;
    }

    Please make sure that > sign is not converted to – http://i.imgur.com/IDXRZQ3.png in Quick CSS field.

    And then please refer to Josue’s post here – https://kriesi.at/support/topic/glassy-transparent-header/#post-310605

    Thanks for assisting. I followed your instructions but the custom.css is still not loading – instead it appears as raw code at the top of every page. Please advise.

    Hi

    My homepage has a fullscreen slider, and I have two buttons that look OK on the desktop, but on mobile (for example iPhone 5S sized screen) the buttons aren’t aligned nicely.

    Is there a solution that will align Button 1 and Button 2 centrally on mobile?

    I did search the forums for a suction first, but couldn’t find one :-)

    It would also be nice if I can adjust the padding to the left of Button 1 on desktop to align it with the caption text (for example, align the border with the start of the caption).

    My site is here:

    http://www.johncompiani.co.uk

    Thanks…

    I’m using the secondary menu on top of the page. On mobile view there is too much space between the menu-items. How can I decrease the space between the items? So all the items keep on one line?
    Thank you

    Hi,

    I have added some bottom padding to H3 text – this works on desktop view ok.

    On both tablet and mobile the padding seems to get reduced to 0… however if i look at the code in dev tools the padding is there (on the element style) but has to be increased to make a difference, or set to none..

    So with padding at 50px on the h3… it will not show any padding on mobile / tablet unless i increase through dev tools to 65px or higher? An example page can be seen here:

    smc-meljac.co.uk/smcwp/meljacoverview/

    Is there a way to adjust this for mobile / tablet view so padding is shown below the h3?

    I was trying to use something along the lines of the following but no joy and seems a bit crazy?

    @media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {
    .padding-bottom:50px; { padding-bottom: 70px !important;
    }

    Can you help me?

    That’s really weird, I have tried to clear cache and refreshed several times and still see the same thing with a clipped off top of the hat. Can’t argue with what you see though from your screen shot. Guess I’ll have to live with knowing that others see something other than me….

    UPDATE: just checked on a friends iPad and they are seeing the same clipped icon, so it seems you are the only one able to view the icon in total.

    Hi mazeika!

    Thank you for using Enfold.

    Setting the products as featured items doesn’t necessarily mean that they will be prioritize or put on top of other product items in the main shop page. The featured products can be displayed via shortcode. Ex:

    [featured_products per_page="12" columns="4"]

    More info here: https://docs.woothemes.com/document/woocommerce-shortcodes/

    Or use the Woocommerce Products widget. Set the “Show” option to “Featured Products”.

    Ismael

    only problem I have seen now is that on tablet & phone view, the top of the chefs hat icon is still getting clipped off. Looks fine on Desktop view.
    Weird thing is, if I use Developer tool in Chrome or Safari to emulate iPad or iPhone they both show fine on screen, but if I use an actual device the icon shows as clipped at the top. Any ideas?
    Also, how to I reduce the padding either side of the icon? There appears to be some invisible vertical line or something either side. I would Ideally like the separator lines either side of the icon to extend closer toward the icon, like the others I have on the page.

    I am making custom HTML/CSS code for the page in text editor. Everything goes well except Enfold inserts paragraphs around code comments. So <!-- some comment-->My custom code<!-- end of some comment--> becomes <p><!-- some comment-->My custom code<!-- end of some comment--></p>. How can I change that behaviour in child theme?

    I tried to remove wpautop, but it did not worked.

    Thank you Vinay – definitely you made some good progress!

    The positioning of the Sotheby’s logo looks great when page is first loaded before scrolling begins, so great progress. The mobile menu looked great until I changed “Marin Real Estate” to “Marin Luxury Homes” and now it’s wrapping on the mobile version. Is it possible for that to fit on the one line?

    However: When the user begins scrolling the page, two issues:
    a. Sotheby’s logo doesn’t get smaller like the logo on the left (TH logo).. can it behave the same as that logo? That logo fits nicely between the two bars that frame “Thomas Henthorne” on top and bottom.
    b. Sotheby’s logo doesn’t seem to respond to re-sizing when I change pixel height in the text widget. Ideally it would be same size as “TH” and then resize as user scrolls down. I am also wondering if it could link to a site like the other logo?
    c. When user scrolls down, the FAQ & Contact on the main menu run into the “Marin Luxury Property Specialist” and they stop working.

    Idea: Is it possible to create an additional text box / widget to the right of the “TH” logo — for a “header 2” text widget? I am wondering if we move the Thomas Henthorne text box over next to the TH logo we can fix the problem (c) above? It would be great to be able to fit 2-3 lines of more closely spaced text, so the header looks something like this:
    sample header for vinay

    I am sorry this is so difficult… I have spent more time on this header than configuring the rest of the site, I think!

    Your help is much appreciated,
    Rob

    Yes it works fine on desktop, I never asked you to test that. I’m specifically talking about iPhone 5s and iPad 3rd Gen.
    It’s the latest WordPress and Enfold.

    I’ll test plugins now.

    #594821

    Hey!

    The button in the below screenshot is links to homepage

    We tested on Chrome, FF and IE. on windows desktop, and portable android mobile and tablet it works fine.

    We are here to help resolve your issues and we seek your kind co-operation to resolve it.

    i will ask one of my team members with an iPhone to check it and let you know…

    it’s possible that a 3rd party plugin is causing this issue to find the plugin in conflict please follow the below steps

    1. Goto plugins page > Deactivate all active Plugins
    2. Updated WordPress and Enfold to latest version if you have not.
    3. Activate one plugin at a time… refresh the page and check for the issue.
    4. Make sure the plugins are all updated

    Hi,

    Could you try putting the header on top of the selector instead? If that doesn’t work then please post admin login details in private and we’ll have a closer look.
