Hey Alexander,
Please try adding this code to the Quick CSS section under Enfold > General Styling or to your child themes style.css file:
#top #searchsubmit, .ajax_load {
height: 44px;
}
Best regards,
Yigit
Hey edendesign,
Please edit your page and add 1/1 column element to the top of your page and update your page, then delete that empty 1/1 column element and update your page once again and that should help with that small glitch.

Yigit
Hi,
Please firstly try displaying mobile menu on desktop by referring to this thread – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/switching-to-mobile-menu-on-higher-resolutions/
Then post the link to your website so we can see what we can do
However, please note that we might not be able to help you with the whole process, as Basilis mentioned, such customization would be out of the scope of our support.
Best regards,
Yigit

Hi,
Can anyone help me to show username with the link to my account page instead of links which is shown when user not logged in?

Many thanks.
Hi eonxl!
Please add following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under General Styling tab
.html_header_top.html_logo_center .logo {
left: 0;
-webkit-transform: none;
-ms-transform: none;
transform: none;
}
It seems like you are currently inserting your logo in 1030x206px. Please reupload it in full size :)
Regards,
Yigit
Hey!
I closed the previous thread after reading
Just letting you know, I update the theme. No difference.
Anyway, you can close this thread. Thanks
Sorry if that was a misunderstanding. I adjusted your custom CSS code in Quick CSS field and checked your website on desktop, tablet and mobile screensizes and widget does look fine on my end. Please review your website now

Hi!
I use an image as the background in a colour section, and if I don’t add much else into the section, the image becomes really small (vertically). Even if I set the % to 75 for example, or the pixels to the image hight, it won’t work well. What can I do about this? Would it be better to add a fullwidth image with some text on top if I’d like that? How could I best go about that?
Thanks!
Welmoed
PS. Playing with it now, so it might look different when you look at it than it does now, but it’s about this page: (see private content).
Hi!
You can try enabling zooming on mobile by referring to Ismael’s post here – https://kriesi.at/support/topic/urgent-responsives-webdesign/#post-459171
Cheers!

Hi!
I have an image as the background in a colour section. The items that I add to that same colour section seem to vertically sit pretty randomly on top of the background image. Is there a way to tell these items to sit towards the bottom of the background image for example?
Andy,
Sorry, I am not trying to gang issues. I just want to make sure there is not conflict in the issues.
I have put the code you suggested back in and you can go see what it looks like on a desktop and mobile.
On mobile the Mobile menu is no not visible on sub-pages. There is just the large grey area.
Hi. We are using your enfold theme for our local newspaper’s site, and I want my logo to display as a banner at full size across the entire top of my site, but for some reason it is being shrunk when it displays and not showing full size. What am I doing wrong?
You can view the website at http://ericwaustin.com/wptest/ (this is still on my development server).
The graphic I’m using for the banner is a 1250×250 jpeg and my header size is set at 250 px.
Thanks for the help!

My website is:
aiynetwork.org
I’m not sure what caused it but suddenly all the photos won’t load on the site. Any idea why this could happen?
I’d like to have images with zero border (flush left and top of surrounding content). I can’t use the fullwidth slider for a single image, nor can I use a color background since it is fullwidth for the entire page and not just the main content are on a page with a sidebar. I also tried editing styles for things like…
.page-id-43 div.template-page .content .av-content-small .units { margin:0px !important; padding:0px !important; width:100%; }
… but that (being one of a dozen or so similar attempts) didn’t work. Please let me know if this is possible!
Thanks
thanks. i just edited the file — removed the code your guy added that brought our site down. i know stuff happens, but drag he didn’t tell someone before leaving that he brought our site down and to keep an eye out. so my original question stays – why aren’t sliders working after upgrade on wp? but i’m hesitant to give access to the site again. maybe i should just buy another theme? PROBLEM THREAD is this https://kriesi.at/support/topic/sliders-not-working-5/#post-641683

I’m having difficulty making the mobile menu work on my iPhone (it functions properly on my iPad).
I am getting both an open menu at the top of the page and then menu links floating on top of my page. Details are in the Private Content Area.
Can you let me know what is going on and how to correct?
Thanks
Maybe i didn’t explain correctly what we need to do here.
The featured image of our posts is not always the same size for every post. So we are not after a unique and strict size for the featured images inside the single post page.
As explained, when i see the posts as part of the blog page ie. 3 in a coloumn, the featured images of the posts, look exactly the way we need ie. no matter how tall or wide they are, they always adopt and without getting cropped fit naturally. The problem is inside the post, in the single post page, where, the same featured image that looked fine before, now gets resized and positioned in a very weird manner.
I understand that when in single post page, the featured image behaves as thumbnail so it has to follow some attributes. But when i tried to set a size as you suggested using the plugin above, the outcome is again not the same as in the blog view of the posts and definitely not the desired; (obviously it has to do with the fact that not all images are the same size – so not a universal rule could apply).
What we just need to do for them is to make them fit naturally inside the top of the post – as it already happens when we are looking at the them as part of the blog page.
Is there a way of doing that?
thnx

Hi, I did not find a working css-code for this problem. I do not want the Masonry-Galery-Pictures to have any opacity. So I inserted this code in the Quick-CSS:
#top .av-caption-style-overlay a.av-masonry-item-with-image .av-inner-masonry-content {
background: rgba(0,0,0,1.0);
}
It did not work. Could you please post the css-code I have to insert?
Thank you :-)
The WPML multilangua CMS plugin I purchased broke my site and I had to use a backup of my site ti get it up again. I wonder if there is anything I can do to avoid whatever issue it caused. The polylang plugin seemed to only allow one language translation and the MultilingualPress wanted to created multiple versions of posts rather than just translate the site to a selected language so those didn’t serve my needs. I just want a pulldown that gives every language as an option and which can appear in the header. the prisna.net google translator was ok except that it didnt work for my clients older desktop computer and for all mobile phone viewers, it got cut off. The columns of languages were to wide for the screen. Maybe there is a fix for that. But since i paid for WPML, I’d like to try fixing that instead. The site currently has the prisna.net plugin and I won’t try installing the WPML again since I restored the site until I back up the database manually so I dont lose todays work. But I have no reason to think it wont break the site again since nothing will be different. ALso, there will still likely be the issue with the prisna.net leaving text in the header area after I deactivate or delete it with all related files. So that’s two issues I need help with. Let me know if should recreate a login. I haven’t heard back about the first issue yet (text left by Prisna.net in header).. As far as plugins, after restore I see the WPML plugin is there but deactivated. It was supposed to restore to a time before i installed it. SO I guess it doesnt break the site when deactivated-assuming all the files are there. I only have the prisna.net lugin and the events calendar plugin installed. the theme, wordpress and pugins are all up-to-date. So I’m not sure what I should change before activating the WPML again. I should probably delete it and reinstall it in case files are missing after restore. If you have any suggestions befiore I activate it, let me know. Maybe prisna.net leaves code behind that disrupts the WPML plugin after it’s deleted. Other than those plugins, I only have a godaddy plugin and the ones that came with the wordpress install and enfold. I believe I used the construction demo from enfold on the demo I built before replicating it in another godaddy managed wordpress hosting account.
I’ve recently noticed some weird behavior with using Chrome for our website: onesourcebackground.com
My homepage should show a hero image with a tagline and button linking to another page. Then an arrow guiding visitors down the page to more content. Upon landing on the home page from Chrome, the tagline and button are missing or just the tagline shows. It’s there in Firefox and Safari. I’ve checked this with my Chrome and another team member’s chrome. They are on a PC and I am on a Mac. This team member ALSO has the same issue with our website while viewing in Chrome. And just like me, Firefox is rendering correctly.
I’m also noticing at times if I hover over the navigation on my home page, the text flickers on hover. It’s really weird. I’ve Googled this and I can’t find any reason why Chrome would do this. Everything is up to do date (Chrome, WordPress, Enfold). I’ve cleared my WP cache, cleared Chrome browsing history, etc. I even attempted to create a new Chrome browsing profile per this site: https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/chrome/626aIaLs2Nw
With the new Chrome browsing profile, the tagline and button appear on home page. However, everything still flickers when I mouse over the navigation.
I don’t know if this is something with my site, Enfold capability with Chrome, individual user’s Chrome profile, etc. Looking for any answers/solutions!
I have read this post and similar ones and understand the extra image files that are created by Enfold on image upload, e.g. gallery, featured, masonry etc.
After checking my Uploads directory however I have seen that there are some additional files with these sizes (for an original file size of 2816 x 2112 px):
450 x 450 px
450 x 338 px
120 x 120 px
I’m guessing these files would appear to be created by config-woocommerce/config.php – but I do not have WooCommerce installed and don’t use it.
Why are these extra image files being created on upload – and more to the point, how can I stop this happening (given that I will never use WooCommerce and don’t want to waste disk space on my hosting)?

by the way: if you want the icons to be black on hovering on top-navigation:
#top #wrap_all .social_bookmarks li:hover a {
color: #000 !important;
}
I’ve implemented the new css in the child themes style.css file and it fixed this issue. Thanks!
I am curious how this is the fix though. What was over the displaying over top of the related_posts class that was keeping it from working?
Hello,
I’ve followed the advice of this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-contact-form-not-sending-emails/?login_error
MY email forms are no longer working. Can you please provide a solution?
Hey kaloraat!
We noticed you have a couple of tickets open for the same issue. It will be a lot of work for all of us to work on multiple tickets for one issue and it will slow down the process. Please let us know which ticket you would like us to answer so we can focus on only one ticket and help you resolve this.
I remember working on this issue on this ticket If you wish we can close the rest of the tickets which are related to this issue and focus on this one :)
Let us know…
Cheers!
Vinay
Hey Denis,
Please try adding this code to the Quick CSS section under Enfold > General Styling or to your child theme’s style.css file:
/* line break issue*/
p {
word-wrap: break-word;
}
@media only screen and (max-width: 980px) {
/* Testimonials */
.avia-testimonial-content {
width: 100%;
margin-top: 30px;
}
/* Service */
.avia-icon-list .iconlist_content_wrap {
width: 100%;
padding-top: 20px;
}
/*footer*/
#footer .flex_column {
width: 100% !important;
}}
On the homepage if you use a image as background the browser tries to fill the image and it is expected to cutoff in some screens as the image need to fit both height and width. Instead use an image element inside a colorsection.
Best regards,
Vinay
Hi team enfold,
We have issues with whitespace on mobile. In particular with the sidebar and on single blog posts:
1. Sidebar – we use sidebar on all pages and blogs related to our Investor Relations: http://www.changegroup.dk/investor-relations/ but on mobile the sidebar is at the bottom on the page/blog, but there is to much space between the content and the sidebar.
How can we reduce this?
2. Single blog posts: there is too much space between the top image and the special heading (obs in between the top image and the heading is a code-element with a data). We already use this code to reduce whitespace on mobile, but it seems to only work on pages and not single blog posts:
@media only screen and (max-width: 989px) {
.hr-invisible { display: none; }
}
How can we reduce the whitespace?
Layout of pages:
- Layout element with top image
- Whitespace with -50
- Special Heading
Layout of single blog posts:
- Layout element with top image
- Whitespace with +10
- Code Block with date
- Whitespace with -50
- Special Heading
I am also looking for the same txt file as I’m having problems with this demo import and wanted to try the method mentioned here;
https://kriesi.at/support/topic/importing-didnt-work-4/
but the bit.ly provided in that post does NOT have the txt file for Construction….
