1.) Please use the following css code to resize the font of the headline rotator.
@media only screen and (max-width: 989px) {
/* Add your Mobile Styles here */
#top .av-rotator-container-inner {
font-size: 40px !important;
line-height: 1.3em !important;
}
}
2.) Parallax effects are disabled on mobile devices by default because “fixed” elements are partially supported.
3.) I don’t see any qoute tags in the page, just paragraph tags in a text block. Did you remove it?
Gday enfold forum
I have used enfold for a long time and have noticed the recent v4.0.2 installtion has more predetermined content in the basic installation.
I never load demo content, as it has to be removed, and gets time-consuming, error prone and unneccessary if I can avoid it.
I enjoyed the simplicity of previous installs, where I only had to remove suggested widget content, and one sample page.
But now there seems to be (by default) a home page, about page, a ‘top menu’ and ‘social links menu’, custom items in my ‘recent items’ menu area, multiple images of food and whatnot in the media library.
Is this normal now? That I have to remove even from the base installation, and waste my time?
From what I can tell, I haven’t made any choices that would pre-fill those areas.
If an admin is reviewing this, and if the above is the new default, can I please have an explanation, and hopefully a faster way to get a clean installation?
cheers
Darryl
Hello, I am currently using four columns in my footer. When viewed on mobile, all the columns stack on top of each other. Any way to make it into two columns on mobile only?
I edited your page and clicked on “Screen options” on the top right corner and checked “Custom fields” then scrolled down and changed “header” value from “no” to “yes”. Please review your website now
I set up a contact form and I want to reply to the customer automatically with “Autorespond Text”.
But when I send the form, “Autorespond Text” is emailed to site admin email defined in “Your email address” on top, not the customers email that is defined in the form.
Why? What is the logic of “Autorespond Text”?

Looks like I found another SEO challenge for Enfold users… Even though I configured NO SIDEBAR in Enfold options, I noticed that the sidebar source code (with all my product/pages internal links) was being included in my product page. It wasn’t displaying in the browser though. It seems to be somehow hidden.
How I noticed? I shouldn’t have too many internal links. When I went for link count, I had more than 260 links, even though my product page seemed normal. Checking source code I found out that a Sidebar was being included in the code, but it wasn’t being shown. Since I’m not using a Sidebar, my Sidebar widget elements were empty.
I searched for any known solution over the net but couldn’t find one. Then, reading instructions of parallel (not similar) problems with the Enfold’s Sidebar I decided to try something: I included a TEXT element in the Sidebar Widgets (both of them) with the following content: “Sidebar gone”.
After inserting this text element into the widgets, EVEN WITH NO SIDEBAR OPTION ACTIVATED the source code of the Sidebar changed from many internal links to “Sidebar gone”. My links count went from 260 to 125. Access attached link and search the source code for “Sidebar gone” and you’ll see that the text element is there!
I’m posting to register in case anyone looks for a simple fast solution. You can go on and close the topic!
Best regards!

Thanks, I didn’t see any code that Andy provided but used you method as follows and it didn’t do the trick
#top div .av-dark-form input[type='text'] @media screen and (max-width: 769px) {
border-color: #C59C5F;
border-width: 1px !important;
background-color: #ffffff !important;
}
I had a feeling that mobile width media query wouldn’t work since the Email field is the only one being affected. All of the other Text Input fields on the are following the styling correctly except email. Have used Firebug to look at the source and can’t find way to fix it.
I have activated the mobile menu in header settings for browser width below 990 px but it still displays as the desktop top menu when I turn the ipad to portrait mode. Please advise.
the funny thing is: This was a topic at “Google Webmaster Hangout” and Johannes Mueller from Google himself gives the right answer about that topic.
The questions were:
“Hallo. Was mich schon lange interessiert: Viele WordPress-Themes benutzen vordefinierte H-Tags. Beispielsweise im Logo (warum auch immer- ist ein Bild), für den Seitentitel oder gar für die Breadcrumbs mit einem Wort oder zwei. Im Footer geht es dann weiter mit H3-Tags für Kontakt usw. Sollten die Theme-Entwickler nicht den Benutzern die Chance lassen, ihr einziges & einzigartiges H-Tag im Body & Content zu benutzen? Sollten die Entwickler nicht eher eine eigene Klasse definieren? Vielen Dank”
At 40:11 comes the answer:
Johannes said: “The headings comes as defined and a big impact is not expected.”
In other words: There is an impact. Since every little thing counts for seo & ranking (all other do this right like MOZ etc), every user should take every small impact. Today, i have in Enfold in a normal way one H1-tags and three H3 Tags on a empty fresh page with a three-row-footer. A Empty page filled with content, which i dont want declare as “important” like page title (title is always defined as tag— needs no h1-tag) or “Contact” or “Route” in the footer as H3-tag.
Furthermore:
“If johannes would take the job as developer, he would do it with sense in a clean way and with a clean structure on a website”
“Developer, where use this way, have no big trouble or impact in rankings… google will take all what comes”
What does it mean with “no big” impact?. A small impact? And what is the sense to put a breadcrumb with small fonts inside a h1-tag? It’s without sense. It’s taken from Yoast’s answer, X years old….
Now, you can decide, which guys answer are right? Johann from Google or Yoast?
The same is valid for the logo: A logo image inside a strong tag? What is the sense of this way?
I’m experiencing problems with my mobile sticky header. It doesn’t “occupy” any space thus overlaps with content.
Also, when I click the mobile menu, the logo shifts a little.
I’d also like to know how to change the width at which header changes from desktop to mobile.
The padding on our plans page is inconsistent on different screens- some of them it shows a huge gap between Self-Service Plans (special header) and the pricing grid (table). How can I adjust so that it is consistent across desktop screens? Not happening on mobile.
Sorry but I forgot to say one thing :
Like you will see, on my home page, the masonry appears IN the color section just on top of it, but it shouldn’t be the case because in the Avia builder on my back office, this masonry is outside the color sections !
That is the reason why is doesn’t display in fullwidth but I don’t know what to do… :-(
Currently, you show the post meta data in a certain way (like “by John / 7th April / 3 comments / In Category ABC”). I would like to change that to something else altogether. e.g. “John posted this on 7th April in category ABC”.
Similarly, for tags you print “Tags: A, B, C”. I would like to change that to “Post has been tagged with A, B, C”. Also, I would like to print that right after the post meta data at the top and not at the end of the post.
In other themes I used to do that using filters and actions provided by those themes. How do I do that with yours?
I have found some entries to create a shortcode for a breadcrumb. I have tried to add a code in my child functions.php file, but I had shot down the system with this step. Repairing was only possible via FTP.
