    Having been unable to update automatically, and on completion of the FTP update, I now have a very large blue block at the top of the page at https://www.geegeez.co.uk, and the following error message at the bottom:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined method AviaHelper::av_print_mobile_sizes() in /home/geegeezc/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/functions-enfold.php on line 1858

    We have a custom login link that goes in our main menu, and is coded in functions.php in the child theme. I’ve had to remove that temporarily and added a menu link to /wp-login.php. This is obviously a very unsatisfactory workaround.

    Help please,
    Matt

    Hi.

    I’m hoping you could help me out.
    I would like to add (embed) the PredictWind Life Tracker to our site http://www.lennys-lap.com

    I’ve got instructions from PredictWind, but I can’t work it out where to put the HTML and where the CSS… (i’m not a coder)
    ——–this is what I got:——–
    “I am not an expert either on this type of thing, below are the instructions we have on file for inserting the tracking link into your website/blog.
    Please see the Codepen example at http://codepen.io/anon/pen/BoPbXp with a few options of how you can add the iframe.
    You can use a simple iframe embed, the styled one (no border and specific sizes), or a responsive one, that will scale up and down for mobile/desktop:
    Please paste any of these options into the WordPress editor (click on the ‘html’ tab at the top of the wysiwig editor).”
    ————————————-
    and then if this is done, where do I need to add our personalised tracking number?

    If someone could help out that I’d really appreciate it! :)

    THANK YOU
    Yvonne

    Hi Jason E,

    I just replied to your topic, should we stick to that for you problems?

    Best regards,

    Hi,

    Please try this instead:

    @media only screen and (min-width: 768px) {
    header:not(.header_scrolled) ul.sub-menu{
    margin-left:18%!important;
    margin-top:-50%!important;
    }
    header.header-scrolled ul.sub-menu {
    margin-left:18%!important;
    margin-top:-18px !important;
    }
    }

    Hello,

    I use Easy Slider, on desktop version of my website controls (left & right arrow) display okay however, on mobile they don’t.

    Three questions related to Easy Slider:

    1) How can I show (left & right arrow) on mobile version. (by default it is not there)
    2) How can I force portrait images on mobile to have fixed height of 380px?
    3) Could portrait images be auto-resized to 380px height with black bars on the sides
    or I have to manually resize and upload images with correct height?

    Login Credentials in Private.
    Thanks in advance!

    Thanks Yigit
    I’ve checked all those post points. Have cleared cache and that’s resolved all issues except one:
    I’ve got this code in Quick CSS to stop the standard menu bar menu items overlapping with the logo when reducing browser width…

    ———————————————————————————–
    @media only screen and (max-width: 1100px) {
    #mobile-advanced, #advanced_menu_toggle, #advanced_menu_hide { display: block; }
    nav.main_menu { display: none; }}
    #wrap_all {
    position: relative !important;
    }
    ———————————————————————————–
    It seems to work OK except that when reducing browser width to the point where the standard menu disappears, there is a about 200px of further width before the hamburger menu displays. Is there any code tweak I need to do to display the hamburger menu as soon as the standard menu disappears?

    Thanks

    Hi,

    Thank you for the clarification.

    You need to hide the whole mega menu container. Please add the following css code inside the desktop media query.

    .avia_mega_div {
        display: none !important;
    }

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi,

    The “back to top” button is hidden on mobile devices by default because tapping at the top edge of the screen will take you back at the top of the page. Anyway, if you want to enable the button, please add the following css code.

    @media only screen and (max-width: 989px) {
        .responsive #scroll-top-link {
           display: block !important;
       }
    }

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi, this issue is not easy to describe for me:
    We use wpml for German / English
    We experience problems with tabbed content. It is not possible to make changes. Example: You can open up “Special heading” but you can’t save your changes. But you can’t make any changes at all on no element. It is not possible to move new elements inside the tab container or copy elements or delete.
    I found this thread on your forum. Maybe there is a connection:

    I used the workaround as described in the other post. When I create a new page and load the template, everything seems fine. When I make my first changes on the tab, the problem reappears. Or when I create a translated version of the page.
    Need assistance asap. Thank you.

    Topic: Color Section HELP!

    in forum Enfold

    Hello, Trying to replicate what I see here: WWE Event the Dark Grey Area, I decided to use the Color Section as I thought it would be easy to use and fix to complete task…. Well I got all the sections in there but the bar is totally messed up. As the grey goes “Full Width” and would just like to have it go picture width. I got it once but when I tried in different resolution sizes it was not right so I had to scrap it and hope that you guys could come up with a solution that could help out?

    Image In this image where the Red border is, is where I WOULD like it the grey to stop and I could figure out how to fit in all the info in there!!!!

    The URL I am currently working on is:
    http://www.littlemissbliss.net/alexa/alexa-bliss-tickets/wwe-raw-brooklyn-tickets/

    Sent you Login Info so maybe you can give it a try…

    Thanks

    Hey spottydog63,

    Please try adding this code to the Quick CSS section under Enfold > General Styling or to your child theme’s style.css file:

    .html_header_top.html_bottom_nav_header #header_main_alternate .main_menu ul:first-child {
        width: auto;
    }

    Best regards,

    Hello!
    I am having issues with the update. In the main (and secondary) menu, before I had some elements hidden on mobile and others hidden in desktop. I was using this quick CSS code and it worked fine until today.

    @media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {
    .hide-on-mobile { display: none !important; }}
    @media only screen and (min-width: 768px) {
    .hide-on-desktop { display: none !important; }}

    Now, with the update, those elements appear in the mobile menu (the code works fine for the desktop version of the site).
    And the social buttons does not appear on the secondary menu on the mobile site.

    How can I solve this problem?

    Thank you.

    Hi,

    Please try adding this code to the Quick CSS section under Enfold > General Styling or to your child theme’s style.css file:

    #footer {
        padding-top: 50px;
        padding-bottom: 50px;
    }

    Best regards,

    In reply to: Media Query problem

    Hey johnmac1967,

    Try to add this css code to fix it:

    @media only screen and (max-width:767px) {
      #advanced_menu_toggle, #advanced_menu_hide {
        top: 133px;
      }
    }

    As for why it’s not showing any changes when you put it in style.css, it’s because of the browser caching, browsers to be more efficient loads the older css file that it has cached, to see the changes you need to clear the browser cache.

    Best regards,
    Nikko

    Hi,

    I changed the code in Quick CSS to following one

    @media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {
    .html_av-overlay-side-classic #top #wrap_all .av-burger-overlay #av-burger-menu-ul li a.dt-only {
    display: none!important;
    }}

    and i gave your links a custom class “dt-only” :)

    Previous mobile menu was completely renewed in this update, therefore previously used CSS selectors for mobile menu would not work in current version. I believe that is the case however the solution i came up with is a pretty solid one too, in my humble opinion :)

    Best regards,
    Yigit

    Hey elctowson,

    Try adding this css code in Quick CSS (located in Enfold > General Styling):

    #top .av-masonry-load-more {
        background: #ebc015;
        color: #fff;
    }

    Hope this helps :)

    If it helps someons [using a transparency header]

    @media only screen and (max-width: 850px) {
    nav.main_menu, .av_header_transparency.av_alternate_logo_active .logo a, .responsive .logo img {
    display:none !important;

    In reply to: slow loading;

    The images you will want to fix, but that’s not the bulk of your issue. Regardless, you don’t want to be using WP Smushit, UNLESS it is the premium version that does lossy compression. The FREE version only gets you so far. I recommend you look at https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-image-compression. Once you install it, you can bulk compress ALL your current images, using lossy compression.

    WP-Optimize is great. You want to continue using it, but it won’t help you much with what you’re currently working on.

    What you really want to start with though, is installing Autoptimize and start with the default settings. After that, you should see a big change in the “Fully Loaded Time”, which is what you really want to look at with GTMetrix. Let’s see how you are doing after and then we can further tweak.

    We can most likely get your site to be at an “A”, across the board. It’s just a matter of how you want (are willing) to get there.

    Feel free to reach out to me directly, if you want. I do WordPress optimization for a living and Enfold is my go-to theme.

    Thanks,
    Ryan

    Hi,

    I checked the demo you provide, but I am not sure we understand exactly what you mean.
    Can you show us with a screenshot please?
    YOu want an element on top of the menu, liek what that site is doing?

    Best regards,
    Basilis

    That code worked great for the desktop sub-menu but now when I look at the mobile hamburger menu it has moved up the sub items there too. How can I get this code above to only affect the desktop view? (and not the hamburger menu)?
