I have the same problem. I can’t drag and drop elements. It just acts like I’m selecting text.
I added the following line near the top of my wp-config.php file:
define(‘CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS’, false);
That did not fix the issue. However, while testing my plugins, I discovered it works when Jetpack is disabled. So, it seems to be a conflict with Jetpack. It’s problematic, as jetpack needs to be configured each time I disable and reenable it.
I have the latest version of the theme and I’m running WP 5.8 and PHP 7.4

Thank you for your patience, our Accordion Toggle Titles are “p” (paragraph) and do not have a built-in option to change the tag.
I’m not sure which solution you saw to change the tag there are probably a couple, but adding the snippet to the child theme functions.php would be the best approach.
You could edit the theme files, but you would lose this modification when you update the theme, depending on the solution you may be able to add it to a code block on the one page for it to only work on that page. If you link to the solution and to your page I could check for you.
Are you not using a child theme? You may find it helpful to use one if you have other customizations in mind.Best regards,
MikeOk, today i copied everything to my local equipment and worked with it. the phenomenon occurs here as well. so it seems to have nothing to do with the webserver and the php version, since i use two different php 7 versions .. any idea?

When loading pages that work and pages where the Avia Page Builder doesn’t work, I get two errors in Console on pages that don’t work….

-It seems this is related to ModSecurity in Apache/htaccess. I have disabled this and it doesn’t solve the issue.

The error also shows up, if all plugins are deactivated… So I had to switch back to ver. 4.8.3
I would like to update to the latest theme version, but I need some advice to get rid of the bit annoying error, pls. :o)
BTW: Even with the latest uptades, the frontend is still working like a charm! :o)

hier siehst du dann auch, dass die Bedingung zum Laden der Scripte und CSS :$condition = ! empty( $avia_config['use_standard_lightbox'] ) && ( 'disabled' != $avia_config['use_standard_lightbox'] );wenn es eben disabled ist, dann wird der Rest auch nicht geladen
Hi,
I have been struggling with editing web pages under the enfold theme on my site for almost a year now. I haven’t contacted you as we had an issue with updating the PHP (now fixed). I have two problems. Firstly the drag and drop (of layout elements, content elements etc) feature of Avia Layout Builder does not work when I am editing a page. It only works for new pages. Once I have stopped and saved a new page… and then come back to it later then the drag and drop feature stops working.
The second way it does not work is that when I edit an existing text box… nine times out of ten I cannot see the existing text…. the box is blank…. even though when I go back to looking at the whole page there is clearly text there. Sometimes when I swap between visual and text modes I can see it but it is quite random.
The website is running on an up to date bitnami software stack on AWS. The other major plugins we use are WooCommerce and the cozmoslabs profile builder and paid membership subscriptions.
Enfold version 4.8.5
PHP version 7.4.15
Wordpress version 5.8Happy to provide credentials etc if you think you can help

When I upgrade one particular website to later versions of Enfold, specific pages will not load, and an email is sent from WordPress to inform there has been a critical error.
That error message is:
Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.
In this case, WordPress caught an error with your theme, Enfold.
First, visit your website (https://www.specialneedsrespite.com.au/) and check for any visible issues. Next, visit the page where the error was caught (https://www.specialneedsrespite.com.au/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php) and check for any visible issues.
*Note: The pages that cause the error are only those that are using the WooCommerce Product Grid Element. eg: https://www.specialneedsrespite.com.au/find-a-carer-or-nurse/carers-nurses-act/. And it is only later versions of Enfold. This has happened since the move from 4.7.6.4 to 4.8 versions.

Thanks for that. The warnings disappear if you select to use the Classic Editor on the main page of the theme options, which I have done for you. If you want to investigate further why they are appearing, then please try downgrading your PHP version to 7.4.x for example.

RikardI have received the same error, “There has been a critical error on this website.” It affects my site that contains LearnDash courses ($2,000 each)–and my users can’t get in. I am running the latest WordPress and the latest updated theme. This error is NEW (folks were in–then I updated and got this error).

I have turned off all but the critical plugins (the actual course), and there is still the same error.
My site already has code snippet Plugin with an existing fix/work around for LearnDash–that addresses a problem with Enfold. I even turned that off and on with no change.

I updated and site had issues so I restored to an earlier time and no luck. Here is what it says when Enfold was active. Your help is very much appreciated. Thank you. If Enfold is activated, the site is not even able to be logged into as SiteGround had to do from their backend.

I tried building up a NEW PAGE with this masonry element and it´s working?I have to show only 3 portfolio categories —> not working
When I show “all” – it´s working!
So I think it could be a “sorting” problem?

I guess I overlooked the importance of removing this from your “source code”, the script I posted removes the links from the DOM so that it is not visible to visitors or search engines.
To remove this completely from the source code look in your child theme\loop-index.phpand remove line 494:

Hi 24pfilms,Thanks for the login details. You are still running an old version of the theme, so it needs to be updated. I’m not sure why your token is not fetching the update, but you can try to install this plugin to see if that helps: https://envato.com/market-plugin/. Also make sure that you update the PHP version on your server, the minimum recommended version for WordPress is currently 7.4. If you can’t get the update working, then please open a new thread and include admin WordPress and FTP login details in private, so that we can update for you. Also please verify that you have backups of the site.
