I have an old version of Enfold that wont work with the latest php updates, 8.0, 8.1. If I were to purchase this Eparallax, would this make my site work in 8.1 as I have built it in the current theme? Or is there an update that will work? I currently have EnfoldVersion: 3.8.5

Thank youTopic: Enfold Theme won't Update
When I try to update the Enfold theme I get the following error:
Download Package URL: Errorcode 403 returned by Envato: Forbidden:

– reason: scope-missing
Download Package URL: A problem occurred accessing your download link. Unable to perform update.
Following Envato package errors occurred:
Enfold – Request for Download URL failed.I am using PHP version 8.0.25 and WordPress version 6.1.1. I have tried turning off all the plugins (all 7 of them) and that did not help.
I keep getting “An error occurred while updating Enfold: Update package not available.
Topic: PHP 8 Error
My hoster wants me to switch to PHP 8.0 or 8.1 for good reasons very soon, because they are updating PHP. However, when I switched to 8.0 or 8.1 I got the following error message:
“Too few arguments to function WP_Widget::__construct(), 0 passed in /home/www/wp.mywebsite.com/wp-includes/class-wp-widget-factory.php on line 61 and at least 2 expected”
This error crashes my website in the frontend and in the backend I cannot sign anymore into WP. So I need to switch back to 7.4 in order to get the system running again.
What’s wrong with WP_Widget::__construct()? Do I need this widget at all? Or could you make it running on PHP 8? WP and all plugins are updated so only this widget seems to crash the system.
I’m running Enfold without a child theme.
Thanks for your support.
My co-worker already opened a ticket about this, please refer to:

AlexHi,
I’m trying to customize the Tab section on a website using the instructions from the Enfold documentation at https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/tab-sections/#toggle-id-1I would like the tab section to appear similar to what is shown on https://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-2017/elements/tab-section/ A screenshot of what I’m trying to achieve can be seen at https://snipboard.io/KrHgwW.jpg
The problem I’m having is when I use the CSS from the Tabs Section documentation (shown below) it doesn’t work for me. I’m using Enfold v 5.3 with PHP 8.0. and only a security plugin is enabled at this time. A link to the page is in the private content. Thank you.

}Topic: Plugins wont activate
Hi guys,
I need your urgent assistance as my clients website has been down now for two weeks and I am really struggling.
The website http://flower.org.za/ first went down when my clients host upgraded the php from 7.4 to 8.0. We struggled to get it back up and the only fix was buying the latest version of the theme and replacing the theme files. I was then able to access the site but could only activate a handful of plugins. There are about 13 plugins still inactive and the primary listings plugin wont activate – I cant even delete these plugins without it giving an error. They all spit out a similair error when trying to activate, below is an example of one of them:
Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error. “Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required
“Warning: require_once(/home/khandafi/public_html/flower.org.za/wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-wp-migration/lib/vendor/bandar/bandar/lib/Bandar.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/khandafi/public_html/flower.org.za/wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-wp-migration/loader.php on line 39”

Please help!
My site has gone from bad to worse over the past week as I’ve been tooling around in the backend and in my host’s File Manager trying to fix errors and my provider updated my PHP. The current mess can be found here: https://actfourscreenplays.com (it used to show a bunch of error messages, now I’m just seeing a blank white screen!)
My provider (asmallorange.com) told me they updated PHP last week to 7.4.32 (https://actfourscreenplays.com/phpinfo.php) but I may have screwed that up by replacing the config.php file today with Enfold’s latest file and deleting the old one?
At this point, unless someone here can offer an easy solution to get my site back online, I’d like to just pay someone to fix it for me. I think re-installing Enfold would be the best first step? I have a link to the Recovery admin page, hopefully you can do that from there.
PLEASE REFER ME TO A PROFESSIONAL asap — I’ve tried to contact Enfold support but they are backlogged. It’s been days now and no reply other than “we’re busy, have patience.”
Thank you!
Hello there,
I’ve come across a PHP Snippet that I am trying to incorporate in my child theme’s functions.php file. My goal is to hide the following section when the user selects the Local Pickup option when checking out:

This is the link to the code that I found, and I’ve attached the code to this post as well.
/** * @snippet Hide Shipping Fields for Local Pickup * @how-to Get CustomizeWoo.com FREE * @sourcecode https://businessbloomer.com/?p=72660 * @author Rodolfo Melogli * @testedwith WooCommerce 3.5.7 * @donate $9 https://businessbloomer.com/bloomer-armada/ */ add_action( 'woocommerce_after_checkout_form', 'bbloomer_disable_shipping_local_pickup' ); function bbloomer_disable_shipping_local_pickup( $available_gateways ) { // Part 1: Hide shipping based on the static choice @ Cart // Note: "#customer_details .col-2" strictly depends on your theme $chosen_methods = WC()->session->get( 'chosen_shipping_methods' ); $chosen_shipping = $chosen_methods[0]; if ( 0 === strpos( $chosen_shipping, 'local_pickup' ) ) { ?> <script type="text/javascript"> jQuery('#customer_details .col-2').fadeOut(); </script> <?php } // Part 2: Hide shipping based on the dynamic choice @ Checkout // Note: "#customer_details .col-2" strictly depends on your theme ?> <script type="text/javascript"> jQuery('form.checkout').on('change','input[name^="shipping_method"]',function() { var val = jQuery( this ).val(); if (val.match("^local_pickup")) { jQuery('#customer_details .col-2').fadeOut(); } else { jQuery('#customer_details .col-2').fadeIn(); } }); </script> <?php }I’m assuming that
'#customer_details .col-2'from the included PHP snippet above needs to be changed to something likewoocommerce-shipping-destinationand"woocommerce-shipping-calculator"Any help is appreciated, thanks very much!
Hello dear Supporters,
after seven years using Enfold, we need to upgrade PHP to 8.0 or 8.1.
We use woocommerce and a child theme. After switching PHP to higher than 7.4, the site shows in front- and backend a fatal error and we have to to roll back to access the backend again.
I deleted the child theme´s function.php and disabled all plugins: it works well on PHP 8.0 and 8.1
Once I enable woocommerce and nothing else, it already shows the same error.
Theme is on 5.2.1
WP is on 6.1.1
Woocommerce is on 7.1.1
We are on a nginx environment.
Could you please help us, since PHP7.4 is running out, as you know, Thank you in advance.
GunnarHi Team Enfold,
I had created a Woo Commerce store for layout purposes, but had to delete the plugin again for legal reasons. Now I wanted to install the plugin again and now I get the following error message in the WordPress backend: “Fatal error: Only variables can be passed by reference in /home/www/kamieth/layout-keinstuhl/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/class-wc-download-handler.php on line 559”. The plugin fails to do its job …
Fyi: The theme, WordPress and plugins are up to date – I also tried installing the WooCommerce plugin without any other plugins. The web server is set to PHP 8.0.25 – however, Enfold shows me under Theme Options -> Theme Update: “Your PHP version: 7.4.33”. Is there a solution for this? Thanks for your efforts!
Best regards
LutzTopic: Updating from 4.7.3 to 5.2.1
Good day
I have sent all the files from the newest Enfold version via FTP to the server.
Well after that an error message occurs when I start the website.
see belowWarning: require_once(includes/helper-privacy.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/divesoc1/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/functions.php on line 185
Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘includes/helper-privacy.php’ (include_path=’.:/opt/alt/php74/usr/share/pear’) in /home/divesoc1/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/functions.php on line 185
anyone could tell me what I do need to change?
Thank youTopic: PHP 8
Aloha,
I am running WPEngine, with WordPress 6.1, PHP 7, Enfold Version: 4.6.3.1. When I move to PHP 8.0, the website crashes and I get these errors:
WordPress caught an error with your theme, Enfold. A plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site.
Error: This theme failed to load properly and was paused within the admin backend.
And…
The page where the error was caught is /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php. Unfortunately the current Enfold theme throws a vulnerability error, so I really need to update PHP. Enfold Theme < 4.8.4 – Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS).
Any ideas how can I move forward and fix this?
How do I update Enfold via ZIP file? – will this solve my problem?
Thanks.
