    I’ve got Enfold installed and have a really large menu on it (looking at about 70+ items). Its been working great until today when I added a new menu item and the whole front end menu broke.
    Instead of dropdowns, the menu now just lists all items out in a random order, which covers the entire page.
    The admin menu page also now comes up with that ‘page is unresponsive’ popup in chrome asking if i want to kill the page or wait.

    I thought it may be a css problem, but i can’t see why as all other css seems to be working.
    Next thought is a php memory problem, but i deleted a few menu items and its still broken.

    Any thoughts/help would be great.
    If i can increase php memory, should it fix the front end? I’m submitting a ticket to the server guys to do that right now too, but need to make sure that’s the right call.

    Thanks!!

    I will relay the information you given me so far to my hosting support and see if this helps them pinpoint the problem.

    Ismael, They are 2 completely different themes. One is your Enfold and the other is called Vellum. If I open the sites in the other order. Opening first your Enfold and then the site with vellum I get this error for Vellum site that is similar but not exactly the same

    Warning: session_start(): open(/tmp/sess_c80834bad8986f5fa720604a9e294d8d, O_RDWR) failed: Permission denied (13) in /home/locatesy/public_html/dev/wp-content/themes/parallelus-vellum/extensions/contact-fields/inc/functions.php on line 3

    Hi
    I am trying to remove the dates from search results.
    Site: http://www.islandtyres.com.au/777/?s=king
    I have been looking through the search.php file and cannot see how to do this.

    Could anyone help me with this.

    Thankyou

    I just did the update through the WP dashboard and now my site give the following error:
    Fatal error: Call to undefined function avia_get_option() in /nfs/c09/h02/mnt/131270/domains/3foldfitness.com/html/wp-content/themes/enfold/index.php on line 15

    Suggestions?
    Thanks!

    The content in custom.css and the code they want me to insert is the exact same.

    I deleted the enfold folder from my FTP, and reinstalled it via wordpress, it recognizes the theme as version 2.8.
    I run into another issue though when I try to switch to my child theme, which shows this:

    Fatal error: Cannot redeclare avia_bbpress_deregister_default_assets() in /nas/wp/www/staging/hackjacket/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-bbpress/config.php on line 19

    http://gyazo.com/9bf82c5526e0c3f7ca7e6f4df27991bc (just a picture of above code if necessary)

    Any idea how to fix this? I don’t use BBPress at all, nor will I ever. Would deleting the folder possibly fix this? or is there another fix?

    Thanks for your help!!

    EDIT: Tried to delete the folder config-bbpress since we don’t use the plugin, it created more issues. Reinstalled it
    EDIT 2: With this issue, you cannot access the wp-admin section of the site either.

    These are the errors:

    Warning: session_start(): open(/tmp/sess_08283c07860eed9fb2c1f92bfe7a0bf9, O_RDWR) failed: Permission denied (13) in /home/coobom/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/masonry_entries.php on line 33

    This is what is happening. I have about 6 new WordPress sites made over the past 2 months. Some use templates made by the same creator others are from completely different creators yet all have the same issue. I only have one site right now using your enfold template but it is having same issues when used on the same server with there other sites. Errors only occurs when you open more than 1 of the wordpress sites on my server on a single browser. So the first will be fine but the second will display the error. If you completely shut down your browser and open them in the other order, the other will then have the error.

    Another topic here with similar php error issue was given this advice

    “Please ask your host. You should have space in your /tmp directory, and with the correct permissions. If you don’t know anything about it please contact your hosting support.”

    I did that and hosting support said

    “The /tmp directory on the server is not full, and has correct permissions as you can see from this output:”

    root@host [~]# stat /tmp
    File: `/tmp’

    Hi!

    Thank you for using the theme.

    Related posts are set for posts with the same post tags. You’ll need to add the same tags for posts if you want the related post section to show. If you want, you can set the related section to show by category instead of tags. Edit includes > related-posts.php, find this code on line 71:

    $my_query = get_posts(
                                array(
                                    'tag__in' => $tag_ids,
                                    'post_type' => get_post_type($this_id),
                                    'showposts'=>$postcount, 'ignore_sticky_posts'=>1,
                                    'orderby'=>'rand',
                                    'post__not_in' => array($this_id))
                                );

    Replace it with:

    $cat_ids = array();
    		$categories = get_the_category($this_id);

    		if($categories)
    		{
    			foreach($categories as $category)
    			{
    				$cat_ids[] = $category->term_id;
    			}
    		}

            $my_query = get_posts(
    		array(
    			'tag__in' => $tag_ids,
    			'category__in' => $cat_ids,
    			'post_type' => get_post_type($this_id),
    			'showposts'=>$postcount, 'ignore_sticky_posts'=>1,
    			'orderby'=>'rand',
    			'post__not_in' => array($this_id))
    		);

    Best regards,

    Hi!

    Put this code at the end of your theme functions.php file:

    function add_donate_link(){
    	?>
    		<a class="custom_content" href="PUT LINK HERE"></a>
    	<?php
    }
    add_filter('ava_after_main_menu', 'add_donate_link');

    And add this to the Quick CSS:

    div.custom_content {
        position: absolute;
        right: 20px;
        width: 170px;
        height: 40px;
        display: block;
    }

    Cheers!

    Gday Enfold

    After upgrading to v2.7.1 with Modern Tribe Event calendar Pro 3.5.2 the Event details get a 404. When the theme is switched to TwentyFourteen, the event single page data is visible again.

    This makes me think it’s to do with Enfold in some way…have you guys had anyone else with the problem (I couldn’t see any recent entries in the forum).

    As per an old forum post I saw from Sept last year, I also increased my php ini memory limit way up to 256 and no difference.

    Any ideas?

    You can see the effect at http://www.turabeachcountryclub.com.au/events . If you choose an event you will get a 404

    Thanks for any help you can offer me. Much appreciated.

    cheers

    Darryl

    Hi!

    You have to set the image as a Featured Image here:

    Hi!

    Ok, I installed Slider Revolution on a test site running Enfold 2.7.

    I then configured my Slider Settings to match your image dimensions on your page: http://soapmarine.com/boccamoka/fullscreen/

    Here is how I set them:
    Title: Whatever you want
    Alias: Whatever you want
    Source Type: Gallery
    Slider Layout: Full Screen
    Min. Fullscreen Height: Left Blank
    FullScreen Align: OFF
    Force Full Width: OFF

    Full Screen Slider Checked.
    Grid Settings – Grid Width: 1490 (your image width) Grid Height: 768 (your image height). I didn’t add (px) to the end of the numbers.

    I left most settings on the right side default. I did change:
    Appearance –
    Shadow Type: No Shadow
    Show Timer Line : Hide

    Navigation –
    Navigation Type: None
    The rest as default

    I then saved my slider settings and created my slide. I used your background image of 1490 x 768 which took up the whole background area of my newly created slider, I then added your overlay text image as an image layer.

    I then wanted to put it on a page, and do so without editing a php template.. so here is what I did:

    I created new page, my settings were:
    Template: Default Template
    Layout: No Sidebar
    Title Bar Settings: Hide both
    Activate Header Transparency: Transparent Header
    Footer Settings: Don’t display the socket & footer

    After I had my page set up I loaded up the Advanced Layout Editor, I then added a “Color Section” layout element. Within that “Color Section” I added a text block. In The text block I had a choice in the top right corner for “visual” or “Text”. I chose text. I then inserted my Revolution Slider Shortcode that looked like this: [rev_slider name-of-slider-alias]

    This is probably where you got to.

    The next thing I did was view the front page, and my site looked the same as yours.. it was confined to the container.
    So Then I viewed the source code to find the body page id for the page. In your case on the page you linked to: http://soapmarine.com/boccamoka/fullscreen/ has this as it’s body class: page-id-104

    Each page in WordPress, depending on how the theme is coded will have it’s page id in the body class.. thankfully Enfold does.. which means I could then change a couple of lines of CSS based on that single page.. and get the Slider Revolution to go full screen and width.

    So, I added these lines of code. You can add them to your child theme, or to the custom.css file within enfold itself, or even to the quick css under Enfold / General. So based on your site using the link above and the body class I mentioned..

    body.page-id-104 .container {width: 100%!important; margin: 0 auto;}
    body.page-id-104 #header_main {max-width:1030px; margin: 0 auto;}
    body.page-id-104 .content {padding-top: 0px!important; padding-bottom: 0px!important; margin-top: -2px!important;}

    The first line of CSS, changes the container width to 100% instead of 1030px;
    The Second Line of CSS, makes the header go back to it’s 1030px max-width.
    The Third LIne Removes the default top and bottom padding of 50px and removes a 2px margin from one of the inner elements.

    This Should then make the slider full screen for you as long as you follow the directions above setting up the page and the slider.

    Here is a screenshot of my demo of your slider:
    https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/21724593/Rev-Slider-Enfold.png

    Notice the menu is still centered and not full width, but the slider expands past it.
    And here is a screenshot of your demo, where I added the code via css in chrome inspector. The only problem is the slider doesn’t realize the page is resizing.. so it didn’t change to full width.. but you can see that the code should work for you once you add it and refresh the page.

    Try using this one:
    https://www.dropbox.com/s/ozbtlebgl79zr6o/functions.php

    If that doesn’t work you can always download a copy of WordPress from here (replace everything except for the wp-content folder):

    Hey!

    Thank you for using the theme.

    1.) We will need to see the actual page where the image is located. Please post the page url here.

    2.) Please try to specify the absolute url where the font is located. and make sure that you have access to all the font format. For example, you can try this:

    @font-face {
    font-family: 'Gotham Black';
    src: url('http://www.mywebsite.com/wp-content/themes/enfold/fonts/GothamHTF/GothamHTF-Black.otf')
    src: url('http://www.mywebsite.com/wp-content/themes/enfold/fonts/GothamHTF/GothamHTF-Black.eot?#iefix') format('embedded-opentype'),
    url('http://www.mywebsite.com/wp-content/themes/enfold/fonts/GothamHTF/GothamHTF-Black.woff') format('woff'),
    url('http://www.mywebsite.com/wp-content/themes/enfold/fonts/GothamHTF/GothamHTF-Black.ttf') format('truetype'),
    url('http://www.mywebsite.com/wp-content/themes/enfold/GothamHTF/GothamHTF-Black.svg#GothamHTF-Black') format('svg');
    font-weight: normal;
    font-style: normal;
    }

    3.) The advance layout builder doesn’t support posts. Please watch this video: https://vimeo.com/64996057

    You need to edit config-templatebuilder > avia-template-builder > config > meta.php, find this code:

    array( 'title' =>__('Avia Layout Builder','avia_framework' ), 'id'=>'avia_builder', 'page'=>array('portfolio','page'), 'context'=>'normal', 'priority'=>'high', 'expandable'=>true ),

    Replace it with:

    array( 'title' =>__('Avia Layout Builder','avia_framework' ), 'id'=>'avia_builder', 'page'=>array('portfolio','page', 'post'), 'context'=>'normal', 'priority'=>'high', 'expandable'=>true ),

    We won’t be able to provide support for any related issues that may occur if you add the advance layout builder to posts.

    Cheers!
    Ismael

    Hi jlarmen!

    Thank you for using the theme!

    Where do you want to use the image? The theme crops the image into small thumbnails and set it to different elements of the theme accordingly. You can set the crop parameter to false if you want to prevent wp from cutting the edges of the image. For example, edit functions.php, find this code on line 101:

    $avia_config['imgSize']['entry_with_sidebar'] 	= array('width'=>710, 'height'=>270);		                 // big images for blog and page entries

    Replace it with:

    $avia_config['imgSize']['entry_with_sidebar'] 	= array('width'=>710, 'height'=>270, 'crop'=>false);		                 // big images for blog and page entries

    Regenerate the thumbnails or upload it again. We’ll need to know where exactly are you trying to use the image so that we can point you on the right direction.

    Ismael

    Open /framework/php/class-framework-widgets.php and look for line 739:

    hello.

    i use enfold.
    my questions are:

    i use a phpbb forum inside wordpress with wp-united plug in.
    when activated, i got problem on smartphones. if there is images in the phpbb post, i cant see the right part of the forum. in fact, the responsive enfold goes ok but i can’t zoom in or zoom out to navigate in the phpbb page.

    when i disable the responsive feature of enfold, my website is shrinked in a 960 pixel fixed width. when i use custom.css ton enlarge it to 1130 px, the sidebars ans content ar always scaled on the 960 px fixed mode.

    an other thing:

    how can i fix the width in then non responsive mod in custom.css to have the same result than my 1130 px responsive mode (full hd, 17.3)?

    is it possible to active pinch to zoom in a responsive mode?

    is it possible to deactivate scrolling menu bar on a specific url?

    how can i resolve that?

    thanks

    Hey!

    Thank you for using the theme!

    Please edit the file config-woocommerce > config.php then look for this code on line 15:

    $avia_config['imgSize']['shop_catalog'] 	= array('width'=>450, 'height'=>450);

    Replace it with:

    $avia_config['imgSize']['shop_catalog'] 	= array('width'=>170, 'height'=>257);

    Regenerate or upload the images again.

    Guess the best thing you can do is to post your login for your wordpress site and the SQL (mostly phpmyadmin on hoster) and ask the support if they can help you with it.
    Make sure you post it as private reply so that only the support can see it

    The newest version of enfold is now 2.7.1 and i guess you could update the BBPress plugin as well. But i would create a backup of the database first.

    Hello,

    I recently moved my website to a new webhost and server. And I am having some troubles with the site.

    I contacted the webhost and they said that something inside the theme login is showing an error message.

    The issues are two:

    1. Some of my posts are not functioning corectly as the one in: http://paisagismoonline.com.br/jardins-pelo-mundo-parte-7-villa-ephrussi-de-rothschild/

    2. The other one is that I use a pluging that was working fine before changing servers. Trough this plugin I can upload files to my clients from the backend of my site and they can upload files for me from their side. The webhost support said that can also be related with the theme.

    I checked the theme error log and got this two messages:

    [22-May-2014 21:51:15 America/Denver] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_header() in /home/paisagis/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/enfold/index.php on line 9

    Can you help me?

    Thanks.

    We recently upgraded to 2.7.1 in order to fix the bug with text blocks and WP 3.9, but have stumbled upon a new bug in the admin panel.

    In the Widgets section, the dropdown of existing widgets fails to work — The console shows an endless string of Undefined errors calling to jquery-ui. Before attempting to click anything, we noticed that widgets.php fails to load “src=’/maps/api/js?sensor=false&ver=3′”

    I have tried switching to different themes, and the error only happens on enfold.
