Topic: Menu Breaking on Front End
I’ve got Enfold installed and have a really large menu on it (looking at about 70+ items). Its been working great until today when I added a new menu item and the whole front end menu broke.
Instead of dropdowns, the menu now just lists all items out in a random order, which covers the entire page.
The admin menu page also now comes up with that ‘page is unresponsive’ popup in chrome asking if i want to kill the page or wait.I thought it may be a css problem, but i can’t see why as all other css seems to be working.
Next thought is a php memory problem, but i deleted a few menu items and its still broken.Any thoughts/help would be great.
If i can increase php memory, should it fix the front end? I’m submitting a ticket to the server guys to do that right now too, but need to make sure that’s the right call. Thanks!!

This is what is happening. I have about 6 new WordPress sites made over the past 2 months. Some use templates made by the same creator others are from completely different creators yet all have the same issue. I only have one site right now using your enfold template but it is having same issues when used on the same server with there other sites. Errors only occurs when you open more than 1 of the wordpress sites on my server on a single browser. So the first will be fine but the second will display the error. If you completely shut down your browser and open them in the other order, the other will then have the error.
Another topic here with similar php error issue was given this advice
“Please ask your host. You should have space in your /tmp directory, and with the correct permissions. If you don’t know anything about it please contact your hosting support.”
I did that and hosting support said
“The /tmp directory on the server is not full, and has correct permissions as you can see from this output:”
root@host [~]# stat /tmp

After upgrading to v2.7.1 with Modern Tribe Event calendar Pro 3.5.2 the Event details get a 404. When the theme is switched to TwentyFourteen, the event single page data is visible again.
This makes me think it’s to do with Enfold in some way…have you guys had anyone else with the problem (I couldn’t see any recent entries in the forum).
As per an old forum post I saw from Sept last year, I also increased my php ini memory limit way up to 256 and no difference.
Any ideas?
You can see the effect at http://www.turabeachcountryclub.com.au/events . If you choose an event you will get a 404
Thanks for any help you can offer me. Much appreciated.
cheers
Darryl

https://kriesi.at/support/topic/portfolio-items-without-sidebar/Now i see a warning error in the top when i am logged in:
Warning: join(): Invalid arguments passed in /home2/ribanezg/public_html/wp-includes/post-template.php on line 478
class=”” itemscope=”itemscope” itemtype=”http://schema.org/WebPage” >Could you help me to solved this issue?
Thanks in advance, Raúl.
hello.
i use enfold.
my questions are:i use a phpbb forum inside wordpress with wp-united plug in.
when activated, i got problem on smartphones. if there is images in the phpbb post, i cant see the right part of the forum. in fact, the responsive enfold goes ok but i can’t zoom in or zoom out to navigate in the phpbb page.when i disable the responsive feature of enfold, my website is shrinked in a 960 pixel fixed width. when i use custom.css ton enlarge it to 1130 px, the sidebars ans content ar always scaled on the 960 px fixed mode.
an other thing:
how can i fix the width in then non responsive mod in custom.css to have the same result than my 1130 px responsive mode (full hd, 17.3)?
is it possible to active pinch to zoom in a responsive mode?
is it possible to deactivate scrolling menu bar on a specific url?
how can i resolve that?
thanks
Topic: Error Message
Hello,
I recently moved my website to a new webhost and server. And I am having some troubles with the site.
I contacted the webhost and they said that something inside the theme login is showing an error message.
The issues are two:
1. Some of my posts are not functioning corectly as the one in: http://paisagismoonline.com.br/jardins-pelo-mundo-parte-7-villa-ephrussi-de-rothschild/
2. The other one is that I use a pluging that was working fine before changing servers. Trough this plugin I can upload files to my clients from the backend of my site and they can upload files for me from their side. The webhost support said that can also be related with the theme.
I checked the theme error log and got this two messages:
[22-May-2014 21:51:15 America/Denver] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_header() in /home/paisagis/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/enfold/index.php on line 9
[23-May-2014 05:44:57 America/Denver] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_header() in /home/paisagis/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/enfold/index.php on line 9Can you help me?
Thanks.
Fabiana. We recently upgraded to 2.7.1 in order to fix the bug with text blocks and WP 3.9, but have stumbled upon a new bug in the admin panel.
In the Widgets section, the dropdown of existing widgets fails to work — The console shows an endless string of Undefined errors calling to jquery-ui. Before attempting to click anything, we noticed that widgets.php fails to load “src=’/maps/api/js?sensor=false&ver=3′”
I have tried switching to different themes, and the error only happens on enfold.
