    In reply to: E_ERROR in Enfold functions file as well as in other files

    The following is located in the WooCommerce -> Status Logs. Adding what is related to Enfold. The error log is very long through the day. There are a bunch of error logs for each day.
    I believe these are related to PHP 8.1. (PHP 8.0?

    The page above is not displaying correctly because the post css file is not found or is not being loaded correctly. This is the error in the console.

    Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) post-33517.css

    You can add this filter in the functions.php file to temporarily disable the post css option and make sure that the pages display as expected.

    It does exactly what I want it to do on desktop, that is; it opens the contents of a hidden color section on the same page in a lightbox when a button is clicked in another color section. However, the styling still needs lot of work (the lightbox covers the full screen currently – left to right), but I would like it to look like a popup that only fills the device screen to about 75% of the space on desktop, but 100% of the space on mobile. It currently looks terrible on mobile devices, in that the color section doesn’t seem to follow breakpoints (my color section that is loaded into the lightbox uses 2 columns – a 2/5 and a 3/5. I have an image on the left in a 2/5 column and a text block on the right in a 3/5 column. I’ve played around with CSS for hours, but can’t get it to look good on mobile).

    I have noticed there is a mix of errors with the labhuset.no web site. The site ran WP 6.3.2 at the time I took the below video. Right afterward I upgraded it to WP 6.4 but all the same errors remained.

    The video became much longer (24 minutes) than I hoped as multiple issues showed up along the way.

    1- I have contacted ManageWP about the errors related to the Worker plugin.
    There are various errors there, so it is hard to pinpoint what is really going on.
    This is a work in progress. I thought I would share the video just in case you have any thoughts regarding what is going on.

    Here is one Enfold error that came up.
    Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 20480 bytes) in /home/L/Labhusetno//www/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-template-builder/php/base-classes/class-popup-templates-base.php on line 104

    another user had the same issue before and applied the solution:
    “Avia Template Builder adds an action to template_redirect, as does the plugin. But since the one from Avia has a very low priority, those functions added by the plugin never get called.
    Solution: in wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebulder/avia-template-builder/php/template-builder.class.php on line 176 I set the priority in the add_action call to 20000.”

    I can´t find this line/file in the new theme version – would you be so kind to let me know, where I can find it? :-)

    This script checks that your section ID “contact” on the homepage is within 200px of the center, if it is the menu item with be your highlight color: #cd5124;
    If you then scroll up or down past 200px of the center the menu item will be your light menu color: #9c9288;
    If you scroll all the way to the top the menu item will be the dark menu color: #545454;
    This also works if you land on the “contact” section from another page.

    1. The date of the post is placed at the bottom of the post, Can it be placed at the top of the post?

    Topic: Auto-adjusting tab section height to content

    Hello together,

    We are utilizing the tab section element on our website but the height option “auto adjust to content” does not seem to work properly.
    All tab sections still have the same height as the tab section with the most content (see private content section).
    We have also tried to completely redesign the section from scratch but with no luck at all.
    After some research we have found quite a few topics on this issue but mostly from older Enfold versions (between 2017-2019), so it seems that the issue had been fixed in some former release.
    We are running Enfold 5.6.8 on PHP 8.2.12.

    How can this be fixed?

    Hello,
    We use your theme on our site https://centredesmusiciensdumonde.com/ and we have this error : PHP Warning: Undefined array key “HTTP_ACCEPT_LANGUAGE” in /home/centredesmusicie/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold-child/functions.php on line 27

    All the site is up to date, php 8.1.

    When you google :PHP Warning: Undefined array key “HTTP_ACCEPT_LANGUAGE”, lot of site has this problem? could you help use

    Hi Nikko, thanks for your reply.
    I tried to replicate the error in my current sandbox (running Enfold 5.6.5) and here I do not have the problem.
    Where can I get hold of the previous version – I normally update via the Enfold panel and never download/keep the files.

    FYI: I run PHP version 7.4.11 – I believe this is not the newest but not sure if this could impact the issue.

    For example, the child theme didn’t have an “includes” folder, so I created it.

    Yes, that is the correct way to override a template file. The folder structure should be the same as the parent theme.

    However, the header for this is “Share this entry“. I’d like to change this to “Share this article“.

    To adjust the title of the sharing section, add this filter in the functions.php file.

    Is there a simple way (in the browser Inspect function) to figure out which file the code comes from, to set this text?

    If you’re not familiar with the code base, one way to proceed is by performing a “search all” for a specific string or class name throughout the entire directory. This will provide you with a list of files in which the specific string or element is rendered. If you’re using an IDE such as VS Code, you can do the following steps.

    Hi chitz,

    The error you are getting does not mean that your support expired but maybe PHP ZipArchive Extension is not enabled on your server/webhost, or some settings are not set properly or insufficient. Here are some posts that are related to it:

    Dear Support,

    on my website I would like to have a shopping icon next to the burger menue. It should display like this: shopping icon | Burger Menue (Separated by Pipe). I followed the tutorial here: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/add-menu-button-link-next-to-hamburger-menu/

    I tried both solutions. The solution with the child theme kind of works, but the shopping icon is not displayed next to the burger menue. Also if you resize the window the icon stays.

    The other solution with the custom link is only displayed when you resize to iPad and I wasn’t able to display the shopping icon instead of words.

    What can I do to have the shopping icon separated with pipe on the left next to the burger menue on all sizes on desktop as well as mobile.

    This is the code I used in the child functions.php

    Did you create this shortcode yourself, I don’t see a reference to this in the solution from Günter above
    When I read the Github avf_obfuscate_email_link filter it is intended for buttons with email links, and when I test it seems to work correctly:

    Thank you for the info.

    Did you check the /enfold/config-woocommerce/config.php file, specifically around line 2971? The filter “lp_certificate_image_cart_woo” may have been added in that file. It’s also possible that the plugin is using the avf_wc_widget_product_image_size filter, but it seems to be missing 4 parameters, which require an update.

     avia_wc_widget_product_image_size(), 2 passed in /home/customer/www/simonepols.com/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php on line 310 and exactly 6 expected in

    Our club has an old website which runs on WP 4.5.30 with Enfold 3.4.7 and PHP 5.6, all very old.
    While updating to WP 6.3.2 and PHP 8.1.24 enfold crashes with the error below.
    Can you recommend an update strategy to new versions to solve this problem?

    Hi I did some of the updates and also increased and updated the version of the PHP and it broke some parts of the site, enfold logo is showing and lot of galleries and icons are missing.. I could try to bring it back to the 7.4 php but maybe this could be a reason why its failing?

    Hi,
    Thanks for your feedback, on your /white-wine-weekend/ page I tried cloning your masonry gallery and added items to it, and removing items from it and I did lose the connection to the site. I see in your 301 Redirects plugin under the 404 report that /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php is listed as a 404 error, this is not normal but I’m not sure what could be the cause.
    I see in your Site Health Info some of your settings are low:

    abdouz_2000 from your screenshot it looks like you ae trying to install the demo on a localhost xamppa2, your error looks like you don’t have the PHP ZipArchive Extension installed, this is what is is called on a cPanel host, I’m not use of the settings required for xampp.
    Since it looks like you tried to install the parallax demo, it is possible that the frontpage was not enabled correctly in the theme settings, please go to Enfold Theme Options ▸ Theme Options ▸ Frontpage Settings and ensure the “frontpage” was set and no option was set for the Enfold Theme Options ▸ Theme Options ▸ Where Do You Want To Display The Blog

    Please note that the parallax demo only has one page, the “frontpage” and many of the images are online, so your localhost needs to have internet access.
    If none of this helps, please try installing the demo on a live server and include a admin access for us to review the site, I don’t think that we can effectively guide you though settings up a localhost, as we would not have access.

    According to the stack trace above, the error is coming from the plugin or one of the modifications that has been added to the files. Did you have someone modify the /enfold/config-woocommerce/config.php or add any code in the functions.php file?

    This is where the “lp_certificate_image_cart_woo” filter error is generated.

    Hi,
    Thank you for the link to your site, I found that on your site when you mouse-over the map marker the pointer doesn’t change to a “pointer” it stays a “hand” I exported your map to my test page and you will see that on mouse-over the pointer changes and the popups work.
    Perhaps this is a plugin conflict, I tried disabling all of your plugins except Limit Login Attempts Reloaded & WPS Hide Login I didn’t want to disable these, please give this a try. I enabled your other plugins again.
    The only other difference is that your site PHP memory limit & Max input time are bothe a negative one:

    I’m not sure if this is relevant or not, try to see if you can also change these.
    As for using the Gutenburg Block in the ALB, no you can not.

    Yes I am running the latest version of both, and I tried to deactivate all plugins too but the issue persists. I run PHP 7.4.33.

    Good tip Guenni007, I see emilconsor is using a custom header.php & footer.php, we do not recommend adding these files to your child theme, it is the most common reason for errors when updating. Please remove these files and any customizations you wish to make should be done in your child theme functions.php

    Thanks for your patience, the masonry element displays items based of their categories, does your CPT have any categories?
    Please try creating specific categories for your CPT and then select those categories in the masonry element.
    If you do have categories and they still don’t show please try adding this code to your child theme functions.php and modify for your CPT
