Nuv,
It’s a fairly simple fix. Select the slider that’s off and then click on the global settings. Look for “responsive under” & “layers container” and put in the size frame your using. Ex. I used 1210.
That fixed it for me and hopefully gets it working properly for you.
Cheers,
– John
Hi,
IMHO, this is not a really big deal because users rarely use the zoom in and out function of any browsers. Though you can control this on LayerSliderWP > General Settings > Basic > Layers Container. Adjust the width of the slider container. You might need to adjust the position of the elements.

Hi jwferne,
Can you give an example or screenshot showing your settings and how they are not displaying correctly?
Even a quick screencast using http://www.screenr.com/ would help illustrate exactly whats going on so we can address it :)

Hi,
I copied your LayerSlider ( Enfold – most beautiful theme ever) and added some text. But the colour of the text appearing on website is same as the styling color chosen from enfold theme option. I want to change this text color ro white #ffffff. I added html to the custom html session of the Basic option box but this is not affecting the final output of the text color on the slide. Please can you advice on how I can change the text color on the slide.
Thanks
Michael
Hi!
Thanks jwferne for the hint :)

I am trying to place identical size images into a layer slider layer. They come in at different sizes. Why?
Text placement in the layerslider screen (height) is different from the actual output of the website banner. Also the scale effect does not work. Any idea why this is occuring?
p.s.
I had the same issue. I fixed it by doing the following:
1. click on the slider you want to use
2. Upper left corner there is a button for global settings
3. In the “Layers container” box I put the width of the site template I’m using: 1210. Also in “responsive under,” make sure to leave 1140.
4. Save settings.
That seemed to fix it for me. Hope it works for you.

I’m sorry but unfortunately this mod requires a lot of work (and testing) and it’s beyond the scope of our support forum. I can only show you the starting point – depending on your coding skills you can try to implement the Revolution slider by yourself or hire a freelancer for this job. Starting point: the LayerSlider implementation code can be found in wp-contentthemesenfoldconfig-templatebuilderavia-shortcodesslideshow_layerslider.php and in the wp-contentthemesenfoldconfig-layerslider folder.
I would like to use the Revolution Slider. Client likes it and so do we. How can we override the theme’s (Enfold) layer slider and replace it with the Revolution Slider. Tried shortcode but that messed up things. Can you guide us?
Thanks.
Hi,
Go to the LayerSlider WP > Slides, at the bottom edit each layers then click the “Style” tab. You can control the top and left position of each element.

Hi Guys,
Amazing theme! The modular page layouts in the CMS is incredible. I’m working on a site that uses the full width advanced layer slider and all the content is left aligned unlike on the theme demo: http://symbioticmarketing.co.uk/homepage/dev/
Is there a way to change this?
Thanks for the response :)

Devin
heh, I meant geometry when I wrote coding the 2nd time.
I do like the layout builder. There is no specific reason for using the standard editor. I’m just used to coding. I guess it’s why some people are good with algebra, while others are better at coding. Thanks for the response.
Glad you were able to find a work around. I’ll tag the topic for Kriesi so that he can look into it as well.
Out of curiosity, any reason why you wouldn’t just use the layout builder for the layout? I’ve found it to be superior in almost every facet to doing things in the regular visual editor.

Devin
Hi,
There is something wrong with your setup. Something is interfering. And you got some weird issue with permalinks too. http://runforcourage2013.org/wp-content/themes/enfold/enfold/config-layerslider/LayerSlider/skins/.DS_Store/skin.css … for some reason your host is coming and showing advertisement on that page in their skin instead of that page being just a 404 error in your skin. You are also missing another css file as well. Perhaps your wordpress installation is corrupted.
Thanks,
Nick
Hey!
No, I couldn’t find a “hover” setting for images/links. However you can use the button shortcode in the html field if you want to use a css button. I made a short video: http://www.screenr.com/gci7

Peter
YES, THANK YOU SO MUCH…. LIFE SAVER!!!!!!!!
Thanks. Is there a way to add a shortcode so the button can have a rollover state?
Hi!
Add a button image as layer and then click on “Link” to insert a link url and to select a link target (new window/tab, same window, etc.)
Best regards,
Peter
How does one add a button (like Sign Up) as a Layer on the LayerSlider?
I figured it out. I don’t know why the short code doesn’t work, but if you go into the advanced editor on the page you want your slider on, then choose the Media Elements tab, and click on Advanced Layer Slider. It will put it at the bottom, so you will need to drag it up top (I’m assuming that’s where you want it). Then choose the name of the slider you have made, and update the page. Hopefully that helps, and is a temporary solution. I would prefer if you could just add the short code. Hopefully it gets that option.
I’m having the exact same problem. It shows the code on the screen, but not the slider itself. Please advise.
I installed WP 3.5.1 and just installed Enfold 1.3. Everything seems to be working great except I cant get the LayerSlider to show on the hoempage no matter how I do it. I dont see it under widgets, Ive tried copying and pasting the short code into a random post and Ive tried using the <php layerslider> function from the doc example but php gives an error that it doesnt find the function.
Is it suppose to work upon theme installation immediately? Or are there additional steps to take to get that to work?
Hi!
Thanks maratino for helping us out :)
Best regards,
Peter
I had this problem too.
It is related tom some Layer-Slider settings. Quite a lot of settings…
This setting made it work as expected: https://www.evernote.com/shard/s16/sh/d0c92ead-e172-4030-bb85-413cc6d33a6d/2dd9064b570edb2aae5182f09364d1e2
Thanks Devin. Viewed the video and I can see in the video the same problem at 5.00 min mark, where layerslider is alighted to the left. eg it is quite far left from the sites logo above, not centred, and not like the version on the themeforest demo. But I think it may just be a problem with the layerslider demo file not being centred properly, as when I imported layersliders own sample data, they seem to be aligned fine.
Hi lounge35,
Not that I know of no. The default demo content should set it up so that the slider is automatically centered. See the FTP installation video at about 3 minutes here: https://vimeo.com/64694549 where I install the dummy data and view the frontpage.
If you have any plugins installed try deactivating them to make sure something isn’t causing a conflict with the layerslider code.

Devin
