Hi,
Please make sure all categories have a description, because when there is no description: Choice 1 below will push down from the category image and on pages with no description everything will look good, however on pages that have a description, Choice 1 will push the description down as well. Choice 2 will push from the category description , creating a space between the description and product images. However if there is no category description, the description container will also be missing, so nothing will change on those pages. So please make sure that **every category and sub-category** have a description and an image.
Use 1 or 2 (read above for explanation, if both are used, there will be space between category image and description, and space between description and product images)
1. To create the space between category title and products please add this css, and adjust bottom margin as needed (it is 0 currently).

}2. To create the space between category description and products use this css.

To add a separator will be more difficult and will involve editing the plugin. Since you didnt specify , i just included instructions above on how to add space.

To modify the space between product images change the % in the code below (top, right, bottom, left) . So keep 2 of the 4 at 0%
You can use decimals so 1.1% is a good place to start

Topic: Easy slider – image size
Hi,
I am using the easy slider with 3 images and some text. I would like the images to be smaller but the only option on the image size which seems to work is the Entry with Side Bar option. If I use any of the others even if they should have smaller size, they still come out larger. I have tried re-sizing my images and that doesn’t seem to work either.

Sorry but I cant get this to work at all. I tried copying the base.css to my own child theme, adding !important as well as trying it in the original base.css file within Enfold. Where am I going wrong?
Ive ditch my own png image in favour of using a ‘cross’ in entypo. How can I make this work?

Hi Ismael, thanks for your answer. However, it seems that you didn’t understand: the first cell of the first column, in Desktop view, disappears from the table in Mobile view. Please see my screenshots (http://imgur.com/a/f5Xuh): in the mobile view (first image) the first cell should read: “Contest date” no “Total Days”, just as it reads in the Desktop view (second image). Thanks for making a wonderful WordPress design. Just found one quirk for me so far:
If you look at my logo “Holly Chadwick Designs” in the header to the left at http://hollychadwick.com using Internet Explorer 8, it is not sized correctly. It is too tall and not wide enough. It doesn’t seem to matter what size I make the image for the logo, it always renders like this. On some computers the logo even goes across the entire screen and is fuzzy because its too big. Any suggestions on how to make it render correctly?
I used the latest Firefox and Chrome on a Mac for reference when putting it together, but would like my colleagues still on XP and IE to be able to view my site correctly.

I just changed 4 column to 257xx183. It still gets blurry…
Can I ask why these images are not the size they are beeing used?
If I scale down the window and then make it big again the image gets sharp for a tiny second before it turns blury again.

Thank you for all your help so far. I love this theme and am excited to create my best work yet because of all of you.
I need help with W3 Total Cache. I’ve set it up with minimal settings. I would love to do whatever it is you did to the demo site. When I load my site, in Pingdom Tools all my css files are being loaded separately. If I auto minify all of the css is lost. How would I go about combining all the css. Also, I am using a child theme.
When I go with the minimal settings for the minify and just have the js on, I loose some functionality. Right now I notice that my blog preview buttons no longer show the next thumbnail. I love this feature and would like to keep it. I think I am having trouble because of how the theme is set up for every possibility but I could also be missing something.
The browser is also searching for an empty/non-exsistent style.css.

Please open up /js/avia.js and find line 767 that looks like
el_height = $(elements).filter(':first').height(),and change it to look like
el_height = 116,You also have to take out any css modifications you’ve made that sets the size of your image somewhere else.
*make a text file where you keep track of files and line numbers that you are changing so that way you have a record for yourself of all your customizations.

I have tried the above with video media element as well as with image element & setting the link manually to a youtube video, if I set an image from the “image element” no image shows on the portfolio, so featured image must be used as well, however, in either case the video “does not open in a light box” from the portfolio 3 column page it only opens the “featured image” in the light box & as a gallery of images & in the case of using the media element video when clicked to the page not opening iin a light box PLEASE HELP WITH THIS, this is one of the main reasons I chose this theme – thank you so very much :)

Hi my client wants the model number listed for each gallery photo. Right now the gallery items just say 1/24, 2/24, etc. What do I need to do to have the file number or description in the lightbox. I told client we could put that in the tool tip but he wants it in the lightbox.

I actually found a solution. i went and changed the “Responsive Header Main Menu” to “display as slide out menu” and it aligned the mega menu correctly and also the fullpage slider is showing the correct images.

And also for the footer area there’s a widget for Popular | Recent | Tags.
And there are empty boxes or blank thumbnails to the left. How do I add images ? In the individual posts or is there something that I’m missing?
And how do I change the outlines so I can remove it ?

Did you try to change the thumbnail size on the WooCommerce settings page (WooCommerce > Settings > Catalog)? Please change it if required and regenerate the thumbnails with: http://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/

Great theme however Im having problems with images.
Im using a 2/3 layout for a gallery. No sidebar.
I have used both a slider and regular gallery, images are always blurry.

Can you tell me what settings and image sizes I should be using?

Unfortunately it’s not possible to add a shadow to the box if you’re using a background image. The problem is the html structure which does not allow you to add the shadow to the box itself but you must apply it to the body element. If you can live without background image you can use following code:

}Otherwise you can’t add a shadow to the box at the moment – I’m sorry.

I’d like to add some white space (or a separator) between the category description (including image) and the first line of 3 subcategories images.
By the way, can you tell me how to add some space (left/right-up/down) between the subcategories images, and change the subcategory name text size ?

Thanks but this didn’t work as expected (wish I could attach screen shots) & I watched the video all the way through & it didn’t explain “portfolio & entries in detail” but here is what I did & can show you that I did . . .
1. I created a page, clicked on advance layout editor, under content element I selected & inserted “portfolio grid”, clicked the edidt icon -> chose “video” -> 3 columns -> post # 16 -> excerpt “only title” -> link handling chose “display the big image in a lightbox” -> sortable “yes” -> pagination “yes” -> saved the page (did not set featured image) . . . publish

2. Went to “create portfolio items” clicked on “media elements” chose video, clicked on the video edit icon -> inserted http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KhRC8jxRD-g -> clicked save -> uploaded a featured image -> chose video category -> publish

I am not sure where I saw it, but someone suggested using a 100% value in the slideshow’s height will bring it to full screen/whatever is remaining for the browser’s viewport. I tried doing this but the images did not appear at all. I tried modifying the init.php for the slider plugin but still no avail. Can anyone help me on this matter?

Well I have pages with 4 column with and without sidebar. I need the images to be just as razersharp as I see them in Photoshop as they often contain text.
How do I go ahead then? These sizes are different even though they are both 4 column. The most important is the full page/without sidebar.
