I searched and tried few suggestions and now I got two images side by side but still at the top and lines that should be shown like the ones I can find on chrome are still not there.

I just noticed that the first page built on the blank without header or footer are shown differently on the Internet Explorer.

When I open the webpage, two images on the first page should be shown side by side, which I can find it correctly on chrome.
But, when I open it on IE, I found out that the first image is shown at the top and the middle of the page and the image that should be right side of the first image is shown below the first image.
Here’s another problem; it’s also about a page on blank.

The image should be shown in the middle of the page with lines but the page on IE shows the image on the top of the page again without any lines.
I did not change any code, or html, which I do not even know how to open and change.
Also, I do not think I uploaded any suspicious plugins; bbpress and jetpack are only plugins I have.
Please advise what I can do to fix them.

I would still wait for an answer but as someone who has brought the theme I would recommend WP Retina 2x.
It works with the theme and WordPress 3.6 ready. You do need to upload an image large enough so the plugin can make retina ready images. All icon etc of the theme are retina ready its just the images you need to cover.
Topic: Portfolio Grid images size
Is there a way i can showcase my portfolio entries in a portfolio grid with more columns? I am trying to use portfolio grid as a method of showcasing my products but the featured images are way too big and unequal. Will having more columns make the images equal and smaller?

Try uploading a logo file that starts at the actual dimensions it gets set to: 250px by 88px. Right now you are already starting with a compressed image and then compressing it even further.

Was wondering if this was ever resolved? I get the lag on Chrome and Safari on OSX 10.6.
Are there alternatives to getting a fixed image (parallax) effect while still having the image be responsive. So for only fullscreen slider seems to do this.

Hi hbenagh,
The easy slider will grow or shrink to its container. So in the advanced layout editor you can put it in a column element to change the container of it.
The image size you choose just picks the size that gets inserted but the container still adapts the image to fit the container instead.
The footer widgets are there as placeholders so you just need to insert any widget into the footer widget areas and they will be changed. If you don’t want any, you can use blank text widgets.

when I create a png that is 340×106, I get the least amount of resizing. I think the problem with the fuzzy logo is that there is something with the template that resizes the image and so it does not display well. Please help. I feel like this is too complicated. I should be able to just add a logo that is the recommended size and it should work.

I really can’t find out how this slider settings have been created:

I mean the slide where the balloons are “flying” in and then “flying” out again, same with the text.
In my case here it does not work, that the white text, that has “slide from left” as “transition in”, now “slide to left” as I have set as “transition out”. I would like the text sliding in the photo from the left and after some time it should slide again to the left and disappear from the photo.
Would you mind to post me the screenshots of the settings for this “baloon slide” from the demo

(It has unfortunately not come with the demo data, and the slider that comes with the demo, has no “flying/sliding” out of texts.)

Ok, I have been working on this quite a bit for the last hour and have tried many different images. It seems like 340×156 is not the correct size for an image to be uploaded. No matter what I do, the image that is uploaded gets resized somehow and it looks fuzzy. I just want to put in an image about 340 pixels wide and not have it get resized. When I modify custom.css per your other post, then image looks stretched. Please help.

Let me start with this question first, by default the theme wants a logo image that is 340×156. When I upload that image and save, the image displays in the header, but the image is only about half the size. If I do a printscreen and crop the image in photoshop, the image is half of those dimensions. Am I doing something wrong?
Topic: Fullscreen Slider Issue
I’m wanting to setup my homepage like you have it on Home version 7, which seems to be the fullscreen slider, but it’s using the function that you are layering it with a logo and text on top. I tried to recreate this with the WP layer slider and it is zooming in on some of the images, and I can’t get it to scroll properly. It works great and scrolls properly if I just use the Fullscreen Slider option instead, however that slider does not give me the option to create the layers like you have it in the demo.
Are there any video tutorials that can walk me through what I’m doing wrong here?

I actually just figured it out (of course) but there’s still quite a bit of padding in the footer – I think there may just be quite a bit of padding around images in the stylesheet?

Both Enfold and Avisio themes appear to be broken and I have lost a lot of WordPress functionality, such as being able to edit pages, loss WP taskbar at top of screen, sidebar and footer widgets, and upload media into those pages. Enfold just broke. I started a new thread for the Avisio issues yesterday in that theme’s support section. It is installed on Avisio at sustainability.valiantlane.com.

I received and email that says I have a comment about spelling errors on my site. There are no comments in WP in either Enfold or Avisio. Outlook has flagged this email as possible phishing (I have not opened it) and may indicate hacking of WP or your themes? Here is the image for this.

actually the lower graphic worked fine when put in a 1 column wide element, but the graphic at the top is inside of a color section and is still aligned off center (only IE9). any tips? (the top graphic is color section with a background image, and inside is a hr whitespace and below it is the text graphic you see “the best in…”)

Don’t think I’ve changed anything in my configuration but all the sudden by full width easy sliders are not sliding. They show multiple buttons at the bottom of the image but only show one image. You can’t slide between them. What can I do?

1) This css in your Quick CSS is causing the issue:
.grid-entry.flex_column.isotope-item.all_sort.no_margin.post-entry.av_one_third {
min-height: 243px !important;
height: 243px !important;
}Its forcing the height to exactly 243px on those elements which is not tall enough for the 3rd image.
2) Go to the theme options Sidebar options and choose not to display Page Sidebar navigation.
3 and 4) On any page you can turn off the header from the Layout meta box on the right hand side of the page.

Hi Susana,
You would need to use the LayerSlider to do that and then set the layout to just have nothing else on the page. If you wanted to use the actual full screen slider element then no, you wouldn’t be able to control when the sentence appears but you could add the text to your fullscreen image.

Is anyone else experience some odd, buggy behavior with the advanced layout builder? I’m having to use it because I have a Layerslider on my home page, which as we know from past forums the shortcode for which does not work in the Default Editor.
Specifically I’m working with some 1/3 column Text Blocks on the page. I’m adding simple stuff – a small image, a title, and some text – all centered.
But the editor is adding paragraph styles to my images, there’s some weird padding going on with the images, the editor doesn’t always show the changes I’ve made (for instance, the image is actually centered on the live page but not in the editor). When I start messing around with the Header styles, they don’t always match even though they are the same header style (I’ve had to go into the text editor and remove extra coding that seems to conflict every time I make an edit to these text boxes).
I suppose my question is: Is it supposed to be this buggy? and how do I gain more control over the spacing/padding around elements like headers and images?
Lastly – on a different topic – can I remove the bread crumbs completely from the upper righthand column? (eg Home / Volunteer).

Topic: Broken Pages
Hey Guys,
After recently doing a couple of changes, my home page and one other page broke. I haven’t done any structural changes. But when you try to login to the page editor I get a spinning circle and then the page crashes recieving a ‘No Data Received’ message.
I have tried rebuilding the pages and can get all the way until I try to add animated images over a colored section in the editor. Any help?
