In an attempt to get the Enfold theme working with NextGen Gallery, I noticed all of my popup images were showing up funky. The Lightbox effect was broken and the user didn’t have navigation options within the gallery.
I found this article: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/how-to-use-nextgen-gallery-with-enfold-and-other-kriesi-themes/#post-29347 which was a big help. However, the code given for the free version of NextGen Gallery v2.x didn’t work. I think I figured out a better way that appears to work by using the following code under Gallery > Other Options > LightBox Effects > Show Advanced Options > Code:
class='lightbox' rel='prettyPhoto[%GALLERY_NAME%]'
If you have run into this issue before, please give this a try to see if it works. In my limited testing, it appears to have fixed my issue site-wide: Click to see the fixed version on my website
Hi Ismael,
Thanks for your reply. I’ve tried reloading the homepage with the window resized, and it doesn’t work. The image is still cropped.
Also I’ve added the top margin, which makes the logo look better, but yes, the logo definitely crops in a smaller window size.
I would really like to resolve these two issues, and I would appreciate some further help. Otherwise I totally love the theme.
Thanks for your time,
– isaac
Ok here is a page I just setup that has one that is not the same size.
http://healthyrowan.com/test-page/
But it must have ben a javascript issue when we were having the issue. I recently updated and now its working better, but there is a size difference when the featured image is shown when the image is not landscape. Is there a way to lock it down so all of the images display in the same size just if its portrait then it crops the photo to fit in the parameters.
I have use many other templates that do a great job of this and it helps to standardize the pictures better.
No worries – all fixed – I updated and disabled some plugins – all fixed!
Thanks for the response nonetheless :)
I have installed and am implementing Sensei by WooThemes and I need to change the way the quizzes display. How do I change the style of this?
Here is an image of what it looks like currently:

Is it possible to have the photos in an Enfold gallery come from a NextGen Gallery? For instance, I would like to be able to load the images in this Gallery (http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/portfolio-item/lorem-ipsum/) from one of my NextGen galleries instead of having to re-upload all of my NextGen galleries into WordPress Galleries.
Hi,
is there the possibility to use the fade in animation for Images inside the “Team Member Item”, for the pictures of “Portfolio Grid” and also for Pictures that used in third party PlugIns?
I want to use Distinctive Testimonials from Envato to display the Testimonials, because it gives me the possibility to handle them like Posts.

Your own from Enfold can´t give me this very handy function.
But it will be very nice to become your nice Fade-in effects, during scroll down the site.. Any idea?
Best regards,
Bruno
Hi DavyE!
Please add following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options
.image-overlay { background: #8f44ad; }

Hey!
We need to see it live to provide you a solution. Can you create one dummy page and post its link?
Cheers!

Hey Devin,
Some things have changed after updating to 2.3:
2) This issue is still occurring, although now the menu also disappears completely instead of switching to the mobile menu at certain sizes.
http://s23.postimg.org/g76as3dbv/Screen_Shot_2013_10_04_at_9_27_12_AM.png
3) The search icon now only displays correctly after mousing over it.. Until that point it remains a rectangle. I’ve cleared my cache several times.
5) The only plug-in I’m using that would affect image size would be respond.js. Other than that I’m modifying a few specific image sizes via the custom CSS for IE8 fixes as directed by the support team.
Thanks,
Tom

The Problem ist that jquery will be not loaded in IE. This is why some Elements do not work on PC.
And on Mac I can see only the blank page.

Could you solve this problem?

Hi guys
Please see here for the website I am doing for a client:
http://217.147.86.171/~mainline/
They have asked for some revisions that I don’t know how to do:
1. Where there is the ‘request a brochure’ in the sidebar, instead they want a button that when clicked opens up a pop-up that then requests the details
2. The 4 icons below the slideshow: I have used ‘For Homes’, ‘For Business’ to jump to the appropriate section of the website.
They want: ‘onHover the box is ‘highlighted’ then the user can choose whether they want to go to the domestic or commercial part of the website’.
So I guess they mean a little menu pop-out with ‘For homes’ and ‘For business’
Possible?
Thanks
Masten
My site is still in maintenance mode, but it is the same with the ENFOLD demo theme:
the round circled images in front of each comment is also no longer there at the demo, take a look here:
http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/2012/12/12/lorem-ipsum-dolor-sit-amet-consectetuer-adipiscing-elit-aenean-commodo-ligula-eget-dolor-aenean-massa/
No image in front of each comment!
EDIT:
I just discovered, that this is obviously a browser issue:
The circled images in front of the comments (at the DEMO!!!) are not there in Firefox 24.0 (Javascript enabled), but in Opera and Chrome browser they are there. I use Windows desktop 7 prof. 64bit:
Opera & Chrome browser:

Firefox 24.0 under Windows 7 prof. 64bit:

See here the Firebug result:

DavyE could I ask what cookies plugin you used on your website transics?
Hi, this is a question, not an explanation. I’m wondering how Enfold ‘scales’ images in for example a Fullscreen Slider.
The picture, which could be tens or even hundreds of Kb, does it stay in the same quality when you open that page with a mobile device, or is it automatically replaced by a smaller version of that image?
I assume not, but with the fact that WP creates several sizes of each uploaded image, I thought there may be a way to request a different size for different resolutions through media queries etc.

Hi Josue,

Hey!
The password and user are incorrect. Can you give us a link to the actual page with gallery images?
Best regards,
Ismael
Big preview, single author
and this is what I want to be included in every featured (not cropped) blog image,
img.attachment, img.frame, .media {
padding: 7px;
background: #FFF;
display: block;
-moz-box-shadow: 0px 1px 2px -1px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.3);
box-shadow: 0px 1px 2px -1px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.3);
-webkit-box-shadow: 0px 1px 3px -1px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.25);
}
.media iframe {
display: block;
}

Hello!
I’m testing in Firefox (Mac) and i yet don’t see that border, i’ll tag the rest of the staff to see if they see anything.

Regards,
Josue
I screen grabbed two images, the logo and a post image that shows a bottom and right line on the image. Some of my logos are doing the same. I wonder if its firefox. it never did it before.

Hi simchippy!
I don’t see it, mind posting a screenshot?

Regards,
Josue
Devin, why would it have an issue with it now in the current update and not before? I put it there as I need some extra whitespace above the image. Is there another way to get this whitespace?
Glad you figured it out. Let us know if you have any other questions or issues :)
Regards,
Josue
Hi ChaosWeb!
You can add this on your custom.css or Quick CSS:
.bundled_product.bundled_product_summary.product .images a img {
width: 200px;
}
Adjust the width if necessary.
Cheers!
Ismael
http://www.healthyrowan.com All of the images we have on the site now are landscape because the site is public.
Hey mikaelsv!
There are small and big featured images. What type of Blog are you using right now? Please check your settings on Enfold > General Settings > Blog Style. Post it here.
