Hey Guys,
Question for you I tried to make a post that included a featured image, then some text, then read more link, then a enfold gallery element.
the blog page looks normal but when you view the actual post page the enfold gallery is at the very top and pushed the normal blog heading and text I wrote to the bottom of the post. Also something else is weird. On post pages whatever you set the column count of the gallery to, it displays one less but has a blank area to the right.
for example if you say 3 columns it only makes 2 columns but a space to the right with a blank 3rd column. Please advise why the enfold gallery behaves strangely on post pages verses a normal page?
Thanks
Dear Sirs,
Can you please guide me, how to to resize the banner located in the sidebar?
Or is there any plugin / shortcode or any other way that can easily add image as banner into sidebar with bigger size as shown in the screenshot?
Currently, the banner size is limited to certain maximum size only, although i already change the banner size in the plugin.
This banner will act as menu to another page of the website.
Original site at : http://register-unifi.com/
Planning to the theme to enfold. Currently doing changes in my PC.

Thank you.

Hi!
You can add following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options
.related_image_wrap { height: 36px; }

Without having to do a lot of development work, is it possible through CSS to increase the size of the main product image on single product pages? An example of what I am referring to can be found here on the Nike store: http://store.nike.com/us/en_us/pd/pro-hyperwarm-compression-dri-fit-max-mock-shirt/pid-772161/pgid-537585
I attempted to change the Image Options within WooCommerce > Catalog but see no change in image size.
Thanks in advance!
HI
I have two design ideas.
1) One is to place a background image (animated gif) on the HomePage. Any pointers would be appreciated
2) I have made png’s which are partially transparent ofor the Portfolio items featured images. When they appear on the portfolio grid they are given a box that seems not to be transparent. I would like just my translucent images (with rounded corners) to appear over the background image. Is Ajax a problem for gaining such style control? Again – any pointers would be appreciated.
regards
Tim
Hi!
I believe this is actually on purpose. If you look at the way default WooCommerce pages are shown, the product title is right next to the image. If we also added it into the header (as we used to with older themes) there are a lot of complaints for SEO issues.
So in this case, the individual product page does not have the product title where the page title typically is in the breadcrumb area to prevent you from having a negative SEO effect.
Cheers!

Hi awsystems!
If you have commented out the lightbox activation in the javascript file then the lightbox is coming from something outside of the theme. Make sure you don’t have any other plugins with lightbox functions in them and that the server doesn’t have any caching as well.
Just in case, make sure any changes you are making to the avia.js file are on the live server and not local. Its an often overlooked step to check.

Devin
I’m unable to connect and log in to the site at the moment. Keep getting an eventual timeout error.

Hello!
I have following problem: at the end of post, there is area with thumbnails of related posts – how to make them be equal size, resized?
Example:
http://kino-casting.ru/nikolay-vasilevich-nevrev-chast-2/
The new masonry stuff is beautiful, thank you! I’m testing it now though I’m having trouble getting posts without featured images to display properly (here’s my test site). For example, my link posts don’t display the large, pretty link post icon yours do. Example:

Any idea what’s up?

Hi,
How can i change the size of the images showing in ajax portfolio display?
I changed the “gallery size” to maximum width 600px x maximum height 600px with the simple image size plugin but whatever size i am uploading f.e 600×600 it resizes to 684×684.
thanks
Hi Peter, thanks for replying
I did so but each sub-options of the ‘Hide’ option simply breaks the page.
Is there some specific values that I need to select )and I tried them all I think) to make it work?
Hey!
Yes, you can use the “blank template” which hides the menu and footer areas. Or you can hide the menu with the “conditional menu” option. It helps you to show/hide certain menu items on certain pages. See: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-conditional-menu/
Best regards,
Peter
Ok, I have found the problem for the text issue: I have copied the text from google drive document and it probably had some hidden paragraph characters in side. sorry for the wast of posts… :(
Well, last small issue: is there a way to avoid the header menu (the ‘under-construction’ tab in the current site)?
Ok, at least I have resolved one problem: the broken page was due to the menu; It should have attached values to it (which does not sit good with my landing page concept…). Is there a way to avoid the menu from this page?
The text problem is still ON
Would any of you know how to put one of these social icon – sliders on my site? I have attached an image of what I’m referring to.
Any help would be much appreciated. I’ve seen some plug ins but the feedback on them hasn’t been very good.

Hey!
Please add this on your custom.css or Quick CSS to remove the scrollbar:
.four.units.single-product-main-image.alpha {
overflow: hidden;
}
Cheers!

Hi!
The masonry grid is the incorrect item do the kind of layout you are looking for. It will always be full width and the item width is recalculated based on the screen size. So on larger sizes the small number of photos shown may not be enough to fill the screen,
If you just want 4 columns with links then you can use 4 1/4 content elements with either an image or text element with the image+link inside.

Hi all,
I’m trying to use a better lightbox for the Enfold template. I installed Responsive Lightbox (http://www.dfactory.eu/plugins/responsive-lightbox/) which is a great solution for swiping images on mobile devices and much more appealing than the standard lightbox that comes with Endfold/wordpress.
Unfortunately after install it, I’m getting duplicated light boxes: the original and the “responsive lightbox” as well.
Does anyone come up with a solution for this?, is there any responsive lightbox that works well with the theme?
I would appreciate an answer.
Thank you very much.
Hey!
Link to image still seems to be broken. Please change Ismael’s code with following one. It should fix both gradient issue and button on your second link
.main_color input[type='submit'], .header_color input[type='submit'], div .header_color .button {
background-color: #c05f5f;
color: #ffffff;
border-color: #a03d3d;
border-radius: 3px;
background-image: url("https://dev.midischool.com/wp-content/themes/enfold/images/layout/bg-button.png");
background-repeat: repeat-x;
background-position: 0 0;
padding: 10px;
font-size: 12px;
text-decoration: none;
display: inline-block;
border-style: solid;
border-width: 1px;
margin: 3px 0;
line-height: 1.2em;
position: relative;
font-weight: 600;
text-align: center;
max-width: 100%;
}
.avia_ajax_form .button {
margin: 0;
padding: 16px 50px;
border-radius: 2px;
border-bottom-width: 1px;
border-bottom-style: solid;
font-weight: normal;
font-size: 12px;
}
input[type="submit"], #submit, .button {
padding: 9px 22px;
cursor: pointer;
border: none;
-webkit-appearance: none;
}
Best regards,
Yigit
On IE9, the full width image will not load at the top of this page http://www.serverlift.com/contact/sales/
yet the same full width plugin (advanced editor full width image) with a different image, loads on the majority of our other pages, like here http://www.serverlift.com/solutions/products/sl1000x-server-lift/
and
http://www.serverlift.com/support/
I checked the settings and they are all set to the same thing, any ideas why its not working?

Image isn’t loading, but sounds like a plan. I checked on two computers now and both cutoff the logo in IE8.
Thanks – look forward to hearing what Josue sees.
Hey Jan!
This is possible. Just add an image and edit it. You can add html tags on the caption area of the images. Something like:
<a href="LINK HERE" target="_blank">Read More...</a>
Regards,
Ismael
Hi kaMai!
You replace these lines with the get_post_meta for custom fields:
//on single page replace the link with a fullscreen image
if(is_singular())
{
$link = avia_image_by_id(get_post_thumbnail_id(), 'large', 'url');
}
//echo preview image
if(strpos($blog_style, 'big') !== false)
{
if($slider) $slider = '<a href="'.$link.'">'.$slider.'</a>';
if($slider) echo '<div class="big-preview '.$blog_style.'">'.$slider.'</div>';
}
Cheers!
Ismael

Hi cirrus05!
In my opinion there is no way to display tables on mobile devices as they are on bigger screens. An idea though; each column could be added as linked images right under actual table and only be visible on mobile devices while actual table is hidden. If you would like to give it a try and see how it will look, please create a temporary admin login and post it here privately and i can do it for you.

Yigit
