Almost worked! But it ignores the horizontal ruler whitespace of 500px I put inside of it. And it goes all the way up to the header.
i have a few rollovers on my home page and those images are linked. how do i not use the standard image styling for these hand coded image links? by standard image styling i mean when you move your mouse over the image you’ll see the slightly-animated right arrow meaning “click for more”

I have added this code and it works well, but how do I get padding on the right hand side, as currently the wording goes right to the edge of the image.
And I mean the actual background colours in the footer, currently grey.

I wanted to know if it is possible to link a portfolio item to a specific page or post instead of the media that is shown in the portfolio. Or is there another way to have a filterable style gallery that will show an image and link to either a post or page.

I don’t think that would be possible, you’d need to rely on the color section element (set #background-thing as the ID).

I apologize, I meant I wanted the pano to be it’s own block, and the rest of the page content to stack beneath the div.
It would be nice if the image itself was fixed, but similar to setting a background image for a color section I’d like the image to disappear as you scroll down.

That made it work!
But how do I make the rest of the content fall below the #background-thing div? It all just stacks on top now.

You have this error in the console:
Uncaught TypeError: Property ‘$’ of object [object Object] is not a function
Try the following, replace each of the ‘$’ by ‘jQuery’ in your javascript code.

I’m working on new video tutorials for the portfolio items but they aren’t quite ready unfortunately.
The single portfolio view is exactly like creating a page. You add in your content and it gets shown.
When viewing a group of portfolio items you use a regular page and add in a portfolio element from the Advanced Layout builder to that page and then select what groups and how many to display.
The Featured Image (http://en.support.wordpress.com/featured-images/) you set on each portfolio item will get shown in that grid display. When clicked, it takes you to the single portfolio item page.
If you choose to use the Ajax portfolio where the items appear on the same page as the portfolio grid then the content for that individual portfolio item needs to be set in the meta box under the visual editor:

I’ve tried some of the variety of css coding that enfold users have put on the forum, but nothing seems to allow the header height to resize to take my 300px x 300px header logo. Any ideas.
I think I did actually manage to show the full size header, but the line at the bottom of the header area stayed fixed and my logo ran over it.
Does anyone have some css that will fix this, or allow me to add any size logo, regardless of height/width (obviously within reason).
Loving the theme though, fab!!
Any idea why this won’t work? I found this script somewhere (and have it working locally), but I’m not good at all with Javascript and am suspecting I can’t just plug it into the WP theme this simply.

I want to create a gallery almost identical to this http://adamelmakias.com/portfolio/press/ with a set number of columns that display high quality square thumbnails of the same size and are flush together. You click on a thumbnail and it opens the lightbox and you can key though the images.
How can I achieve this? I tried the fullwidth masonry gallery and set the thumbnails to the same size. It wasn’t quite square thumbnails and I don’t want the gallery to be full width. I want there to be a small margin on each side of the page. Is there a way to achieve the same look from the website above using a grid gallery? I don’t want borders on the pictures.
A dimming feature of the other images that the mouse is over would be cool too.

Hey!
Yes, 1920px wide and whatever height you want. The 100% width means the image will always be stretched to fit the size of the window.
The slideshow doesn’t have the option to choose where the image is constrained as far as I know so that wouldn’t be an option.
For a contact form in a widget you would need to use a third party plugin.

What is the actual link to the page? Automated browser tests like the referenced site are only usable for very basic testing. Image transitions, javascript effects or css effects after loading etc will all fail to render and make it look like a page isn’t working.
CSS errors/warnings will happen with w3c validation since we have to use various means to offer cross browser support and full backwards compatibility.
In the future, please do not self bump your posts. Our queue goes by oldest commented item to newest so self commenting just moves the topic to the end of the line and not the beginning.

No, that isn’t easily possible. You would need to have a freelance developer customize the ajax portfolio view to allow for that to happen.

I’m adding a gallery with the Gallary module in the media modules. When scrolling over the image the image goes dim (like some kind of hovering effect). Can this be removed?

Since updating to the latest version of Enfold all javascript/jquery image transitions (mouseovers, lightboxes etc) stopped working. Do more people experience this problem? It seems that no javascript is executed.Follow up: I had to revert back to a (very) old version I had on my hard drive, but would like to use the version before the last. Does anyone have that version available?
