    I have placed a Navigation widget in my footer that is displaying a ‘current page’ state that I do not want. I believe this may be caused by custom CSS I am using to provide a ‘current state’ for Parent>child>CHILD pages in the side navigation. The code is

    .current_page_item {
      background: #fcfcfc;
      box-shadow: 0px 0px 1px 0px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.2);
    }

    Is there any way that I can have the footer navigation appear with no ‘current’ page state?

    Also, in the latest news preview images, when the featured news item is a video nothing shows up in the thumbnail box. This is occurring in the footer and the news pages.

    A separate problem I am having with the side navigation is that when reducing browser size, some of the menu items disappear under the main content section. Is there code that I can add to force it to hard return?

    Thanks again for all your help!

    Would you happen to know how they created the portfolio look?

    When creating a text frame over a full image/color section is there a way to make the background of that text box a color (white) not clear?

    http://eliengleson.com/wordpress/?p=734

    Still in progress… I’d like to be able to put a white box under the the type on the right side. As well Id like to use a caption under the photos…and timed scroll. Any ideas?

    Hi Josue.
    I’ve made the slider full width now to remove the background issues, and the ‘bumping’ issues I’ll live with.
    I also noticed in Mozilla that when hovering over the the linked images on the home page, the text beneath it bumps down noticeably. Does this have something to do with the overlay? Is there anyway to stop this?

    Thank you for your help!

    Hi,

    I have a problem with horizontal spacing. Could you please show me how can I remove such horizontal spacing. Please see image below. The spacing I wish to eliminate is marked in red.

    Topic: Image Mouseover Help

    in forum Enfold

    I’m trying to create a mouseover image on the homepage, but there is a default mouseover installed into the theme that overrides my manual code. I did not add any plugins, everything is pretty much original.

    <a href="http://papermaxnew.blueicegraphix.com/about-us/sample-request/" target="_blank"><img class="alignnone" onmouseover=" this.src='http://papermaxnew.blueicegraphix.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/Coated_Uncoated_Moveover.png'" onmouseout=" this.src='http://papermaxnew.blueicegraphix.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/Coated_Uncoated.png'" alt="" src="http://papermaxnew.blueicegraphix.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/Coated_Uncoated.png" /></a>

    Trying to figure out a way to disable the ‘default mouseover’ feature built into the theme on the homepage or if there is a way to override it.

    http://papermaxnew.blueicegraphix.com

    Its the only image on my homepage besides the banner.

    Thank you,

    Michael

    At the moment we are trying to work out some bugs that have popped up with various clients and with seemingly no one specific source. Some users are having no issues with video embeds while others are. It seems to depend on the specific OS.

    One limitation with iOS is that no videos will autoplay and will always take user interaction for them to play. I’ve not had any issues with it on my W7 or OSX setups but again, mileage so far is varied and we are trying to find the source of it.

    The update added support for video on the slideshows *and* the color sections. You need to choose video instead of image on the slideshow:

    For you issues, make sure that the video is not set to private and that the videos can be embeded. Regular video embedding was unchanged this update so adding in a video to a regular post or page should work as normal with WordPress.

    +100 for woocommerce product sidebar
    The big reason for all the requests for sidebar on woocommerce product pages is the current poor usability on the responsive mobile as the everywhere sidebar and optionally other sidebar content get placed below the main image pushing the product content way down the page.
    Moving the description and reviews tabbed content to the left and below the product image(s) and adding sidebar to right seems to be the most prevalent layout I’ve seen in other themes.
    Thanks Team Kriesi you guys rock!

    Hi Yigit,

    How about css code that will give the border and dropshadow to the blog thumbnails and images?

    Thanks for your help

    It doesn’t work.
    Our videos on Youtube will not play. Just a black screen. Nor, would either one of the example videos you included in your GUI backend. It didn’t work in Explorer, nor Firefox. I copied what you did in the video step-for-step. I also tried the standard embed format with Youtube rather than a straight copy of the standard URL. You are probably aware that they are different.

    As a separate note, we are now on our 3rd hour on this, just to test out your demo video. The first two hours was trying to figure out where you stuck the feature on the backend. After three manual uploads to update for this feature, we were still striking out. We assumed the update was not uploaded correctly or there was an issue, so we decided to look for documentation. FYI, we do not ask for help the first time we encounter an issue. Probably unlike most folks on the forum.

    Here’s a simple suggestion and remedy. Just tell folks it’s in a color background widget. The obvious place to look is the “add Youtube” feature in a Layer slider, but that’s not where it is. You should state this in straightforward text format on the example video. It may not be the correct eye candy to include on your sales page because you are focused on revenues rather than support documentation ;-) there.

    Before we spend any more time on this, Q. Will this feature work with autoplay on the background video. Your demo pages require that you click on the background video in order to get it playing. Something most site visitors will not do, nor will they know to click on it and will just think it is just a big fuzzy background image. Great feature, but it appears it needs to be ironed out a little further.

    Thanks.

    Coud you or some developer try it ? I’ll give you temporary access to my dashboard.

    #227654

    I did this. But images are always same size.

    #227649

    Hey miso00!

    You’ll set the image size using WooCommerce as you’ve done. After you must regenerate all of your images thumbnails however to use this new size. You can use this plugin to do that: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/

    Hi websitegurus!

    I’ve not done one quite yet since Kriesi is still ironing out some bugs for it but the steps are the same as adding images to a regular slider except you use video urls instead.

    I went over the basics of adding in video content here but for the color sections: https://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/86284134

    Hi,
    How do I have to change size of images in porduct catalog ? If I change resolution in woocommerce product options it has no effect. I tryed thumbnail restore and browser cache deletion. Now I have set catalog resolution to 450×450, because in other resolutions images are blurry. But size in catalog is definitely not 450p.
    Please help. I would prefer 200×200 catalog images.

    In reply to: Fullscreen 3 columns

    Hi!

    You don’t have the container named correctly. It should be the same ID as what the css is. In this case, the css has awesome-section but you have awesome_section. So the css doesn’t actually effect your layout at all.

    The issue however is that I don’t think your layout idea will work without quite a bit more custom css. Anything you add that isn’t inside a fullwidth element is going to be inside of a container so it wont be fullwidth. The images inside of them will only stretch to fit 100% height and also not scale. You would need to have them set as background images and use the css3 background: cover or something like it to get the content to fit and continue to scale.

    I would recommend a freelance developer from somewhere like Microlancer or Codeable to create the custom layout for you if its a must-have feature.

    Devin

    Hello guys. I have an image inside of a Color Section box. Now for some reason their is padding being added to the bottom of the image. I’ve reset my Color Section box CSS to have no padding in the bottom at all. I’ve also tried it without the color section box but for some reason it’s still adding padding below on the image. So it is unfortunately looking bleh.

    I would like to use the Image Media Element in the Avia advanced editor to load movies from Vimeo in a lightbox using PrettyPhoto. This almost works perfectly accept that the iframe that gets created does not honor the HTTPS setting of the link, and therefor is blocked because the host page is running in https.

    Just to be clear. I am setting the link in the Image Media Element to https://www.vimeo.com?id=32423432, but the iframe is getting a HTTP:// based src.

    What can I do to fix this. I already have child them of enfold. I can hack if you tell me where to look

    Thanks

    I’m only seeing a very subtle vertical bump when the image loads, not a white/gray background or something like that.

    #227603

    Hi!

    I am still seeing the changes ( http://i.imgur.com/wJIzZzo.jpg ) and Josue confirmed that he is seeing as well. In this case there is nothing else we can do as code is being applied just fine and issue could be related with your browser, if you have flushed cache properly.
    Please add following code to Quick CSS as well

    .avia-content-slider .slide-image { border: solid 2px red;
    box-shadow: 0 0 12px 1px rgba(0,0,0,0.3);
    }

    Best regards,

    Hey ftt123!

    Please add a Color Section element to your page and enter six-columns in “For Developers” section and add six 1/5 column elements inside that color section and place your images inside them. Then add following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under Styling tab

    #six-columns  .column-top-margin { margin-top: 0px !important; }
    #six-columns div .av_one_fifth { width: 15%!important; margin-left: 2%; }
    #six-columns .first { margin-left: 0!important; clear: none; }
    #six-columns .el_after_av_one_fifth { margin-left: 2%!important; }

    Hello.

    I’m sorry but I’ve viewed the site from multiple computers and devices and am still not seeing the styling in your screenshots. Wondering what if anything additional we could do? On the homepage, we are displaying recent blog posts. http://visiteldorado.wpengine.com/ (hosted on WPengine) We would also like the blog thumbnail to have the same styling we’ve applied to the images. Could you help us with the css to make that happen? Maybe focusing on this other area can help shed some light on the first one.

    Thanks

    Hi, Getting some very random things turn up, when I create a gallery it seems to automatically tag an extra item into the lightbox Eg. where I have 3 images uploaded and chosen the ligthbox shows 4 and then loads up a youtube video. Also getting random links when clicking on menu page items etc.. This may be down to the core files but this is the only theme I have experienced these issues with. Please could you advise if you are aware of anything.. I am getting this for instance in the the Main Div for the page before anything.

    <style>.gutschein{position: absolute; font-color:#ddd; top:-1668px; font-size:10;}</style>waeschetrockner test <style>.camcorder{position: absolute; font-color:#ddd; top:-1668px; font-size:10;}</style>camcorder test<div id=’layer_slider_1′ class=’avia-layerslider main_color avia-shadow avia-builder-el-0 avia-builder-el-first container_wrap fullsize’ style=’height: 471px;’ ><script type=”text/javascript”>var lsjQuery = jQuery;</script><script type=”text/javascript”>

    which is obviously tagging itself to the layerslider?

    I have just checked your website on Firefox 27.0.1 on Win7 and slider arrows are not visible when mouse is not over slider http://i.imgur.com/IK3LGlW.jpg
