    When I updated my staging site with the new theme update and when I pushed to the production site, I get this error:

    Looka like lots of duplicates in this folder?

    Hi,

    I’m trying to move (not update) my WP from http://www.website.com/folder to http://www.website.com according to
    https://wordpress.org/support/article/changing-the-site-url/ .
    The result is a technical error, stating like

    error of the type E_ERROR on line 8 of the file […]/www/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/events_countdown.php.     How can I fix/move my site without this issue, or reinstalling the whole site?

    Hi, I´m trying to update from Enfold 3.8.5 to 4.7.3 and when I do this web crashes. I´ve enabled debug function and the errors appearing are these. Could you give me a hint of what it can be? (Now I´ve gone back to Enfold 3.8.5)

    Hey Patrick,

    You need to delete this file
    themes/2hconsult/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/events_countdown.php

    It has moved to its own folder and the update process was not able to delete it.

    Hi,
    I’m helping a friend who just bought the latest version of Enfold and came up with a problem when activing it. He has a regular account and license (see below), but please send your advice to me.

    We’ve had problems from the start. Whenever we try to activate it, this is what it says:

    There seems to be 2 different files events_countdown in 2 different locations. Is that normal? Could that be the problem?

    FYI, site was down all day. Due to Enfold error:

    It seems Enfold theme copies 2 php files from wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes into new folders named for the php file. This creates redundancies that will not allow the new site to open.

    How to fix this issue:

    2) Go to the folder wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/

    3) Remove the events_countdown & the events_upcoming folders inside the avia-shortcodes folder. This will remove the redundancy.

    4)Clear your cache and visit the site’s login page. This should get rid of the fatal error.

    It may be worth mentioning to the theme developer.

    I just downloaded the latest version of Enfold. Site crashed. In the midst of getting my hosting company to try and get it resolved.

    Sorry if there is an answer for this, I cannot find it. I’ve just updated to 4.5 from a fairly old version and I’m running WP5.3
    I uploaded the lastest theme via FTP and overwrote the main Enfold folder.

    Hello –

    First off, I LOVE the Enfold theme and recommend it to anyone building a site on WordPress.

    I recently updated WP to 5.3, and found that I am unable to add new photos to existing galleries, masonry, etc. I just get this blank screen: (http://stage.ridebdr.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/enfold-blank-scaled.png)

    When i tried to update my Enfold Theme, hoping this will solve the issue:
    1) The update on WP Enfold says I have the latest update :: “No Updates available. You are running the latest version! (4.2.1)” which i know is not correct.
    2) When i try to update the theme via FTP, I get a fatal error and have to restore from backup.

    Error Below:

    I was having some error displaying some items on woocommerce page. I read that I needed to update the theme to the latest to effect the change. |After updating to the latest enfold theme, the whole site stops loading with the following error:

    Hi,
    Sorry for the late reply and thanks for the login, I see that your theme is up to date and your page was reporting an error with the plugin “Easy Google fonts” which had not fonts selected so I disabled to resolve the error, even though there are no errors now your event countdown is not working. I exported your events to my localhost and created a page with the event countdown using your same settings and it works for me.

    I suspect that a plugin is causing the error or an error occurred during your last update, assuming the countdown worked before the update, how did you update? I see that you have a plugin “Easy Updates Manager” did you use this?
    I checked the events_countdown.php file and it matches mine.
    I recommend disabling your plugins to see if that solves it and if not please include FTP access in the Private Content area so we can try updating your theme with a fresh version.

    I think an update has thrown out the alignment of the slider of my home page. I have tried to run updates on plugins/theme but then nothing changes. To try and problem solve I attempted to disable all 3rd party plugins which then causes the website to have a fatal error. When this happens there is nothing I can do except restore an older version of the website.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the staging site – and sorry for the late reply.

    I could not find a logical reason why the first event is skipped in the query – could be the offset parameter, the only difference to the upcoming event query.

    As a workaround I start the query now 4 days before (interesting that 1 day before also does not return the first event). See line 113ff in events_countdown.php of your child theme.

    As this might cause problems to other users also I will add an option for that to the core.

    yes, there is still a problem with the events countdown I missed in that update.

    Please update enfold\config-templatebuilder\avia-shortcodes\events_countdown\events_countdown.php

    with

    https://github.com/KriesiMedia/enfold-library/blob/master/temp_fixes/Enfold_4_5_6/events_coutdown/events_countdown.php.

    This should fix the problem. Is already merged in the next update.

    If you need help with the update let us know and we can do it for you.

    Do not forget to clear server and browser cache and keep a copy for a fallback.

    Hey!

    Thanks for reporting this.

    Events Calendar has also changed the internal post structure (replaced EventStartDate with event_date). That caused function already_started returning true.

    I have replaced the code for this file and still have no luck.
    Additionally, while the plugin was not originally on this installation, I added it the plugins folder via ftp but still can’t get the Fatal error to go a way. What else can I do?
