Hi,
I have imported an Enfold demo that I am shaping to my needs. I can not figure out how to remove the “Learn More and Get In Touch” buttons that are at the top of the home page.Here is a link for reference:

Hi. Have an issue where the burger menu icon and the block overlay appear, but the menu itself does not. Following a previous thread I installed enable-jquery-migrate-helper and cleared cache, but no change.

Okay, thank you, that worked, but it has always worked outside of the box without css; has something changed, pictures aren’t part of the mega menus anymore?
It also seems really small. Take a look at another site I created with Enfold, where I added images to the Mega Menu with no trouble. They appear much larger: https://takemetheresailing.com/ And, if I change the pixels in the css you provided, from say 300 to 400, it steals space from the 3rd column, so didn’t really work.

well if there is a link to your site in private content area – i do not see as a participant.

the height is in dependency to the content.
You only have the chance to minimise some paddings or margins – f.e.:
the footer container itself got padding:#footer { padding: 15px 0 30px 0; /*** top and bottom paddings ***/ }each widget got a top/bottom margin of 30px
#footer .widget { margin: 30px 0 30px 0; /*** top and bottom margins ***/ }the widget titles got a top margin of 0.85em
.flex_column .widget .widgettitle, .content .widget .widgettitle { margin-top: 0.85em; /*** top margin ***/ }you can override all these rules with lower values in your quick css

Hi lieni,
You can put it into the parent, but it will be overwritten on updates. If you only want to transfer theme settings to your child, then you can do so under Enfold->Import/Export, once you have activated your child theme.

Thanks for the login details. Could you try updating the theme to the latest version (4.9.2) to see if that helps please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update. The update is available in the theme options, if you select to check manually. If updating doesn’t help, then please try updating your PHP version to 7.4 or higher.

thx for your reply. But as mentioned, the “Custom Element” is not an option, because it doesn’t do what we need. We also know the Debug mode and possibility to copy/paste Shortcodes.The Plugin “Enfold Repeatable Content” would have the Functionality, but because it’s old i have concernes.
Functionality should be like a WP Widget:
– Create an Element or Section with multiple Elements incl. Content etc.
– Use this on multiple Pages
– Change Elements & Content later in 1 place. And this updates it everywhere on the website where it is used.Anyway, seems there is currently nothing like this planned. Maybe concider it, i think this is very helpful.

Thanks for the update. Those are the only options available in the theme at the moment. The Custom Elements are probably what I would recommend that you go for, even though you can’t create whole sections. But it’s easy enough save all the elements you need, and then drag them to the layout. You could also create a page for the content which you want to repeat, then simply copy the shortcodes in that page to where you want the content. You will need to enable debug mode if you want to see shortcodes: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/intro-to-advanced-layout-builder/#debug-mode

I deactivated all nonessential plugins, then tested to see if there were any posts appearing at https://pilgrimcenterofhope.org/tag/pilgrimage-local/
There were none still.
So, I deactivated other plugins one-by-one. After I deactivated the latest version of The Events Calendar, my posts appeared on https://pilgrimcenterofhope.org/tag/pilgrimage-local/
I also tried rolling back several versions of The Events Calendar, but I got halfway down the list and still there was a conflict.So, I can only imagine that this issue is related to something in the Enfold update and/or WordPress update, since we recently updated both the theme and our version of WordPress to the latest versions. We had already been using the latest version of The Events Calendar.
I assume we are not the only ones who use this plugin with Enfold. What might be the source of this problem?

Hi,
I’m not sure I understand the problem, are you saying that you lose all the content from your site if you activate the child? If you are only missing the styling from the parent, then you can import the settings under Enfold->Import/Export->Import Settings From Your Parent Theme.

Sorry for the problem. This problem seems to only occur on sites where the sidebar name is translated, please try replacing enfold\includes\admin\register-widget-area.php with this file: https://github.com/KriesiMedia/enfold-library/blob/master/temp_fixes/Enfold_4_9_2/includes/register-widget-area.php

Dear Kriesi-Team,
I just applied a custom change to one of my clients websites and would appreciate it very much, if you can implement that change in the next version / update of Enfold.
Situation:- We are able to substitute Google Fonts with locally uploaded fonts, which in turn prevents us from any trouble (e.g. GDPR) relating to working with Google Fonts.
- However as soon as we integrate Google Maps, which is obviously still ok from a GDPR perspective, after getting user consent, the Google Maps script will load Roboto and Google-Sans-Text fonts from Google Fonts, which counteracts with the idea above.
I found the following script to work when it comes to preventing Google Maps script to load Google Fonts. However, the script doesn’t work from my Child Theme .js, but had to be integrated in enfold/framework/js/conditional_load/avia_google_maps_api.js to take effect.
In Enfold 4.9.2 I pasted the below code to avia_google_maps_api.js, right after

unfortunately we can’t Google Maps working.
We get the following message in the console:
“Google Maps JavaScript API warning: NoApiKeys https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#no-api-keys”What we checked:
– valid billing
– no IP restrictions or anything else
– success message for valid key in enfold backendAny idea why it’s not working or adding the key?
Topic: Appearing speed of the menue
Hi Enfold-Team,
for a clean entrance to my site I choosed in the settings for the menue, that it has to appear after scroling the site, which works fine.But – is it possible to edit the speed of the menue appearing, I mean the speed of pulling down? I want to slow down that moving a little bit – and If this possible as well – set the moment of appearance a little later.

Hi,
on a website I saw that you can display info in a kind of fly out box (is that what it’s called?), which is always visible at a certain place on the right side of the page. In need it for an actual web design. When you move the cursor over it, the window or box opens to the left. I have a few questions about this:
1. is it possible to implement this with Enfold?
2. I need a field for the icon and one for the information.
3. is it also possible to put a widget or a field with HTML code for a background music player in this fly out box?Thank you very much for the answer.

Thank you for the info.
The site is using an older version of the theme, 4.7.6.4. Please make sure to update the theme to version 4.9.2, then toggle or temporarily disable the Enfold > Performance > File Compression settings. If the issues persists, go to the plugins panel and install the Classic Widgets plugin.

Thank you for the inquiry.
But, can I edit in bulk when using the advanced layout builder?
This is not possible, unfortunately. You can only save the content as builder template and manually apply it on other products. You can also use global elements or custom element templates (CET), which can be updated globally but you will still have to manually edit them.

Thanks a lot for the credentials.
I could locate the problem. It was caused by adding translateable strings for the sidebar names which broke activating them in frontend.
I reverted this back on your test site.I added the fix to core and we will make a hotfix in the next days.
The file changed is enfold\includes\admin\register-widget-area.php

Would you mind giving us a link to the page containing the heading element? You may need to apply a custom css class name or ID to the element in the Advanced > Developer Settings panel. The following documentation might help.
