You should be able to select the option to be notified from Themeforest in your Downloads section for Enfold whenever the files get updated on their servers.

Please don’t make duplicate topics for the same question/issue. It makes it much more difficult to answer and clogs up search results when others are looking for answers.

Otherwise, its pretty simple to just add a button or specific content into the main header or even try building the layout you want with the advanced layout editor and a blank page template (no header or footer and all manually added content).

Topic: Enfold – fixed font-sizes?
Hi:
Just purchased this theme – I LOVE it… most flexible & well thought out I’ve seen.
I don’t really want fixed font sizes for body text & headers, but it looks like that is how the css is? base font 13px and then headers, starting with h6 at 14px? I see it here in base.css:
body {
font: 13px/1.65em “HelveticaNeue”, “Helvetica Neue”, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;
color: #444;
/* -webkit-font-smoothing: antialiased; /* Fix for webkit rendering */
-webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%;
}
though everywhere else font-size is “100%”.
If I add css to custom.css like this:
body {
font-size:100%;
}
It then uses my browser font size. Is this the correct way to do this? Will it adjust all the headers accordingly? Will mobile still be ok? Is there a reason that I should know why you used a fixed font-size…???
Just want to know so I don’t inadvertently break something…

Hi all, love this theme.
I’m trying to rebuild the features section from the demo, http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/features/ where there’s a sidebar on the left and content on the right which comes up depending what sidebar link is pressed.
This section unfortunately didn’t come with the demo content and I’m struggling to re-do it on my side.

what recommendation would you design experts give me on how to present a list of events?
I am running a series of webinars and would like to present visitors on the home page with a list of the upcoming webinars.
Today I have solved that with tagged posts for every webinar and a post-slider for this tag.

Where do i find the Lastest News widget which is shown in the footer of the demo? The standard one which comes with the enfold theme only shows text without the preview picture.

I’m glad its working for you now artistic24459. It would probably one of the updates that have been coming out pretty rapidly in the past week as I know Kriesi did some fixes here and there for Child themes.
Just make sure to keep an eye on the version.txt in the main folder you download from Themeforest whenever you download an update to see what has been changed specifically so you can update the duplicate in your child theme if you are replacing it.

I would like to have an options to put the social media icons into the footer and perhaps a widget. Another nice feature would be an options to adjust the height of the google map.

as you accepted to “Add option to add a link for Titles of Elemens like Iconbox and Iconlist” I would appreciate if the icon is linked as well.
Would be optimal if I could select Icon and/or Titel and/or whole box (Iconbox) to be linked…

There is something wrong with your setup. Something is interfering. And you got some weird issue with permalinks too. http://runforcourage2013.org/wp-content/themes/enfold/enfold/config-layerslider/LayerSlider/skins/.DS_Store/skin.css … for some reason your host is coming and showing advertisement on that page in their skin instead of that page being just a 404 error in your skin. You are also missing another css file as well. Perhaps your wordpress installation is corrupted.

You need to add your post type to the $boxes array in wp-contentthemesenfoldconfig-templatebuilderavia-template-builderconfigmeta.php
How to extend Avia layout builder to support CPT ?

Hi, just purchased this theme & playing around with it.
Some questions…
1. How can I add tags to portfolio items?
2. Is it possible to use Contact Forms inside Tabs/Accordions?
3. Is it possible to add Enfold Google Maps Widget to pages?
4. For portfolio categories, is it possible to use images showing as icons instead of just text?
For the above question 2 & 3, if not possible, than I guess the only work about way is to install plugins?

Hi
I would like to use the portfolio grid as a visual index to my content. Think of the image as the cover of a book [or in this case a newsletter].
When you click on the portfolio item I would like to go to another page [not the portfolio item]. Potentially a page somewhere else eg MailChimp.
In fact the suggestion I made would work just like the “Latest Themes” grid in the footer to this page! Except it woudln’t be a widget it would be functionality of the portfolio grid.
Otherwise I am loving the theme.

Is there a way to enlarge the textfield ? Settings in gravity forms settings (small, medium, large) have no influence on the output, textfield is always small (which is a shame if you want to use a subject field). How to enlarge a textfield similar to 100% / 50% in enfold formbuilder ???

Well have no idea what went wrong the first time. All working now. Thanks for the info along the way, made the problem solving a lot quicker.
I’m using a plugin that provides me with a few critical custom post types.
But when I edit those posts – I do not have access to things like Header On/Off, Sidebar selector, and other important Avia/Enfold settings.
Is this a matter of adding something to the CPT support array, in the plugin files?
Or is this something that has to be done within the Enfold theme itself?
Thank you for any direction you can offer on this.
