Thanks for the tip but it doesn’t change the page. The textboxes are too tall and there is too much vertical space between textbox elements. It renders perfectly with other themes but Enfold is perfect for us in every other way. How do I make this form work with the Enfold theme?
The page in question (after clicking the ‘share your prayer request’ button is: http://www.gatewaychurchtest.net/prayer-engine/
thanks!
should I download it again from theme forest?
Have tried everything I can think of at this point. No plugins are active and still can’t get a simple color change on header. Becoming a bit frustrating at this stage. I did not think this would be that difficult a task.
I have 6 files named “config.php” in the edit theme area.
Enfold: config.php (config-bbpress/config.php)
Enfold: config.php (config-gravityforms/config.php)
Enfold: config.php (config-layerslider/config.php)
Enfold: config.php (config-templatebuilder/config.php)
Enfold: config.php (config-woocommerce/config.php)
Enfold: config.php (config-wpml/config.php)
Which “config.php” would I add the code to? My guess is the “config-templatebuilder/config.php” but I do not want to make any changes before receiving developer input.
I have to totally agree with DigitalMedia. The blog styling could really use some improvements. Probably the only area in theme that I’m not crazy about. Perhaps the upcoming magazine style will help and possibly masonry style. And it would be nice to have an author block. Not sure why this isn’t included.
Outside of that, my only dislike in the theme is the lack of Load More function for portfolio and blog. This is so required in modern themes and should be provided as an option, instead of pagination. This really affects sorting in a portfolio. Hope this will be considered. Thanks.
hello
whenever I open the website using ENFOLD theme by a Galaxy iTablet PC the browser crashes. On all other sites the browser works fine… What could be the reason for this?
Upon migrating, the following error started to appear on top of all pages: Warning: Missing argument 1 for get_post(), called in /home/storage/d/5b/8e/step111/public_html/sitept/wp-content/themes/enfold/framework/php/function-set-avia-frontend.php on line 128 and defined in /home/storage/d/5b/8e/step111/public_html/sitept/wp-includes/post.php on line 380
Also, this same error appears on the admin of WordPress. And the result is that I can’t edit posts, pages, widgets. In short, the dashboard is blocked.
Can anybody help, please?
Went into debug mode via instructions in another post and tried to use the shortcode that appears in under the template builder when you insert a layerslider on the page, like this [av_layerslider id=’10’] into one of the Tabs inside the popup Tab editor, but it just threw a fatal error at : ……../enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/slideshow_layerslider.php on line 121
Anything else I can try? Feels like it’s possible.
Thanks but I have already tried that. Everything is fine in that area. I did test turning off all plugins and it seems that it may be an issue with JetPack. Once all plugins were disabled the site looks right on Safari as well as all other browsers but then I was unable to change the site again even after disabling the plugins so I don’t know if it just needs time to show changes or not but it certainly seems to be a JetPack problem.
my suggestions for theme improvement :
1. support of wp envato kit – for easy theme updates
2. an easy way to change the default circle+arrow hover effect on portfolio/blog thumbs ? (change shape/icon would be just awesome !!!)
3. load from admin panel custom fonts (espec. for your international multi-lingual clients)
4. load from admin panel any google font w/subset selection (eg. cyrillic, greek etc)
5. change image thumbs sizes from admin panel (and not editing php files)
6. sticky header of page builder so it stays viewable in long pages when scrolling down
7. more options in theme panel for styling (font sizes, shortcodes/builder elements colors etc)
8. ability to create new styles (w/o overwriting existing ones)
9. import/export all theme options (incl. styles)
thx for your great work!
Hi Ismael,
Actually, I believe Enfold is putting the page content outside (before) the main content column. This is happening on ALL the WooCommerce pages when you add your own content to them.
See: http://karenhume.ca/shop/
The page content should be in the main content (left) column.
Thank you.
Hi, we’ve installed the Enfold theme on our staging servers, but can’t get the drag and drop layout builder to work. When you drag an icon from the menu to the space where you want it, nothing happens – you can see a screencam of this happening here:
[video src="https://www.dropbox.com/s/a1zckbdgwsfh41v/drag%20an%20drop%20not%20working%20-%20Wi-Fi.mp4" /]
We’ve updated and reinstalled the theme. We’ve upped the memory. We’ve also changed the folder permissions. It happens in any browser, and any OS.
If we can get this to work, we will need to upgrade to the full commercial license. Any ideas?
Thanks
Spen
Hello
http://interpeople.co.kr/wp/
Even though I change the body background color at the page of “Enfold_child (KO) Theme Options” in my admin,
it is not be changed on my site.
Please let me know how to do….
Regards
Ich habe beim vorherigen Code nicht an das Sidebar widget gedacht sondern an das “Warenkorb” Icon oben rechts, welches den Warenkorbinhalt nach einem Klick anzeigt.
Für das Sidebar Widget verwendet
#top div .widget_shopping_cart .button {
width: 100%;
display: block;
}
#top div .widget_shopping_cart .button.checkout {
margin-top: 10px;
}
Not actually a feature but improvement on
All widget with Icon ‘Upload your own custom Icon’?
Enfold Price table
Devin,
Thank you for your help. I have one more question and problem.
1. I actually had to do this. If I only used 2 entires then I end up with a weird distortion in my Apple icon. So I added the last line from the previous code. To result as this:
#top .social_bookmarks_tumblr a {
background: url(.......uploads/custom/apple.png) no-repeat center;
}
#top .social_bookmarks_tumblr a:hover {
color:#fff;
background: url(........uploads/custom/apple-hover.png) no-repeat center;
}
#top .social_bookmarks_tumblr a {
text-indent: -9999px;
}
2. I now have a retina resolution problem. When I view this on an iPhone 5 and my Macbook Pro Retina the apple icon is pixilated. Any ideas for a quick fix for this. If I do it as 64px x 64px then it looks to large. I imagine I have to add something to the CSS to constrain the proportion then upload the 64 x 64 images. Will you help me with that?
3. Would you mind going back through and deleting my personal links from this post. I abbreviated them above. Could you go back and abbreviate the others please?
Thank you again for your help!
Hello Peter,
thanks for the quick response and the code.
Insert the code into Custom CSS, but nothing changed. http://screencast.com/t/XPj7SMWb
I guess, i will exclude the cart widget from the sidebar.
Thanks! and best regards,

Dude! I think I love you. I’ve been going through such a steep learning curve and got lost in all the possibilities of what was wrong. You saved me. Thank you!
You don’t need to use the green “Upload” button but you can insert your image url(s) into the white text field on the left side of the upload button. If you insert the url directly into the text field you can use any url – even urls which point to external resources. You can also insert an url which points to your child theme directory – it would look like
http://www.ygi.ch/wp-content/themes/enfold-child/images/image.jpg
The upload button itself will use the standard wordpress media gallery which stores the images in the wp-content/uploads/ folder.
Hey!
You can suggest new features/tweaks here: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-feature-requests – if more users support it we’ll look look into it.
Best regards,
Peter
1) I think the “Google Map” plugin you’re using breaks the javascript. It loads the google map js file from an insecure source
<script type='text/javascript' src='http://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/js?sensor=true&libraries=places&ver=3.5.2'></script>
and the browser stops to process the javascript files.
2) All other insecure resource are images – you can try to use: http://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-https/ which will replace the http:// with https:// for all media gallery items.
Open up wp-contentthemesenfoldincludesloop-index.php and remove
if ( get_comments_number() != "0" || comments_open() ){
echo "<span class='comment-container minor-meta'>";
comments_popup_link( "0 ".__('Comments','avia_framework'),
"1 ".__('Comment' ,'avia_framework'),
"% ".__('Comments','avia_framework'),'comments-link',
"".__('Comments Disabled','avia_framework'));
echo "</span>";
echo "<span class='text-sep'>/</span>";
}
and
if(!empty($cats))
{
echo '<span class="blog-categories minor-meta">'.__('in','avia_framework')." ";
echo $cats;
echo '</span><span class="text-sep">/</span>';
}
Hi,
you need to configure the theme options for each language – i.e. you can set a different logo, different colors, different copyright text, etc for each language. Just select the current language from the language dropdown in the admin panel; the theme name will change – eg to Enfold (DE) if you select German – then you can configure & save the options for the German website. Then select another language and configure the options for this language, etc.
Hello,
Thank you so much for this theme. I just launched my client’s site and until I had SSL installed everthing worked. Now however since SSL all my layer sliders, and recent posts do not load because they are consider unsecured. If the url is only http, everything is fine. Do you know a way to fix this? Is there any js link code in the layerslider, recent post and mobile menu that I can change to make this work?
I have tried work-arounds such as having my htaccess redirect back to http after https on none secure pages. This however doesn’t seem to work at mobile size.
The site in question is advocateswest.org.
Very grateful for any help,
Bethany
Hi!
I didn’t manage to align the text on one line but you can use following code
#top .dropdown_widget .buttons .button {
width: 100%;
line-height: 20px;
}
to center align both buttons underneath each other…
Best regards,
Peter
Hi,
@dsgnerfw: Awesome site! The slider is very creative.
NOTE: If you are planning to use the theme again, you should probably buy the Extended License. :)
Cheers,
Ismael
Hi,
If you search ubermenu on the forum, you can see that many users installed it.
https://kriesi.at/support/search.php?q=ubermenu
There may be some css modifications required.
