Never mind. I figured it out. I wasn’t choosing enough options to make it work but now it does.
When I create a new widget area with the WooSidebar plugin and add a widget to it nothing happens. When I return to the WooSidebar admin panel it says the widget is “not in use by current theme”. If the plugin works with Enfold then I’m obviously doing something wrong and will figure it out but if not then I’ll delete the plugin.
Thanks!
Hi,
You can add this:
@media only screen and (max-width: 989px) and (min-width: 768px) {
.responsive .main_menu ul:first-child > li > a {
padding: 0 8px;
font-size: 12px;
}
}

Ismael
Hey,
You can add this on your custom.css or Quick CSS:
#header_main {
background: black;
}
There are also predefined theme colors on Enfold > Styling.

Ismael
played around a bit and found out: i use enfold child but same happens on pure enfold.
yet, the columns appear alright when, on the same page, a right sidebar is placed.
Hey,
Yes, it will override the default wordpress frontpage settings and blog settings.

Hi Devin,
Thanks a lot for your advice.
I followed your instructions and it seemed to work – I didn’t need to create new sliders, just resave the current ones. I think a couple of the files didn’t make it through the FTP which caused the issue.
Since fixing this however I have had some issues when refreshing the site. For me, everything turns to simple text and gets pushed to the left hand side with the navigation sitting underneath each other all the way down the page – on Google Chrome. For others, images layer on top of one another and links turn blue and buttons appear. I haven’t been able to recreate the second one but it this has only happened on IE.
It has happened this morning and a number of times yesterday, particularly on the portfolio pages – http://etool.net.au/projects/ http://etool.net.au/portfolio/octo/ but I can’t seem to recreate it now to take a screenshot.
Any ideas why this is happening? Nothing similar happened before this theme update and wordpress update.
Many thanks, Siobhan
Glad we could help :)

Hahah just did that as you posted the reply, thanks
Well never mind then, It was a plugin that was causing all 5 problems, disabled and problems solved.
Hi ideaFocus,
The first thing to try is to disable all active plugins you have installed. If a plugin hasn’t been updated for 3.6 yet it could be causing all kinds of issues.
Next, re-download the theme files from your downloads on ThemeForest and then re-install via FTP going one folder at a time. Just in case there was an error when you first updated.

Devin
1) Ignore it.
2) I’ve had no issues with it with either 3.5.2 or 3.6 . You can use http://goo.gl/ to obfuscate your URL’s.
3) Updating now rather than later is probably a good idea. Also copying over data is a bit tricky and can have mixed results if you aren’t used to moving wordpress databases around but even more so if you were trying to move from something like Enfold 1.7 to Enfold 1.9.1 because of the new features that get added.
5) We don’t all work together or anything so its really pretty hard to share data. Its much better to post your URL’s with expiring or self controlled expiration using goo.gl since right now you would be waiting on 3 different individuals to look into your site on various issues.
Even more strongly do I recommend you update your theme files as we typically don’t offer support for users who do not upgrade since it means we could be diagnosing and fixing a bug we’ve already spent time fixing.

Devin
As I said above, my guess is that you have the admin bar set to not show when viewing the site. The container for it is still getting rendered for some reason.
Try going to Users>Your Profile and look for the option for “Toolbar” . Check the box for “Show toolbar when viewing site”.

Devin
In IE8 the testimonial images are square and the images themselves are very stretched. I recently updated to wordpress 3.6 and Enfold 1.91. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
Hi Nick,
now I have found an individual solution with the smarter-navigation-plugin: I added the code above into a renamed copy from loop-index.php, invoked only by single.php. Therby I used the same html-tags and -classes as the theme. Additionaly I add an extra class ‘anzeigen’ to the $output in the ‘function avia_post_nav($same_category = false)’ in functions-enfold.php. Into the code in the loop I add a style block, that determines the extra class ‘anzeigen’ as ‘display: none’
So the whole thing works now in every case. If I do not come from a category-Page, the code for ‘previous post in catetegory’ does obviously not work, or create any effect. In the other case, the standard-arrows are replaced by the smarter-navigation-arrows.

Günter
Hi Max,
I just tested it out on 3.6 with 1.9.1 and have no issues.
It looks like your jquery updater plugin is causing a javascript error on your page there which is preventing it from working correctly.

Hi TIMODENIJS,
What version of Enfold and WordPress do you have installed? Have you tried disabling all active plugins?
Regards,
Devin
I seem to be having a similar problem.
I just did a fresh instal of the latest version of WordPress and the latest version of Enfold.
When I click on Advanced Layout Editor.. nothing happens..
I’m a bit lost in where you added that Debug code you mention about, can you perhaps clarify it a bit better ?
Thanks!
Hi,
I’m creating a child theme of “Enfold”. I almost finished, but I want to add some features to the pricing tables and I need to modify the “table.php” file on the directory “config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/”.
The problem is that when I add the modified version of the “table.php” file on the child theme folder, it doesn’t work. It ignores completely the child theme file.
What can I do?
Thanks
Like the picture with a fancy kitchen at the bottom of this page http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/homepage/home-v7-one-page-portfolio/
Avia section with fixed background.
What I ask is how to increase the default height of this area.
Regards.
Quick question.
Usually I use the setting in WordPress to set a specific page as the home page (instead of the blog posts) where you select a specific page for the homepage and then a specific page for the blog posts.
I see that the Enfold settings also have a similar setting. So does the Enfold setting overwrite the wordpress setting? And does it matter what I have set in the WordPress setting if I have it setup in the Enfold setting the way I would like it?
Thanks for the clarification.

Hi,
Yes, I think installing the theme from scratch will fix it. Make sure you have the latest version of Enfold and WordPress 3.6.

Ismael
hmm, only doesn’t show the content of the sidebar, but the sidebar itself is still there. Since the latest update of Enfold I can’t disable the sidebars, even if I say in pages, don’t show sidebar in page attributes. Any idea why?
1. I’d like to add a single background image that would cover the main body, header, and possibly the footer. This is an example:
http://cayena.es/
2. I’d like to have a universal background as default and alternate backgrounds for specific pages.
Can either of these be done with standard settings of the Enfold theme (I haven’t been able to find it)? If not, can anybody recommend CSS scripts or plugins that can accomplish this. I have no experience with coding.
Thanks for any advice.
That line of code isn’t in my portfolio.php at all, so I’m confused.
In my portfolio.php line 305 says:
$output .= !empty($title) || !empty($excerpt) ? “<div class=’grid-content’><div class=’avia-arrow’></div>” : ”;
I’m looking within the enfold > config-templatebuilder > avia-shortcodes > portfolio.php. I haven’t updated to the latest enfold yet, so maybe it’s there?
Hey,
Recently brought and put together a website for a client with Enfold but a lot of features don’t seem to be working or I’m ignorant of why there not working.
Here is the Website: http://heartnsoulmatters.com
Here are the problems im having that I desperately need help with:
Responsive Design:
1. Menu Disappears at mobile size, no drop down menu
2. Big Space under Layer Slider at mobile size
General Theme problems:
1. Back to Top Button Doesn’t Appear
2. Menu doesn’t get smaller/Shink on scroll
3. Image’s from Media box animations dont work (Using Latest FF and Chrome Browers, and IE9)
Everything on the site is out of the box , The only things that I have have changed is 2 quick CSS
.title_container {
display: none;
}
#top #menu-item-search {
display: none;
}
So it should work, please advise me why these features arn’t working.
