My client is now happy with enfold template laid out like the page above with a minor modification.
1. Can make the section behind the text a lighter shade of gray? They want to keep the middle gray shade behind the image and have a different color behind the text.

SaraTopic: Sliders are a problem!
Although I was enthusiastic of the theme when I purchased it and I still find it fantastic, I’m having lots of trouble with the sliders. All of them! I made no change to original theme’s file but still I can’t understand what’s wrong ! On ThemeForest site the demo was ok but not on my site.
In order:
– EASY SLIDER: is the only one that works UNTIL the 2nd slide. Starting from 3rd slide nothing happens independently if you loaded 4,5,6 …images, besides, even if the autorotation is set as active, it remains on the 2nd slide and does not change even if you click on right/left arrows or on small round navigation buttons !
– FULLWIDTH SLIDER: this is even worse as doesn’t work at all! no images, no autorotation, no manual click back and forth! for the image I can only see a question mark and that’s all !
– ADVANCED LAYERSLIDER: same as the FULLWIDTH SLIDER
It’s about 2 weeks I’m running around this matter and watched lots of tutorials, read posts and looked for any useful hint to solve this issue but… now I feel really very frustrated as I can’t come out of this and I need to!
So I wonder also if instead of the above SLIDER solutions I could use another one that might work and giving not problems.
I’m aware the support is given on a voluntary basis and I can’t expect any ‘miracle’ but still hope for a solution!
I’m working on Enfold v.1.3.1 using the Dummy theme and already created the site structure (pages, menu ecc) and not wishing to restart the done work by installing an update that overwrites my previous work, I want and need to avoid it !!!
Thank you for your attention and, hopefully, help to solve this issue and to continue spreading the enthusiasm on this fantastic WP theme… if I can come out of this :)

This Error is showing om my homepage, where I inserted a layerslider.
Notice: Undefined index: responsive in /home/vhosts/cnnct.net/httpdocs/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/slideshow_layerslider.php on line 105
Can anyone tell me how to get rid of the error displaying? The layerslider is functioning normal. I am running the latest version of WordPress and Enfold.

Then ask for a refund – if you’re not happy with Enfold because of the “obscure and complicated code” or with our support service you can use another theme. I recommend to ask your developer which theme he wants to use and then start to build your website with that theme. some questions arised according to your reply.2: Why is the support so poor here? In any serious support forum you get hints like “go to…” find there ..” replace in line XX this against that” and more.
Here? Nothing at all except obsure references to settings and a lnk to a freelance-plattform just to get things solved wich are normaly very easy to achieve even with the most simple & plain themes.
1: is that the strategy behind Enfold: Make it as complicate and obsure as possible to produce costomization jobs for your company?To us Enfold looks like it is packed with “toys” to play around a bit, but if it comes to useful changes / adaptions you get stuck and you need to call a “customization service”.
Enfold is as flexible as a stranded humpback whale.
And something to your Advanced Layout Builder:
Most times i get my results much faster if i type HTML manually than to build it whith your Avia Builder
Its not even possible to get such a simple layout with AVB

Our server, where all clips were uploaded, was full. So we got a notification, that there is no upload limit anymore. Due to that, the mistakes occurred. That’s really interesting, because I only thought of a software bug in WordPress.You can close or delete this topic.

our company has build a homepage based on Enfold and Woocommerce. It has an area with Showreel spots and a WooCommerce Shop, in which you can buy video clips.
http://www.weisscam.com/wpI’ve inserted around 150 articles by hand. Everything worked fine. During the last weekend, half of our homepage crashed. No one did something in the backend, because it was weekend. When I came back to work, I saw following malfunctions:
> Appearance -> Menus
our whole menu is gone! It is displayed at the homepage but gone in the backend.-> portfolio items
all categories are gone! so no portfolio entry is displayed at our page.-> woocommerce shop
all product categories are gone! Suddenly a new group has appeared that calls itself “most used categories”. All “old” categories are now in the “most used” area.
And all product tags are gone, too!-> woocommerce shop -> attributes
all attribute values are gone!We can not find the mistake. We’ve done updates to nothing. Can it be, that wordpress does updates on its own, that causes these problems?
Does someone had this problems too? … and could find a solution?Is there a way to do are reset of the whole wordpress/woocommerce homepage to last week?

I just purchased WPML for my website and I would like to know how to add the dropdown language menu to the header (next to the social icons for example), since I don’t have any sidebars. I know I have to paste it in the header.php file but I don’t know where exactly. Can I paste the code in the wordpress code editor? (of course the one where header.php appears. Or do I need to open the header.php from the enfold file that I downloaded and then add it through filezilla.

Personally I tried http://www.wpgmaps.com/ – I didn’t test all features/options but I tested some of them with Enfold and it worked pretty well. You can create multiple markers, create several maps with different markers, upload custom marker images, etc.
