The reason why the hover effect doesn’t work is that Kriesi checks the height of the image with following code in enfold/js/avia.js
if(current.outerHeight() > 100)and if the height is smaller than 100px the function won’t apply the hover effect because there’s not enough space for the round icon. You can try to modify the function and replace 100 with i.e. 80 but personally I recommend to upload a bigger version of the image which has a height of at least 101px.

PeterI have my wordpress/settings/reading options set to show 5 blog posts per page. However, the blog’s main page is displaying 9 posts….is there something in the enfold theme that is forcing this to happen? if so, how is it disabled?
I have several posts set as as “sticky” so they show up at the top of the order. These posts are displaying a second time (where they would be placed had they not been set to sticky). This wasn’t happening with my old themes. How can this be stopped?
Hey, i have a problem with my first created slide at LayerSlide in EnfoldTheme.
I did all the necessary configurations at the “layer styles” with the LayerSlider WP. Example image below:

But, on the website, all images are with +70px in “left” property
Ex. .ls-s-1 img {… left:70px}

How do i fix that?

I guess you are referring to the Parallax effect, that page is included in the dummy content that you can import after you activate the theme.

The latest version of the theme is 2.4.2. Please delete the enfold folder on wp-content/themes/ folder. You can install the theme via FTP, watch this video: http://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/64927356

That happens because the content of that page is too small, so the bottom gets filled with the background color, try adding this to the Quick CSS:

Theme install failed.
I’m using Enfold 1.5.1 I downloaded from themeforrest what I think is the latest version today. I don’t have access to all the ftp stuff. Can someone help me install the new theme. I tried to upload via .zip into wordpress but that didn’t work.

Version 2.4.2 is the most recent version of Enfold so make sure you have that installed.
On your Page or Portfolio editing view go to the top right corner of the screen where the Screen Options tab is. Click on it to trigger the drop down and then make sure the Advanced Layout Editor checkbox is checked.

I am building a website with your Enfold Theme since a few weeks and am totally happy with it.
Today I updated WP to Version 3.7.1. and the Theme now has some bugs. I am for example unable to edit a page with the “Advanced Layout Editor”, it is unavailable.
Is this an update problem or do I have to reinstall the theme?
How do I proceed? Help!Best

Can you post a screenshot and show the section you cannot edit? After choosing Boxed Layout you should simply choose background image or color in Enfold theme options under Styling tab http://i.imgur.com/Vpj77OP.jpg

LayerSlider WP plugin only works fullwidth on Enfold unless you have it as a standalone plugin. LayerSlider shortcode does not work either. So, it is not possible to add Advanced LayerSlider element in any Layout Elements

If you want to test it download http://pastebin.com/ttHU4cF3 , rename it to comments.php and place it into the /wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/ folder. Then insert
.comment_container{max-width: 100%;}into the quick css field. Afterwards you can select the “comments” element in the advanced layout builder (Content Elements tab).
