Hi guys, I’m having a problem with bbPress.
I just setup WordPress and Enfold theme,
and install only bbPress plugin then activate it,
create a new page with forum shortcode.
But I got “ERROR: Are you sure you wanted to do that?” message when I what to create a new topic.Environment:
Mac OS X 10.8.4
Bitnami MAMP stack 5.4.9-0
Wordpress 3.7.1

The issues that I mentioned above were in Enfold 2.1. But I upgrade to Enfold 2.4.2 today.
Did what you suggested but there is still a major problem in Chrome.
I forgot a problem yesterday. Can’t center images in a text block — this doesn’t happen all the time. When in the text block edit screen, it will center the image but when saving it sends the images back to left align. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/18117912/Enfold-Issue3.jpg This issue occurs both in Chrome and IE. However,, when viewing the site it is centered.
I found a conflict between Enfold and Leaflet Maps Maker plugin. When I re-activated this plugin the Avia framework wouldn’t load in a page. All I got was the spinning icon like the framework was trying to load. As soon as I deactivated the plugin the framework would load.
The conflict that occurred previously with Shortcodes Ultimate has been corrected.

I did actually not have any fullwith elements in it.
Anyway hope there will be a solution one day, because it would be a very powerfull feature for Enfold.
If there is an unofficial workaround, please let me know.
Is it planed, that Enfold is going to have additional custom post types built in, as other new wp-themes do now?

I have the “small fixed header” in enfold.
When I edit the JS file that stopped it from resizing but as soon as I added the css it started resizing again.

What type of header do you have? Please check on Enfold > Header > Header Type. You can disable the header resize on js > avia.js, find this code on line 24:

Hi!
1.) If you want to show the blog on the homepage, you need to do this. Edit the homepage, this is the page that you set on Enfold > Theme Options > Frontpage Settings, add the Blog Posts element. Don’t set any page on Where do you want to display blog? option.
2.) If you didn’t set a Frontpage, the theme will automatically use the index.php file which contains the template for a Blog or Posts page. Do the instruction above.

I’ve probably understand what’s wrong. The settings I’m tring to reach are always positioned in the blog page. I would like to copy the blog page (with all its settings) in the home page.
1) I tried to create a new page, call it a “blog” and insert elements such as “advanced sliders”, the “blog post” element and so on. In this way I do not get the settings that I want, even if I configure the “blog post” element.
2) If I do not impose any page dl Enfold menu, leaving the word “select page”, then on the front page appears the blog as I want, but unfortunately I can not change it. In fact there is no page to edit.
How can I get the parameters of the blog page on the home page?

1.) Hire a freelance developer to modify the slider scripts for you.
2.) Use this on Enfold > Styling > Quick CSS to change the top menu color:
.header_color .sub_menu>ul>li>a { color: red; }3.) Yes, you can add the Layer Slider on different pages. Use the Advance Layout Builder.

5-6.) Please experiment with the plugin. We dont’ usually support third party plugins.
7.) Plugins usually use shortcodes. You can add the shortcode on a Text Widget on Appearance > Widgets > Footer columns.
8.) Go to Enfold > Footer > Copyright, add the [nolink] tag to remove the Kriesi text.

Hi K support, with regards to sortable portfolio items, I can confrim this is a bug with the latest wordpress 3.8. I test it with my test website, and it worked on previous wordpress version, but then failed to display straight after the 3.8 upgrade. Please advise if there is a solution to this compatibility issue, cheers!!!!

Turns out the problem doesn’t come from Enfold, but it’s a browser issue with Google Chrome, at least with versions 30-31.
Everything runs fine on Firefox.
But on a fresh install of Chrome when there’s a secondary menu on top of the page (I’m on responsive default + boxed layout + fixed header with social icons) the problem appears.In reply to: enfold – IE8 compatibility issue

Yesterday it was important for me to deactivate enfold for a short time, so I activated Twenty Fourteen and opened my Frontpage.
It was very cool because I saw my complete Layout that I have builded inside Avia just in Shortcodes.
It would be very nice to become the possibility to transform a page Layout just into Shortcodes in the Default Editor. Because on this way we have more flexibility to interact with some Plugins eg.

You would just create the folder from scratch. Enfold doesn’t use template files for WooCommerce and instead uses functions and filters.

I’m waiting on the next release to do the follow up video but the only thing not covered in detail is using tags to designate specific widths.
For each portfolio item you *must* designate a featured image using the WordPress featured image. That image is what gets used for the portfolio grid, masonry etc.

The masonry layout doesn’t have support for choosing alternate images for each item. Only a single image can be designated using the featured media option.

There is bar above the header and I changed the color to blue and wanted the text color to be white. However, I when I changed the Header Font Color text color to white the menu text changed to white so it was not visible. I’m thankful for the overall support given for the enfold product. Just at the moment, I seem to experience a slight glitch when viewing the website on an ipad, when posed on a portrait layout, the 1/4 and 3/4 combination layout seem to overlap the content and the (3/4 part) of text will overlap onto the (1/4) part of text if posed on the left.
May I check if there is a CSS solution to this issue to keep the content from “overflowing” onto the left (1/4) segment? Thanks!

Styling a Tablepress table has been giving me problems. There is a persistent solid line on the left border of the table. This problem seems to be impervious to custom css. Any advice on how to overcome this?
