Not unless you’ve added in those files that were updated to your child theme. For example, if you have a header.php file in your child theme to replace the parent then you should check the change log to see if that file was changed and you need to update your child theme file.

The header is not set to fixed from the theme options but instead done via their own css. Look for #header.
There are quite a few others but thats the source for how its all done.

YigitMy website takes several seconds before it begins to load. It stays at a blank gray screen for a while and then actually loads the page, but the even then, images and objects are still loading. I’m using a MacBook Pro 2012 model with a SSD and 4GB ram with the OS 10.9.1, and Safari latest version (tried it in Chrome and same results).
I cleared my cache, reset my browser, went through the typical steps troubleshooting. I disabled all plugins except the essential ones I absolutely must use and even then, it’s like WooCommerce, so on. I don’t have Lazy Load or any speed or compression plugin installed.Site is http://homesmartsecure.com

Topic: logo covering menu
Hello, I have been using the Enfold them and have been really happy.
My client has been telling me that she’s having a problem with the way the logo is viewing though next to the menu. It is fine on all computers that I have looked at it but she says that the logo loads in and moves down over the top of the menu and stays there. I have gotten her to update her browser (she was using Explorer and is now on Chrome on a PC) but the only other thing I can think of is maybe she has a slow internet connection.
She said that the logo used to eventually settle into place but now it stays sitting over the top of the menu. I am at a loss as to how to fix this for her or what to suggest. I can’t see the problem myself on my computer, phone or ipad.
Can you help in any way?

Topic: XML-RPC file
Ever since I installed Enfold and deactivated all the plugins and reactivated them I’ve been getting the following error message when attempting to connect Jetpack to WordPress.com.
Error Details: The Jetpack server could not communicate with your site’s XML-RPC URL. Please check to make sure http://mountainstreamgroup.com/wordpress/xmlrpc.php is working properly. It should show ‘XML‑RPC server accepts POST requests only.’ on a line by itself when viewed in a browser and should not have any blank links or extra output anywhere.
Jetpack states “The problem is that there’s whitespace above the message. This extra space is annoyingly important. It suggests that some plugin, theme, or wp-config.php file in your WordPress has extra “whitespace” (new lines, spaces, tabs, …) before the first “<?php” in the file.”
I started going through all of the .php files as they stated and I found the Enfold error404.php file has the following.

Hi there,
I’ve been wanting to add photos that were uploaded via the NextGen Gallery plugin into my posts but was unable to ‘retrieve’ that option when selecting the “Gallery” Module on Enfold. Is there an option to ‘call’ the gallery into the post?
Also, I do realise that after the latest update to the Enfold theme, the normal “Special Header” default header seem to have a significantly-reduced HR line trailing for the header, is there a CSS code to “thicken” it back to its default sizing? As I find the original thickness more suitable and visible.

How did you update the theme today? The missing stylesheet error is usually associated with uploading the incorrect theme folder on a first upload; the full download zip and not just the enfold.zip for example.

DevinAfter updating my Enfold theme today WordPress is now telling me my version of Enfold is “false.”
I purchased my Enfold theme and it worked fine before the update.

Topic: Single Posts not loading
In the Enfold settings page, I have “Frontpage Settings” set to a page called Home, and Blog set to a page called Blog.
The Blog page loads fine, but the actual post does not load beyond the top nav. I’m not getting any errors (at least not that I can see), but the code just ends at <div id=’main’>
Any thoughts on where the issue could be?
In the blog I created a parent category “Blog” and sub categories under that.
There are also a number of plugins installed, but haven’t disabled them all yet to test.

As you can see, there is just a display of ‘All’, but no other categories to sort. It was fine before but has somehow disappeared. I checked the page but had not made any changes. Please help.
Also, can you recommend a good print page plugin for this theme? I have tried several now and none seem to play well with Enfold, which is an excellent theme!!!

What is your recommended way to add additional crop sizes for Enfold upon upload into the media library?
I’m trying to do it via this method in my child theme’s functions.php but it’s not working when I initiate the Regenerate Thumbnails plugin’s process (entire functions.php below):

New version of Enfold was released recently which is fully compatible with WordPress 3.8. Please try re-updating the theme. If you do not mind turning off the spinning animation for a temporary fix, you can add following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under Styling tab

Not sure what you mean. Both of those css elements are live on the site and being applied. The .bok margin value is only 20px however but you can see the file here:

Customization of third party plugins is generally not something we can assist with but even more so without seeing the site and elements live so we can inspect it. There is just no way to get the correct css selectors without being able to look through the live code.
