The “open the entry on a new page” won’t change the link target (same tab/window or new tab/window) but it tells the theme to open the single entry immediately without the ajax effect (i.e. see: http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/portfolio/portfolio-ajax/ where the ajax preview will pop up first). If you want to open your custom link in a new tab/window open up wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/portfolio.php and replace
$output .= "<h3 class='grid-entry-title entry-title' $markup><a href='{$title_link}' $target title='".esc_attr(strip_tags($title))."'>".$title."</a></h3>";with

Great, thanks for that I’ll take a look at it.
If this sort of functionality could be built into the visual composer it would HUGELY extend the layout capabilities of Enfold (which is already my favourite theme!).

Many other issues going on right now as I cannot get my LayerSlider to be responsive on all devices. Any suggestions for the setting to keep it the same like the Enfold demo layer slider does?

1.) Please create a menu on Appearance > Menu then set it as Enfold Main Menu on Theme Options.
2.) Please edit functions.php, find this code on line 94:
$avia_config['imgSize']['portfolio'] = array('width'=>495, 'height'=>400 ); // images for portfolio entries (2,3 column)Replace it with:
$avia_config['imgSize']['portfolio'] = array('width'=>342, 'height'=>276 ); // images for portfolio entries (2,3 column)Regenerate the thumbnails using this plugin: http://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/
If that doesn’t work, please use this plugin to manually resize the images: http://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-image-sizes/

Also, have you tried MAMP? i personally use it with Enfold and i haven’t experienced any issues so far.

Topic: Menu colors
Good evening,
First off, sorry if this has been asked before… I can’t seem to find where to search this forum just for Enfold support.
My issue is menu color. I need a green background, yellow text (Think John Deere). I’ve made the menu the color I want, but the color of the menu when it is not hovered over, or selected is unreadable… I can’t find where to change this?
Anyone have any advice?

Hi guys,
There are couple of little annoyances I’d like to deal with, regarding WooCommerce layout stuff.
1.On Firefox, the cart and checkout tables look weird. There are borders missing between certain rows, and some borders are thicker and it seems pretty random. Also the right border of the entire cart table has 0 width. In chrome it looks great. Is there anything I can do to fix this?
2.When there are too many items in a cart, the drop-down cart is no longer helpful. There’s no way to scroll down to get to the sub-total or the links to check-out. I know it may look ugly, but is there any way to add a scroll bar?

p.s. The enfold options area in the back-end of Firefox still looks wonky. I’ve added css to fix it (mostly just had to increase the widths of certain boxes). Just thought you should know. Again, maybe this is just my browser.
p.p.s. I wasn’t able to update enfold through the themeforest-api-updater. Do you know if I need a different api key for each product?In reply to: Customize Function has broken

The page you pointed me to is a product page and yes they do have arrows, but I’m trying to have the same thing on my “portfolio items“, which happen to be used with content that is not portfolio-like but nonetheless is a portfolio item just like you have here but don’t have the arrows.. is thata setting I need to set up somewhere?

Could anyone tell me why the text block menu choices would suddenly change? I’ve been using my Enfold site for months and then the other day the upper menu (heading size etc etc) has changed. Most importantly I’ve lost some options, namely font selection. When I click the help icon a pop up shows that reads:

First of, I really want to congratulate you for the kind of work you make!
I have used probably hundreds of themes in the last years and I’ve never seen such flexible theme and builder… Everything just makes sense!One thing I can’t figure out is how can place a Previous / Next arrows like you have on this portfolio item http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/portfolio-item/slider-two-third/ but on my site http://staging.tastymakes.com/foodfacts/pumpkin-pie-spices/ ?
Also do you offer theme customization services? I had bad luck with people trying to customize this theme… I need someone pro.

We’re currently building three websites for clients using the Enfold theme. On one of them, (http://staging.lakewaleschamber.com) we had a developer come in and give us some customizations to match the client’s vision of the site. However, at some point in the process, the responsive elements of the design no longer seemed to take effect – some elements rendered at full size no matter the screen size, especially the LayerSlider we have on certain pages (http://staging.lakewaleschamber.com/, http://staging.lakewaleschamber.com/chamber/, and http://staging.lakewaleschamber.com/introduction/). I suspect it has to do with some of the customizations, as the other two sites we’re building (http://staging.crosbydirt.com and http://rex4pd.com/hainescityedc) still load perfectly on mobile devices.
Do you have any pointers for where to look for the problem so we can get the site back on track?
All three sites are running WordPress 3.8.1 and Enfold 2.5.
I have an Enfold themed site with a blog page and I am trying to dictate what will show up in the sidebar. When I go to the page now it shows default things in the sidebar (Recent Posts, Meta Data, etc). I went to the widgets section and opened up that sidebar, but nothing is in there on the widgets page. I put in the widget section what I wanted to be there, but now that is just added to the list of default widgets that are in there. How do I eliminate what I do not want in that sidebar?
