After upgrading to Enfold 2.5.1 and 2.5.2, I noticed my social icons from the Social Stickers plugin increased in size from the default 32×32 to 64×64. Even after deleting the data/plugin and then re-activating, the icons still do not size down to their default setting at 32×32. This same thing occurred on a couple of my sites after upgrading to Enfold 2.5.2.
Any idea what might have caused?
Hi Peter,
I feel like I am repeating myself here.
1) The blog is here and you see both problems: no sharing buttons and strange comment fields.
http://reduserstress.no/en-spennende-tid-i-reduserstress-no/
2) The sharing function I use is probably JetPack. I didn’t install WordPress for this client just the Enfold Theme and the sharing functions are located under “Settings -> Sharing” (as you can see the buttons are everywhere but not under the blog post)
Did this info help?

You need to update your theme to the most recent version which was released to bring the theme up to compatibility with the newest version of WooCommerce.
For a quick guide on updating your theme take a look at this video on updating the Enfold theme via FTP: https://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/67209750
Hi!
Please add following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under Styling tab
#header_main_alternate { display: none; }
#top .social_bookmarks li a { font-size: 20px; }
.bottom_nav_header.social_header #header_main .container { height: 122px; }
Best regards,

Hello,
i’m waiting for some answer. I let you see the shop but i have to put the shop offline soon since is not complete :).
I need to change the button behaviour (margin padding and probably minimum width) to avoid the switching.
Any help?
Hi – I was wanting to disable the Mega Menu Function in the Enfold theme. It’s making the type in my submenus larger than the main menu title. I couldn’t find a way to turn it off…can you please advise?
Anna
No and we can not support only updating certain files. This is the change log for 2.5 alone:http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/change-log-version-2-5/
There was also all of the 2.4 iterations with changes and then 2.5.1 and 2.5.2.
So your recommendation is to delete all the old versions of Enfold and only leave 2.5.2 in place.
The theme settings are saved to whatever the name of the currently active theme is. So you should be able to re-name your child theme to what it was before and get the same settings.
The issue however is that if you are installing multiple versions of enfold then the child theme may run into an issue where it doesn’t know what the real parent is since it uses the parents name to establish the parent:child relationship.
Devin,
Overnight the child theme disappeared for the installed themes section of the WordPress Admin. The two versions 2.5 and 2.4.5 of Enfold showed up but the child theme magically disappeared. Therefore, WordPress automatically defaulted to Twenty Fourteen.
I went into the domain through FileZilla to see if the child theme theme had mysteriously disappeared. The enfold-child folder along with style.css and all the other files for the child theme were in place in the folder.
I downloaded the latest version of Enfold 2.5.2 and installed it.
After watching your child theme video, I extracted the css file made some modifications to the description and theme name and overwrote the style.css file with the new one. A miracle happened. The child theme showed up again in the installed themes and I activated it.
The issue now is I have to rebuild all the settings in the child theme, which is a royal pain in the butt.
Hi Devin,
1. I’ve done so many changes so it would be much easier to me to add video option to the service.
Could you please let me know which file I should overwrite to have this video available?
2. I can see that’s 2.5 demo is short of home9: http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/homepage/home-v9-videos-and-parallax/
How can I build the page just like in demo?
Thanks!
M
Hey!
The video options are only available in version 2.5. For a quick guide on updating your theme take a lok at this video on updating the Enfold theme via FTP: https://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/67209750
You’ll need to re-apply your changes from your hard coding to the 2.5 files after updating.

Devin
Hi MtnStreamGroup!
Can you explain a bit more on what you mean by missing from the admin? Is the style.css in the child theme folder or is there any errors in the Themes section of the admin?

Devin
I’m unable to upload additional Fontello fonts using the zip file provided from fontello.com.. I have tried multiple fonts as well as a single font using different browsers. Is there a directory I can manually add fonts too bypassing the uploader?
Couldn’t add the font.
The script returned the following error:

Thanks a lot, that did the trick… Kriesi should update this in his core files next time he does an update.
Like text everyone still has the option to have a background or not.
Quick question tho, I’m assuming even though I have a child theme, I’ll still have to update this every time there is an Enfold update?
Actually, I don’t even necessarily care about the checkbox alignment as long as the field and background color can be fixed. Here’s an example of a pre-existing page built with Formidable Pro & how it shows up with Enfold: http://tinypic.com/r/2n6f9na/8. The formatting is fine on everything but the orange fields.
Thanks!
Hello,
If take a look at the homepagage of Kriesi then I see a ruler with a star in the middle. Can we do that also in Enfold? Thats look amesome.

I woke up this morning to find that the Enfold Child theme is missing for the WordPress Admin panel even though it shows up in the themes folder. What is going on?

Hi Soapmarine!
Once you have created your portfolio items you’ll then go to any regular page. Then click on the Advanced Layout Editor button and drag and drop a Portfolio Grid item into the layout to customize as needed.
Similar to how I create a simple layout in this video: https://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/64927358

Hi for what reason does the base.css affect the native galleries image / item width in content ? I removed this portion of code but there’s certainly a reason, what does ENFOLD officially reply ? THANKS .
#top .gallery .gallery-item{
margin:1px 1px 0 0;
width:80px;
height:80px;
padding:0;
}
If we can see your site live so we can inspect the issues we can assist with fixes.

Hi!
Please refer to Ismael’s post here to add a tagline https://kriesi.at/support/topic/how-can-you-add-a-tagline-or-subheading-to-all-pages-for-the-enfold-theme/#post-203194
and please add following code to Quick CSS
.avia-menu-fx { bottom: 20px; }

Hello Devin,
i apology if that sounds like a whining. I love this theme and i’m trying to use it properly.
Considering that words into the buttons are not so long, like “Cassa” instead of “Cart” and i have the exactly same issue on the english version of the shop i guess there is some css that get some conflict.
It is possible to know where to put hands on? :)
I got the scroll issue aswell and i found the solving css
In particular i have problem concerning the Cart on the sidebar, because i want to keep it there.
Any help would be appreciated.
Kind regards
Alex
Hey Nate!
Please add following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under Styling tab
#top .avia-smallarrow-slider-heading> div {
display: inline;
}
Cheers!
Yigit
Hey!
The sizes for items are set for english so they will need some manual adjustment if the contents is too long for how they are set by default. If we can see your site live we can assist with the needed updates.
Its quite a bit of a stretch to say that these make the site improperly designed however.

Devin
