Update: I’ve done a bit of dirty CSS tweaking to sort it out for now as I’m using Enfold on a live site too (www.blackbeltacademy.info) and that’s ok for now.
I do think this needs an official tweak in an update sometime though as otherwise using icons in the header is going to look nasty on mobile..

I’ve set up MAMP for testing and safety completing this upgrade, as you mentioned that I will have to rebuild much of it. When I preview alternate themes, they all work except for Enfold 2.5.4. The preview is just a white browser window. Resultantly, I’m hesitant to activate it. Please advise.
Whilst I like the new header options, they’re somewhat breaking on the mobile version of the site.
In the previous version I was using the header with bottom menu, and when the site switched to the mobile view the header icons would slot in neatly beneath the logo and it looked good.
In the new version, they overlap the logo and it looks really bad.
Here’s an example on a testing site:
In an ideal world I’d like to see it behave as it did before with the icons (and the menu button) in a row below the logo..
Any ideas?

Since I’ve done today the lastest enfold update, if I open my website http://www.encanthadas.es with mozilla or google chrome, all the site goes crazy, and nothing is is the correct place. Header or layer slider are not showing as usually. The homepage that has got 2 images, one of them, has lost its link. It doesn’t happen with Internet Explorer. What can I do?

Enfold, latest version on latest Chrome Win7 — when you resize the browser to less than 768px and select some text and drag to the right, the page scrolls to the right revealing the hidden desktop nav etc.
This is happening on your demo site and this site too.
I noticed this while trying to create a custom blog page in the builder that allows the post text and image to fill up the entire avia flex_column, i.e. 100%. However, there seems to be a bunch of max-width rules that have a domino effect trying to modify.
Do you guys have a simple blog format where post content is all set to 100% and no max-widths? I could make one of my own but I’m sure I’ll notice a problem with it in the future :)

Topic: enfold upgrade
after upgrading to latest version of enfold (version 2.1 to 2.6.1) I have encountered a few issues…using wp 3.8.1
1. layer slider not showing as normal? The preview shows one thing and live site shows another? http://cl.ly/image/0k2k0B2m0P09 (spacing issue will not fix between layer words)
2. some of my previous css is not working in the enfold panel (css) i.e. my search icon is missing from mobile…I added css to have this work on mobile.@media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {

thanks, now the tagline is shown. However, by minimizing the tagline moves below the social icons. On big screen it is to close to the logo.

I’ve resolved this – I just duplicated the slider.
Seems the photos for some reason the link was broken to load image(s) on all 3 slides. So I re-associated the correct slides/layers to get it working again.
Then I went to home page and assigned home page slider to that duplicated new named Slider – seems to be working well.Any clue as to why this might have happened?

I would like to know if both Enfold and the Avia Layout Builder support the WPML plugin?
As you probably know, the plugin isn’t free so it would be nice if I had an idea before buying it. Does it work alright with the theme? Should I be aware of anything else?

Hello,
After updating the theme, my header in mobile changed on all three of my sites.
It used to be the logo followed by a drop down below the logo…nice and clean.
These are all my sites using your awesome Enfold Theme.

With updates to the theme, things will change. In this past update the header was completely re-done to give you more control over how it displays. Sorry about that! Its unfortunately one of the reasons we tend to close topics now so often because others jump in and can sidetrack a topic so easily.
I’m not sure what your previous issue was but color section video backgrounds are strictly for video backgrounds. So if you are trying or were hoping to use one as a video player it really isn’t intended to be one.
The logo can be constrained to the height of your logo’s actual height with:

the fix kind of worked, in the sense that the blue vertical line on the border has been removed, however I guess there maybe some more code missing that would resize the frame accordingly and therefore place the written content inside as it shows in the correct view.

Hey!
Did you copy header.php file on the child theme folder? Please delete that and duplicate the header.php file from the parent theme folder. Yes, there a lot of changes with the header. Kriesi added a new platform to modify the header settings. You’ll see more options on Enfold > Header. CSS modifications that you added for the header might be rendered useless, please remove them then reconfigure the header settings.

1.) Please use this plugin: http://wordpress.org/plugins/codestyling-localization/
Go to Tools > Localization and select “Themes”. Then search for “Enfold” in the list and select your language (italian) and click the “create po-file” button. Click on “Rescan” to search for all text strings. Afterwards click on “Edit” and translate the required strings from the “avia_framework” textdomain.
2.) I can’t see any example of the second issue above. Please post a link to the actual page with the said strings.

IsmaelHello, I just installed Enfold, Totaal clean installation. Jut the two standard plugins but not yet activated. The theme says that I have to install BB press forum. But when i do this i get a blank page. I cab also not reach WP-admin anymore. Through FTP I have to delete this plugin and then it works again. I have the same issue with Jetpack. After activating it I get an blank page and i cannot change the theme anymore, What is going on?
